I’m glad I’m not the only one that loves that quest. I just found it randomly after buying myself a house. And I got hooked to the quest, and I was amazed how it turned out
The Korok sidequest is so cute. Hands down. The Fairy Fountains however...... the more you open up each fountain and do further upgrades, the more touchy-feely the Fairies get. Poor Link.

No, this was all taken through the first playthrough. Some things did become a mess, though. But really, thank you for your kind comment :)
The sidequests in Breath of the Wild were a huge disappointment in my opinion, excluding some shrine quests and the house / Tarry Town quest. Breath of the Wild's lacking story could have been so much better if they fleshed out the present through side quests. There could have been quests that develop the champion descendants and earn you memories, there could have been side quests that permanently change certain areas (maybe the citizens of Hyrule could be attempting to take back territory from Ganon's forces), there could have been quests that provide challenging mini bosses, there could have been quests that led you through mini dungeons, etc. Not to mention all the key item spaces really could have been utilized for questing items. Idk, after Xenoblade 2, I have really high side quest standards.
We see your point, and you have some really interesting ideas there. Permanent changes did happen in Tarrey Town, though, but that was such a small part of the world. It would have been really cool if the sidequests could involve the champions so more. Seeing your comment, I really wish there were better sidequests there :P - Owner 1

Tarrey Town is my favorite sidequest. However, if we were given a sidequest to get Kass back home, that one would have been my favorite even atop of From The Ground Up
Some kind of Democrat I think the story and the champions scenes were just fine. Plus the shrine quests were badass. I actually think that this is the 2nd best game in the series except for wind waker
If you haven't played it yet, I heavily recommend Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana (which originally released almost a year before BotW), which is basically very similar to what you might get if you tried to make Breath of the Wild into a very arcadey Action RPG interpretation of a traditional 3D Zelda game, with the home base of Castaway Village basically being a much more story and gameplay heavy version of Tarrey Town, that you expand and populate through the 40ish hour long game, and it's the location where you get a majority of the excellent side quests. It also lets you actually play their amnesiac sword waifu's flashback sequences, which really let's you feel a greater attachment to her fallen kingdom.
Your videos are the best ever, keep it up owner 1 and owner 2. Your channel is the best! I'm having playing BOTW but I still doing the first divine beast But the sidequest I did and I had fun with them are: 1- collecting korok seeds, or finding the koroks. 2- battling the lynel to get shok arrows before attacking the divine beast the Zora one. 3- completing shrines. 4- having the camera for the shikah slate. 5- I don't remember the name of the sidequest, but it is the one that is in kakariko village where you have to buy carrots. These are the sidequests I remember. But I'm not sure if one of them does not count as a sidequest.
The Eighth Heroine, not that hard to find... Haha, I spent four hours scouring those creepy Gerudo Highlands only to have it be one of the few things in BotW I looked up how to do (I spent a while looking for it on the map beforehand, but didn't see it). That was such a difficult quest for me, as well as the Hebra Great Skeleton (r u srys Miyamoto lol). Anyways, definitely agree that Tarrey Town is #1! Helping build a unique town that pulls together all the races from Hyrule felt amazing when it was completed.
Hey Owners! Since you aren't doing a Miniboss Ranking, I have a question for you. What do you think of the Hinox design in this game? You mentioned that Hinox was one of your favorite monsters in a previous video, so I was just curious. It's new design is very...uh...heavy. Wow, I can't believe that tomorrow Breath of the Wild will be a year old. I have to say...it's my favorite game of all time. It has it's flaws, and to be honest it kinda lacks that "Zelda" feel. But still, I cannot deny that I loved this game. It's something truly special. :-)
Hey! The design of the Hinox here was... well, hideous, to be honest. For some reason, I'm not so fond of the Hinox these days as I was back when we made list, but the ones here really look more like huge, fat trolls rather than the more badass Hinox that ALttP had. Did they even have bombs in this game? Glad you like it that much :) It's neither ones of us' favorite Zelda, but it sure was an enjoyable experience :)
Yeah, I agree that the Hinox was pretty ugly in this game, But I will admit that the first one I encountered scared the crap out of me. It was so huge, and I didn't know what to do so I just ran away. :) Do you know where the channel will be heading after this? Since breath of the wild is over with, what do you plan to create video-wise?

