Did you know, aside from the room that you fight Blizzeta, there are no hearts dropped by enemies or in pots anywhere in Snowpeak Ruins?

Also, the little Chapel area has no mention of the Triforce or the Goddesses

Weeping Dalek Good observation. The Triforce isn't the only thing with a holy theme in the Zelda series, though, as they've picked out a lot of symbols and other things from real religions into the Zelda world.

But I believe that is one of, if not, the only one in the series that doesn't have any mention of those, BTW I got that off the Zelda Wiki

      It's a close call.
But I think Twilight Princess wins by default for having 9 full-sized dungeons and Ocarina of Time only has 5.
OoT's full-sized dungeons are great, and I fully enjoy playing all of them, but the 3 child dungeons really just bring down the experience for me. The only one that I don't groan about having to go through on a replay is Dodongo's Cavern. And there's only one dungeon in Twilight Princess that I really don't like at all.

      @evilgangster2496 7 років тому +4

Well im glad you like that dungeon but for me that dungeon made me quit the game 2 times because of the zant hands. But im glad you enjoyed it :)

    • @orio-kami7601
      @orio-kami7601 4 роки тому +1

I didn't like it for the hands: I know you can _technically_ stop them... But I have a hard time pointing correctly, so I use all my arrows for nothing, I'm out of arrows pretty quickly and those fùçkįng hands took the orbs aaaaaand direction --> start again ! _Yey_ .
The rest of the dungeon was cool, but _this_ part gave me nightmare (good thing I'm better at it now).
But you can have your own opinion and love it.
Just because _I_ or (apparently, cause I didn't know) the majority didn't like it doesn't mean it's trash. And I admit it was pretty cool, just nightmarish and hard for me.

    • @artfulaud
      @artfulaud 4 роки тому

I really enjoyed this dungeon because of the challenge the Zant Hands give. However, when I was younger I hated playing through it because they gave me the big creeps with how they move and the music, etc. To this day, they still give me a little bit of the goosebumps ;) haha

    For me.
    9. Palace of Twilight.
Trust me, it's much harder on the GameCube.
    8. Hyrule Castle.
While it is done well, it seems like just a way to finish the plot.
    7. City in the Sky.
    Acrophobia. Enough said
    6. Forest Temple.
Best first dungeon I have ever seen.
    5. Arbiter's Grounds.
While the backstory and desert theme is awesome, it just seems like a rehash of the oot forest temple in the first half and the shadow temple in the second.
    4. Snowpeak Ruins.
I love the idea of this place and it is probably the most successful ice level in any video game.
    3. Goron Mines.
Fantastic use of the iron boots. Unique use of the bow while being upside down.
    2. Temple of Time
I'm actually not sure why I like this one so much, but the music is great.
    1. Lakebed Temple.
If there is anything I love in Zelda dungeons, it's puzzles that make you think. The staircase was pure genius and the atmosphere was great. I also happen to love water levels when done properly. This is the king of water levels.

      9. I played it first on the Gamecube, and then again before we made these videos, with a few playthroughs on the Wii in between. Didn't really find it harder on either of the versions.
      5. It might feel that way to some, but we still loved it. It still felt new to us, but we gotta admit - we're suckers for settings and themes like the ones in this dungeon :p
      4. It's definitely my favorite ice dungeon in any Zelda game.
      1. I really agree with you there, and like I said in the video, it's such a shame that there were so many other great dungeons here that we found better, because if the Lakebed Temple was in any other game, it would probably have ended higher up. This is also my favorite water dungeon in the series.
      Thanks for your comment :)

Defenitly the best video I've seen on this channel so far, nice editing and commatary, you did a great job:)
    9. It was my favourite first dungeon until I played Minish Cap
8.Still better than the Water Temple and the Great Bay Temple
7.I actually enjoyed the Temple of Time. The music in there is just fitting, it has something holy and fighting the enemies was great.
6.The wall jumping gets annoying when you play the game several times, but the first time I loved it. Sniping the enemies from the wall at the outside-part never gets old.
5.The dubble clawshot is cool, but I still don't like this dungeon. I got lost everytime I play it:p
4.Scared the shit out of me when I was younger
3.I love this dungeon. Cool story, it has something creepy, great atmosphere. But the boss was disapointing
2.Too short, but the things you do are awesome
1.It's my favourite dungeon of all time. Glad to see it this high on your list.
    Keep on doing this work.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it :) I went all in for this one. This is my favorite topic in the Zelda games, and I believe TP has one of the absolute best dungeon line ups in the series, so I did my best on this one, so I'm really glad you like it :D
      9. I understand :) Minish Cap had a really good first dungeon too.
      8. I agree ;)
      7. It's not bad at all, but just not as good as the rest above this one :p yeah, the enemies were great ;)
      6. I thought it was awesome all the time :p Yeah, that part is so much fun!
      5. Hehe, it can be easy to get lost, but we still find it to be a unique and great dungeon ^^
      4. I loved everything about it xD
      3. Yes, this dungeon is fantastic! Well, a lot of the boss fights in this game were disappointing, to be honest, but I liked that Yeta ended up being the boss.
      2. Agree with you there.
      1. I totally understand that it's your favorite, and I'm glad it is :) It's an amazing dungeon, and my highlight in this game :D

    My rankings
    9. Hyrule castle (6/10) very easy, linear and uninspiring, but the music is great and also the final bosses.
    8. Goron mines (7/10) using iron boots to climb the magnetic rails was tedious and music wasn't nothing to write home about but the atmosphere was amazing.
    7. Forest temple (7.5/10) great music, atmosphere, and loved saving the monkeys, and the dungeon reminds me of a d.k stage but it was way to easy.
    6. Temple of time (7.5/10) to linear, and boss sucked, but it does have challenging puzzles.
    5. Palace of twilight (8/10) really amazing atmosphere, loved when the twilight hands are chasing you, loved the Phantom Zant battles, and the music and Zant is my favorite boss in Zelda history, but the 2nd half of the dungeon is boring
    4. Snowpeak ruins (9/10) amazing atmosphere, very cryptic and non linear, loved the ice skeleton and loved using the ball and chain, but hated how yeta gave you wrong directions all the time.
    3. Arbiter grounds (10/10) outstanding atmosphere has a mummy/Indiana Jones style to it. Loved hunting down the big poes, loved the eerie music, the mini boss and boss, loved the spinner puzzles.
    2. Lakebed temple (10/10) amazing atmosphere, flawless dungeon design and puzzles, very cryptic and non linear, eerie music, loved the enemies.
    1. City in the sky (11/10) BEST DUNGEON IN ZELDA HISTORY. Best atmosphere, best puzzles, best item, very non linear and cryptic, puts a lot of items to use, amazing music, amazing boss, and the best dungeon/level design ever in any video game imo.

I really liked the Palace of Twilight. I thought there were some good puzzles with the hand and it isn't that annoying if you just shoot him often. I also really like City in the Sky, with clawshot crazyness everywhere. I think that "eureka" moment at the end when you are back in the big middle room where you lower yourself through the fan to use the other clawshot on the switch sold it for me.

What your favourite TP dungeon says about you:
Forest Temple: You were annoyed by the 2 million year long intro and were relieved that you made it to a dungeon.
Goron Mines: You like Lord of the Rings because lets admit Fyrus is basically a Balrog.
Lakebed Temple: You are extremely clever and good at solving puzzles.
Arbiter's Grounds: You like to go along with the majority. Or you just like this dungeon.
Snowpeak Ruins: You have a unique personality and don't mind jumpscares.
Temple of Time: You played Ocarina of Time way too much back in the day.
City in the Sky: You don't mind when you get lost.
Palace of Twilight: You love Majora's Mask
Hyrule Castle: You like bosses and don't mind dying to them a few times.
This is entirely a joke btw. Please don't take this seriously.