suprised to not see the side quest you get for completing all kakiriko side quests. i found that one to be really interesting narratively. i thought the guard’s story was very interesting, and some of the things you learn while doing the earlier kakiriko sidequests are elaborated on in this one. plus it was my first encounter with the bigger yiga enemy, so that was a pretty memorable fight at the end
Curious, did you guys play the Champions Ballad dlc? If so, what did you think about. I thought it was ok. What I would have really liked for it is Link and Zelda recruiting the Champion’s successors (Sidon, Yunobo, Teba, and Riju,) as the new pilots for the divine beasts.
I (Owner 1) have played the Champions Ballad. It was alright. I think it had a good amount of content, but too little of story. Something like what could have been cool too.
My favorite quest is the riddles about the shadow of the sun.. Like you need the specific time of the day to finish the quest bceuase thats when the shadow reveal s the secret

Surprised to see the Korok seed one on here, also surprised to not see the long Kakariko one on here, although it is quite hard to find if you don’t know it’s there.
I was planning on getting a Switch this year so I could get this game, but then I learned that Kingdom Hearts 3 was coming out this year so I am saving for a PS4 instead since over ten years ago I promised myself that as soon as I get a release date (or window) I was going to buy the consul it was on lol. So yeah it'll be another year before I get this game since my budget is limited. Anyway I still want to comment on this video since I know what kind of Zelda sidequests I like. 10. Haha, my fav let's player just started playing this game at the beginning of the year and seeing him meet this dude was so funny. Yeah anything that expands your inventory is awesome! 9. Oh nostalgia, I love it! Yeah while the Cocco's side quest from OoT wasn't a fav, it was still fun to find them. They did do something similar in WW with the pigs. 8. Love picture quests, it was my fav type of sidequest in WW, so this is right up my alley. Darn shame you can't tame them for long, that is cool. "It might eat the other horses." LOL. 7. This sidequest reminds me of the picture side quests in Epic Mickey 2 when you have to get pictures of landmarks, and I love that! And an item that helps you move faster in sand? Oh cool. Reminds me of the hoverboots in OoT, made it so much easier to go through the Gerudo Dessert with them. 6. Aw, a culmination quest huh? Yeah there's always one or two of those that I've done and the prize tends to be worth it in the end. 5. Oh how cool, it's like they brought back the side quest from WW when you get your own cabana, only this time customization is involved. Cute! 4. *Scratches chin* Not sure about this one. Oh I know I'll do this quest (I am a completionist after all), but the idea of battling enemies on limited space is a bit nerve wracking. 3. I can't ever recall riddles being in a Zelda game (that I've played at least, never completed MM btw) and I enjoy them for sure. Omg, the idea of climbing up the Great Deku Tree though is awesome! Closest we came to that was in WW. 2. I bet that 3rd one was hard to find because it was camouflaged in the snow huh? hehe. 1. Awww I look forward to doing this quest thing. One of my fav games is Skies of Arcadia and one of my fav things about it was how you get to build and customize your own home base on an island you discover and you end up bringing residents from all over the world into building it. So yeah this looks so sweet! Great list guys. Quick questions about things like Diamonds and other stones. Those are only good for selling right?
Zodia195 The gemstones can be used to make jewelry in Gerudo town that has effects like cold resist, heat resist, etc. They’re also used in some upgrades. However, 90% of the time you’re just going to sell them haha.
Hah, well, hope you enjoy KH3 when it comes out then :D That 3rd Leviathan was hard to find because it was hidden in a cave in the mountains, behind a door that you had to break down by rolling a snowball that would grow larger as it rolled. Oh, and it had to go across a gap where you needed Cryonis to make a bridge. So first of all, it was hidden behind that door, which was hard in itself to find, but nothing hints you towards finding that skeleton of a huge beast inside of that cave :P And yes, what Sean Welton said ;)
Awesome video guys I love Breath of the wild and I love watching your rankings for this game keep up the great videos guys I promise I'll keep watching