I agree with almost all of you rankings, City in the Sky has to be my favourite along with the Hyrule Castle ofcourse. I have to say... TP has hands down the best dungeons in the series, even better than OoT's because actually TP's feel more ''realistic'', like they were supposed to exist there, they were both believable and challenging(i don't know if you understand what i mean). Thanks for the video guys. ;-)

Haha :p Well, I'm mostly serious, yes, but there are a few occasions where I'd like to throw something funny in there xD But, like, I don't always know if something's really gonna be funny to other people, so I try not to take too many chances :p I'm really glad you found it funny though! :D I do understand what you mean. And yes, I kinda agree with you there actually. Never thought of it that way :p TP is veeeeery close to OoT in those terms, and maybe some day, I'll actually consider these to be the best! :) City in the Sky and Hyrule Castle are both incredible, so I can't blame you there :p That's nice of you to say! 9: Forest Temple - as you said; a pretty good dungeon to rank last in a list...I'm heartbroken to do this
8: Temple of Time - great mini-boss and cool enemies but this dungeon could have used some more complexity in it's structure
7: Lakebed Temple - contains the largest boss in the series altough it's pretty easy. The huge gear-mechanics in this dungeon are simply brilliant. Best water dungeon in the series...unless Ancient Cistern is considered to be in that category ;)
6: Palace of Twilight - those creapy hands with their creepy music always freak me out! The dungeon music is totally awesome however and the plot (and neck) twist at the end left me completely speechless! Still...I think other dungeons brougt more variety and challenge.
5: Hyrule Castle - this place always felt a bit too empty to me, especially the courtyard. The enemies here don't give you too much trouble as well, unless you have to fight 2 darknuts at once. I hoped for some more challenge. Still, the atmosphere is great and a perfect buildup (strongly inspired by ocarina of time) for the final encounter in the game.
4: Goron Mines - this is so much more than OOT's fire temple. Great music, a lot of present danger (I really love fire btw) and very creative! There are puzzles with water (in a fire dungeon!), the wicked iron boots, the bow and various chains. Also one of the best mini-bosses in the game!
3: Arbiter's Grounds - no dungeon has a better buildup towards it than this one. You can spot this structure a long time earlier and when you finally reach the desert, you have to sneak through an enemy camp to get to the entrance. A must do at night btw! Great atmosphere, a great boss and mini-boss and one of the coolest items in the game: the spinner.
2: Snowpeak Ruins - to be honest, for me this is the hardest dungeon in the game, including second hardest boss and hardest mini-boss. The way you reach this dungeon is unique, the way you explore it is unique, how you get the dungeon map is unique. This mansion looks abandoned by some crazy "we want to live on the edge of the world"-family and now inhabited by two beings who probably lived in a cave or outside before. Such a great concept! And...smashing ice totally rocks.
1: City in the Sky - yes, the ooccaa are some of the weirdest inventions of Nintendo's weird design department ever, no doubt. But as soon as that sage on top of Arbiter's Grounds mentioned: "one is in the heavens', I lost my mind. After the Temple of Time, the anticipation kept rising, and when you finally managed to solve all puzzles and got that cannon ready, the sight of this city in clouds was enough to make me ecstatic. Great music and atmosphere. I love it how danger always feels present in the outdoor areas because of Argorok's misbehavior. The battle with Argorok is awesome too, but the biggest reason here for the nr.1 position is the double clawshot, which is for me the coolest weapon I ever used in a Zelda game. And never feels it better to use it than here; in the city in the sky.
My list differs a bit from yours, owners, but I admire how much you love this game and agree with all arguments you're making. You're doing a great job. It's a shame I only discovered this channel one month ago.

      9. Exactly.
      8. It was sort of fine for what it was. Nothing spectacular, but nothing too special either.
      7. Yeah, it is a really good dungeon. The Ancient Cistern is about 50%, maybe more of a water dungeon.I won't really blame anyone for counting that as a water dungeon though :P
      6. That's all fair!
      5. Also fair.
      4. I find the music very bland, to be honest. The dungeon is very good in general, though!
      3. Yes, yes, and yes!

I saw this video couple of days ago on my phone. I wanted to comment, but decided to wait until I get my computer back because some of my posts can be quite lengthy and it's uncomfortable to type on my phone. Well, anyway, here's my ranking and opinion.
Temple of Time - This is a really boring place as well as a huge drop in difficulty compared to last few dungeons. This place has a nice brown/cream colour palette which is bright and sort of unusual for this game, I really like it. Anyway, about the dungeon. It is a really linear place. You can not get lost there! You simply climb up then back down, with no paths to the side. The puzzles are also really simple most of the time, mainly focusing on shooting these crystals with the bow or defeating enemies to make chests appear. Placing pots on the switches isn't really impressive either. However, it was used rather well, like the time where you had to place a pot on a switch which would cause one gate to fall down and another one to rise. Then you needed to shoot that pot to reverse the gates. The most interesting part of the dungeon was the scale puzzle. You had to use the same thing three times with slight variations which was a cool idea. Also, because of linearity of the dungeon, it's easy to miss the boss key, which is cool in my opinion. Also, taking the statue back down was interesting, but not that fun. Overall, it's not a bad dungeon...just not as good as the other ones. I think it would make a great introductory dungeon.
Forest Temple - It is the first dungeon. However, it has exceeded my expectations. I was expecting something like Deku Tree, but was surprised in a good way. I think the whole monkey gimmick was interesting. Also, I really like how you had to use the bomb bug things to feed to the plants and throw on the boulders to make them explode. I also liked the variation of it where you had to use Gale Boomerang to move the bomb bug things around. Very creative. Also, the puzzle to get the boss key was interesting I was stuck on it for couple of minutes. I didn't think to look down at first, but I know I'm not the only one!
Hyrule Castle - It had great music and atmosphere. I like how the entire thing is divided into two parts: the exterior and the interior.I also really like the way you had to use many items as well as both human and wolf Link. However, this place is really short and the puzzles are really simple. The place is kind of linear too.
Palace of Twilight - I actually forgot to put it in...Anyway, I like the colour palette used in this place. Black with these neon colours looks so nice. As for the dungeon itself, I liked how you had to retrieve two Sols to get in the main part of the palace. This place is more platforming than puzzle based, which is disappointing. It is also too linear.
Arbiter's Grounds - I used to hate this place, but now I kind of like it. This place just creped me out, especially these ghoul rats. The first time I saw them I freaked out. Anyway, about the dungeons. I liked the 4 Pou souls haunt. I thing that was well thought out how you had to use both human and wolf Link to find them. This place also had these...random parts, like that area with Stallfos near the beginning where you had to lit the lanterns which just seemed out of place. Spinner is fun and it was utilised well. Overall, I like the puzzles and the general atmosphere as well as backstory of this place.
Goron Mines - I am not a huge fan of fire places, but Goron mines was a really fun place to go through. The main reason it's this high up is because of the creative use of iron boots. Also, the part where you had to pull the chain to move a stone wall blocking your way and quickly go back around it gave me a lot of trouble for some reason. I felt it's weird how you get a bow here, but sniping enemies, especially upside down was really fun.
City in the Sky - This was a long, confusing and huge place! And I love it! There were some parts were I was stuck and had to run around the damn place for a long time just to notice I missed a single grappling point! I liked how you had to switch on the fan to make the platforms spin so you can get across it. Also, I like how the boss was actually trying to get in your way. It didn't contained much puzzles, but the place was so huge and twisted that the dungeon itself can be considered a puzzle.
Lakebed Temple - Water dungeon done right? I'd say so. I really like water areas in games, but I heard of the dreaded water dungeons of the Zelda series, so I was dreading this place. However, the dungeon turned out to be fantastic. As someone else pointed it out, the rotating stairway was a genius idea. Using it not only to get from place to place, but to use it as a bridge for transporting water was a fantastic idea. Also, I just liked the feeling of how this place became so...mobile. I mean, you do one thing to make something else move, so you can move to other places. I really like that idea. It also made good use of iron boots in a different way we saw in the previous dungeon. Overall, I just liked how you had to turn the place "on".
Snowpeak Ruins - That is a fantastic dungeon. It has great atmosphere and design, which is why I like it so much. First of all, the idea for a mansion...occupied by someone was a really cool idea for a dungeon. Normally, these dungeons are specifically made to be dungeons, but here it's somebody's home. As for the dungeon, it's outside and inside which I like. It has many clever puzzles which I also like. The ice block puzzle had me stopped for ages, even though it's not too difficult. The structure of this place is really nice and I like how you have to move from place to place and uncover more areas once you have the means to do so. Using the cannons to break the ice, then using Ball and Chain...and then both was interesting and allowed for many ways to move around the house. I really like that church (why have they got their own personal church?) where you get attacked by Chillfos, it was really intense and beating them was fun. Overall, I think that's a fantastic dungeon and there is nothing I dislike about it.
So here it is, sorry for the length of it...you probably won't read it anyway, but here it is.