10: Getting as much money, outfits and loots as possible 9: Raiding enemy camps 8: Killing overworld bosses 7: Assassinate selected enemies 6: Destroying guardians 5: Sidequests in Lost woods 4: Exploring optional areas 3: Unmask yiga assassins 2: Collecting memories 1: Master sword quest I am not a fan of the sidequests in BotW so many of them are my owns
I'd like to talk about 3 of your picks- #1 #2 and #5 (I'm too lazy to write the full names). #1: Pretty much the reason I searched for a video like this and would be my favourite even without the huge rewards. #5: Probably would be 2nd on my list but fifth isn't bad either. #2: You missed one big part that makes it even better- It's a joke about what killed the dinosaurs.
The side quests on this game are sooo dull. Some are based on taking lots of your rupees for little reward and most of them make you go through big distances for just as little reward. The shrines and the whole 4 orbs for one heart trade thing is just sooo god damn tiresome! And hell, don't even remind me of that stupid memories side quest! You gain literally NOTHING from the memories quest! Although the Master Sword trials are good, the reward for it is not. You just get 60 attack points for the MS and the sword beam attack (that you can only use with all of your hearts full, but you don't need all the game hearts).
Yes, most of the clips used were from the Wii U version, since that's what I (Owner 1) played, and I edit most of these videos. Owner 2 played on the Switch :)
playing wii u also n not much difference between them actually the wii u runs at a solid 60 fps n switch drops to 30 at times but i dont notice at all personally
I got problem with a side quest is my last side quest. I already finish the game but no let me finish it. Is on kakariko village. Find fairy fountain He no let me get it. He just say about a lot of people used that gate!! the pilango guy. Maybe some one cam help!! I know others has same problem
@Too poo 1. When we say "isn't that hard to find", we mean in game, by yourself. Without outside help. Of course everything is easy when you can look things up. 2. We DID play all sidequests. These were the ones we liked the most out of all the sidequests in the game.
Hey, I was just asking because there are two of us narrating in the video here. No need to put up an attitude when I try to take your comment somewhat as constructive criticism. Fun fact: I am blond. - Owner 1
TheOwnersOfTriforce I decided to abstain from Zelda channels till the hype died down, and when people began to stop being blinded by their first play through. I played it rather recently for the 1st time a month ago. I got a solid #14 entry of the 16 Zelda games I've played. I'm glad for what it did for the franchise, but it was basically a lot of what I didn't want (mediocre story, breakable mechanics, a lack of quality dungeons, sidequests and bosses). I could practically write an entire book on how I feel about this game, but I'd rather not. I'm curious to know where you guys would rank this game in comparison to the others.

Okay so sell them but save a few when possible. Thanks.
Hah, well, hope you enjoy KH3 when it comes out then :D
That 3rd Leviathan was hard to find because it was hidden in a cave in the mountains, behind a door that you had to break down by rolling a snowball that would grow larger as it rolled. Oh, and it had to go across a gap where you needed Cryonis to make a bridge. So first of all, it was hidden behind that door, which was hard in itself to find, but nothing hints you towards finding that skeleton of a huge beast inside of that cave :P
And yes, what Sean Welton said ;)
Throughout the entire list I was saying under my breath "Tarry Town...it has to be Tarry Town..."
Hey, Owners! Always love your rankings. What's the next one about?
We'll see :)
Cool, I'm curious...
Cool vid but are you Norwegian or Swedish?
Owners come back, we need you. You must save Zelda and youtube with a video. Please we need zelda content!
Awesome video guys I love Breath of the wild and I love watching your rankings for this game keep up the great videos guys I promise I'll keep watching

TheOwnersOfTriforce your welcome & sorry for the late reply I was visiting my brother just got home today keep up the great videos I'll always keep watching
Well, our reply was really the late one. It took us 3 weeks, so... :P
I fucking love you guys!
We f'ing love you too xD
I got my first horse in the beginning of the game. I never registered it because I didn’t know you could do that. During the maracas side quest it died by those bokoblins. :/
Real good video
Thank you :)