Carbon61 Yeah, we totally understand if you wanted to wait until you got a computer. I totally hate using my phone for these kinds of things, and especially to write a comment with this kind of length! :p
Temple of Time - It is really linear with relatively easy puzzles, but yes, that scale was a cool thing. We really enjoyed controlling the statue, though. It's great that you found some enjoyment in this dungeon, and we understand that you'd put it at the bottom. All dungeons in this game were really good, so even when one of the dungeons end up at the bottom, it doesn't automatically mean it's bad.
Forest Temple - It had a great length and the monkeys were charming. The Gale Boomerang was used very well, and the puzzles in general were really good to be the first dungeon.
Hyrule Castle - Totally agree about the interior and exterior. The music and atmosphere were fantastic as well. Personally, I have a second thought about it being on 2nd place on our list, but it still is a fantastic dungeon in our eyes.
Palace of Twilight - The colour palette was great in this dungeon, we agree. You're right about it being more platform based, which we think worked well, but it could have better puzzles. The atmosphere is definitely something we found to be really strong in this dungeon.
Arbiter's Grounds - We love the creepy themes of it, the enemies, the architecture, the Spinner, the puzzles and pretty much everything about this dungeon. We're glad you're starting to like it!
Goron Mines - Yeah, the use of the Iron Boots was really cool, and while we think it was sort of weird to get the Bow here too, it was a lot of fun to use it on the different enemies there.
City in the Sky - It really was big and not really that linear. Personally, I think the boss itself is the best thing about this dungeon. Like you said, it's trying to get in your way, and it was so awesome to see it destroying the bridge, and it was amazing to just look up in the sky and see it flying around at the top of the dungeon. It was a very nice touch!
Lakebed Temple - It's great to see someone appreciate this dungeon this much. Seriously, we kinda feel bad for putting it low on our list, because it really is a great dungeon! The stairway was genius, both in the ways of getting to your destination and let the water flow to other parts of the dungeon. It was nice to see that the Iron Boots were used for its "original" way too, and not just in the newer, innovative way like in Goron Mines (even though they had to be used to get to the bottom of water there too). "Water dungeon done right?" - yes, we think so too.
Snowpeak Ruins - Ah, great words about this one. It's really fun dungeon. Like you said, it being a mansion with residents, inside and outside areas, good puzzles with the cannons and ball and chain, the tough enemies, the directions you were sent in, and yes, the church segment was cool (and weird) :P It was really creative, and definitely deserves to be at your top, in my opinion :)

I think that my favorite is Snowpeak, but that’s just because of how unique it is. All Zelda dungeons have that dungeon-y feel, as if everything is layed out too perfectly to be whatever it actually is. Besides the ice block room, this ruined house actually feels like a ruined house.