Hah, interesting list! :D
OwnerOfTriforce, can you do a video of top how many boss battle music? If you can or not?
We have one, called "Top 10 Boss Themes"
TheOwnersOfTriforce isit now on UA-cam because I want to see it and share my idea of my best boss battle themes.
Yes, we made it long ago. Just search for it, and you'll find it
TheOwnersOfTriforce oh thank you I got it
TheOwnersOfTriforce haven't you seen this video before? This is it:ua-cam.com/video/it2sk2nzbnY/v-deo.html
Thanks for your comment :) What was the joke, or where do you find it?
In the game they argue about what killed the Leviathans like scientists argue about what killed the dinosaurs.
Who else put the champions’s weapons on the displays for your house, cause I grinded to just put em on a wall
New Owners video...aw yeah!
Guys quick question: Gohdan or Helmaroc King? :)
Cosmic Sentry helmaroc
Helmaroc King
Thank you! Love your videos so much!
Thank you :D Sorry for the late response. We've been having much less time to do that nowadays.
No worries! XD
I never'ed knew grant'e was Robbie and jarrin son, I'm shocked! I thought they were crazy and the michine was there son
Sup guys!! as always, good videos c:
Thank you :D
Hello you are one of my fav youtubers
Thank you, how nice! :D
Being one of the first person to watch this, it's a real honor to watch such an amazing vid!
Wow, thank you very much :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Shout out Freeing Naydra sidequest
That was a Shrine quest. Check out that video, maybe you'll find it there ;)
The side quests on this game are sooo dull.
Bra video!
It still disturbs me that the guy from number ten asks for seeds from children. Think of it for a while an dit gets really weird
Um...
It vås isi tu faind witsj kvests thæt vås saidkvests... hahaha fantastisk engelsk der, gutter.
If this is the last BotW video, could you make a top 5/10 last dungeons themes list next.
There will be a full ranking of that later, and we have it all planned out.
WII U!
wait, you were playing the wii u version? same
Yes, most of the clips used were from the Wii U version, since that's what I (Owner 1) played, and I edit most of these videos. Owner 2 played on the Switch :)
@@TheOwnersOfTriforce are there any differences within the game?
@@Alis_Grave_Nil ik im late but the swtich is portable and has slightly better graphics and quicker loading speeds. That's about it.
playing wii u also n not much difference between them actually the wii u runs at a solid 60 fps n switch drops to 30 at times but i dont notice at all personally
Er dere norske?
Heloooo, are you guys still alive?
No, are you?
I was actually worried
I got problem with a side quest is my last side quest. I already finish the game but no let me finish it. Is on kakariko village. Find fairy fountain
He no let me get it. He just say about a lot of people used that gate!! the pilango guy. Maybe some one cam help!! I know others has same problem
The 8th heroine statue "Isn't that hard to find". Lul this guy. Yeah if you have google its not hard to find.
Also these are subpar sidequests but This is also a huge game so not surprised they haven't done some that I have done.
@Too poo 1. When we say "isn't that hard to find", we mean in game, by yourself. Without outside help. Of course everything is easy when you can look things up.
2. We DID play all sidequests. These were the ones we liked the most out of all the sidequests in the game.
Let me guess... You are Norwegian.. 🤣 Takker, mann!
NoLoot Studios Tenkte det samme🇳🇴
Missed the stream again 😭
Sorry to see that :( ...first now xD
TheOwnersOfTriforce First?
Yeah, we didn't see the comment until now :P We've been really slow to respond to comments these days.
I think that all the levithan are bast boss from uther zelda game
Which ones, then?
Tfw u still dont have BotW
F***ING GET IT!
You sound norwegian.
Simple reason - we are ;)
Dude, your pronunciation is not that good if I am going to be honest with you
"Dude"? Which one of us dudes are you talking to, then?
You aren't blond too, try to guess
Hey, I was just asking because there are two of us narrating in the video here. No need to put up an attitude when I try to take your comment somewhat as constructive criticism.
Fun fact: I am blond.
- Owner 1
Who cares, it's youtube
1 whole year of bad voice acting amiright
No. I do think so.
Hungry Ditto totally lol
Sadie Coleman Eyy Sadie
Yup.
I'm going to be honest, I really didn't like this game.
You're not the only one, despite all the praise it's gotten.