The best is easily the Snowpeak Ruins. Why? Well...
-It has characters accompanying you throughout it.
-The creative healing source that makes your quest not useless.
-The item is objectively one of the most useful.
    -The atmosphere is hypnotizing.
-It's miniboss is a nice challenge.
-Those spear enemies are my favorite challenging Zelda enemies.
-The dungeon feels natural, which is something many Zelda dungeons fail to do.
-The boss is the second best I have played so far (I just got to the Temple of Time), with it's music, challenge, and item usage.

I actually really like the dungeons in Twilight Princess, so it's pretty hard for me to rank them but here's my attempt:
    9. Hyrule Castle
I honestly don't really enjoy this dungeon. Once again, it might be my bias against end-game dungeons, but I just have a hard time liking combat-focused dungeons over puzzle-focused ones. I also found this dungeon to be pretty linear and straight forward which is also something I tend to not like in dungeons. This is all my personal preference, so I can see why others would like it. This dungeon was just too linear, and too combat-heavy for me :P
    8. Palace of Twilight
While I really loved the atmosphere and look of this place, my personal bias against not liking linear dungeons comes into play when ranking this dungeon. I found it pretty short and easy, and there really wasn't much to explore. The end fight with Zant though was pretty awesome and the sections with the hand is what makes me put this dungeon above Hyrule Castle
    7. Snowpeak Ruins
I really want to like this dungeon, but I have a past history of really struggling with snow/ice themed dungeons. The main reason I didn't enjoy this dungeon was because of all the annoying enemies scattered through it. Especially those ice guys that throw the spears. I liked the whole idea of this dungeon being the home of two Yeti's, so that was a pretty creative twist on a dungeon.
    6. City in the Sky
I'm not ranking this dungeon so low because of it's difficulty. I like confusing and disorienting dungeons as much as the next guy, but I just found this dungeon to be pretty bland. The concept of the dungeon is cool, and it had a few good puzzles that makes me put it above the previous three spots, but I just found some areas in this dungeon to be boring and have nothing special about them. I will admit the double clawshot was a pretty fun item to use though!
    5. Temple of Time
I have a tendency to hate linear dungeons as you can tell by my ranking of Hyrule Castle and Palace of Twilight. But I feel like the Temple of Time did linear dungeon design right. Working your way to the top of the temple and then guiding the giant statue all the way back down was a clever idea that gave me a sense of progression with each floor I conquered. Overall it was a pretty solid dungeon.
    4. Forest Temple
This dungeon is one of my favourites when it comes to first dungeons in the Zelda series. The overall look and feel of this dungeon is really awesome and it's even a pretty fun dungeon to play. It's not overly linear, it has a couple of good puzzles, and I enjoy it every time I play it!
    3. Goron Mines
I can describe this dungeon as having everything I enjoyed with the Forest Temple, but more. The overall design of this dungeon is pretty awesome and having to go through rooms you've been in before but with your new item is pretty cool. I also loved the magnet gimmick and shooting down all of the enemies in the outside areas. The only problem with this dungeon is the boss. He's so pathetically easy xD
    2. Lakebed Temple
A water dungeon this high on the list? Well, that's because I really love the complexity and level design of this dungeon. I love my dungeons complex and non-linear and this dungeon delivers. With the cool mechanic of the spiral staircase in the central hub, using the clawshot to get to areas you couldn't before, and even swimming underwater was pretty decent in this game. While some people find this dungeon annoying, I find it a perfect balance between confusing, and enjoyable.
    1. Arbiters Grounds
While this dungeon isn't as complex and non-linear as the Lakebed Temple, I just couldn't put this dungeon below it. The one thing that makes this my favourite dungeon in the game is without a doubt the atmosphere and visuals of this game. Being able to solve puzzles by switching between link and wolf link was a fun mechanic, the spinner is one of the best items in the series, and the boss was really damn fun to beat!

    • @TheOwnersOfTriforce
      @TheOwnersOfTriforce  7 років тому +1

      9. Sure, that's understandable :)
      8. Yeah, not many people are liking this one. We do, though :)
      7. Aw, this one is fantastic though. But we can understand the annoyance of the Chilfos!
      6. Alright then.
      5. That's cool!
      4. It's great to see this one this high :) It really is a great first dungeon!
      3. Yes, this dungeon is great, and we know!! The boss is so easy, which is sad, cause it looks SOOOO AWESOME!
      2. This is one of the best water dungeons in the series, in our opinion. It's really enjoyable to us.
      1. Yay, awesome to see this one on top :) We really think it's the best!

    Here's my personal ranking:
    9. City in the Sky
    8. Forest Temple
    7. Palace of Twilight
    6. Goron Mines
    5. Hyrule Castle
    4. Temple of Time
    3. Lakebed Temple
    2. Arbiter's Grounds
    1. Snowpeak Ruins
Numbers 8-3 were really difficult for me to decide. I knew City in the Sky was my least favorite (not bad, but my least favorite in this game) and Arbiter's Grounds and Snowpeak Ruins are my favorites by FAR. Everything else was fun, but ordering them was more difficult than I expected and I'm not super confident in the order I decided on, haha.

Yeah, the dungeons in this game are all really solid! It's cool to see the Lakebed Temple that high up, cause we really feel that it's an underappreciated dungeon. People seem to dismiss it easily because it's a water dungeon. Your top 2 are amazing, though!

0:13 Majora's Mask and Wind Waker had the best dungeons in Zelda in my opinion
2:15 my favorite first Zelda Dungeon was Woodfall Temple
2:36 my favorite water dungeon is Great Bay Temple. I love the music, ice arrows and use of the Zora mask as well as having some cool ice arrow puzzles.
22:30 I also thought it was a glitch at first. Until I looked it up and felt stupid.

    • @TheOwnersOfTriforce
      @TheOwnersOfTriforce  9 років тому +1

Majora's Mask wasn't too bad, but we think Wind Waker had the poorest dungeons out of the 3D games. They weren't particularly bad, but we didn't find much that was special about them.
Woodfall Temple is a great first dungeon in my opinion!
It has good use of the Ice Arrows, but the whole place is really tedious to me xD I'm not a fan of the Great Bay Temple at all...
Haha, me too! It's weird how a mechanic like that can be easily forgotten, especially when you've used it a lot while in Wolf form :p

I love all the temples in Twilight Princess ( which is a contributing factor as to why it's my favorite game/ Zelda game ever.) It would be impossible for me to rank them starting from 9 and working my way down to 1 since all of them are unique and creative in their own way.
I will say this, however, and its that the Arbiters Grounds is my absolute favorite temple in this game as well as in the entire Zelda continuity.

I gotta say, I agree with most all of these and I LOVE how they were presented :) The mission impossible bit had me lol'ing :) With Twilight Princess, it's almost like I feel bad ranking ANY dungeon at the bottom, kinda like you said.
The Temple of Time would be higher for me, but OMG I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT ABOUT THE CLOWN CARD! And omg "Eff you gates" is exactly what I feel like too XD I agree though, the portal at the entrance is the best part :)
Agreed on EVERYTHING about the Goron Mines. The only reason it doesn't get even higher is because of it being short/near the first.
Lmao yet again, I lol'ed at the comments on the Ooccoo. I agree on the call out of the boss destroying the bridge.
Loooooove the Palace of Twilight :D I agree the hand seem so creepy at first, then you get the dumb thing trapped behind the stairs or whack it with the clawshot a few times and just laught at it :) Omg the Simpsons part XD I agree about the "porch" as well, it's neat to be on it when it's included in cutscenes.
Ohhh, Link's face when he finds a pumpkin and cheese. These Yetis are messing with Link all the way XD
LOOOVE the castle! I'm so glad it was so high :D I love the call out that there's no music--I loved that concept. I figure Ganondorf took the stairs out of the castle ;) lol. Totally agree about the Resistance cutscene. Personally, I would have rather that been left out.
You KNOW I agree wtih #1!!! Agree with everything you said. And I thought the game was messed up the first time I played and had ghoul rats on me as well! I kept putting on and taking off the iron boots cos I thought the game thought I had them on or something lol. Love everything about this dungeon :)

So the reason why I LOVE TP’s dungeons is:
    A. They are well designed and challenge your abilities so far.
    B. They are thematically brilliant and fit the tone of the dark universe!
    C. They are tons of fun to play and you can easily replay them. Snowpeak Ruins. Lakebed, Hyrule Castle and Arbiter’s Grounds are prime examples!
    D. The items within the dungeons are well utilized and can come in handy against the bosses.
    E. They are implemented very well in the story. As you said, Arbiter’s Grounds expands the amount of dungeons required to complete. Later dungeons also test your ability to use Wolf Link.
    Those are my reasons!

I wanted to post my top, but I just can't, I love Twilight Princess so much, so I will just praise it.
Forest Temple: Great First Dungeon, the spiders and the atmosphere were so creepy. Really fell in love with the game here.
Goron Mines: Keeps the level of the puzzles and changes the thematic to fire, is very linear and I love it, really seems like Mario with that much platforming.
Lake Bed: This place is so majestic, switching the water, obtaining the clawshot, amazing enemies with cool mechanics both under and above water. Brilliant.
Arbiter Grounds: Perfect, the best way to introduce you to wolf link and alternating between both. Amazing puzzles, cool setting and the best item ever.
Snow Peak Ruins: It's literally a house, the "mini-game" of upgrading the soup was such a cool mechanic, amazing setting.
Temple of Time: Ity linear, but they compensate with the unique mechanic. The way to experience it forward changes completely backwards.
City In the Sky: Platforming and puzzles, so weird so unique, so acrofobic, so perfect.
Twilight: Combat based maze. You fight the enemies (or solve the puzzle) get a key, go on. Really basic, but really fun
Hyrule: The perfect ending. All of the items are used, you get to fight the Bobo King, combines wolf and human perfectly and the build in tension that ends with the boss battle is so well implemented. Also rain, rain is always a plus.

    9. I liked this dungeon, but I agree that it should be ranked last.
    8. I think the swamp palace from ALttP may be better in my opinion, but this dungeon did improve on a lot of things that needed to be fixed with past water dungeons.
    7. Finally seeing it as an actual dungeon was great, but I totally agree that the best part was going through the portal.
    6. This dungeon is ranked perfectly! It is one of the most creatively put together dungeons in the series, though it did have a few flaws here and there.
    5. One of my all time favorite dungeons in the series! Awesome boss, great music, and of course it had the double clawshots!
    4. This dungeon is short and easy, but it had an awesome boss and atmosphere! The giant hand always freaked me out though lol.
    3. Another great dungeon! I always loved the atmosphere of this place! It also had a cool boss and a cool item!
    2. Just like the one in A Link to the Past, only better! It improved on a lot of the puzzles and enemies, and the music was great too!
    1. Like you've seen in my videos, I LOVE Arbiter's Grounds! Great choice for #1, and great list!

      8. The Swamp Palace is really good, but I think they did a wonderful job with this one.
      7. Hehe, I got nostalgia goosebumps all over me the first time I went through it.
      6. I don't think it's really flawed in any particular way, but it's somewhat weaker than the ones above.
      4. The Zant Hand was definitely scary the first time, yeah! :p
      3. Amazing dungeon :)

Here is my opinion on your ranking. 9. I like this first dungeon, with a cool concept and great difficulty. 8. This dungeon was a fun challenge to go through. Too bad both bosses stunk. 7. While I did like the idea of the Temple of Time being a dungeon, it was tedious to backtrack the whole dungeon with the statue. Also, too linear for a sixth dungeon. 6. Most underrated dungeon in the game. I love the use of both items in the dungeon, plus very fun to go through. 5. My personal favorite dungeon in the game. With the outside area, to the use of many items, to being Spider-Man with the double clawshots, to a very epic boss to cap off an amazing dungeon. 4. The only dungeon I disagree with. The first half was tedious with those Zant hands, we barely get an item(a fog-proof sword), too linear, and way too short. 3.My favorite ice dungeon in the game. I really like being in a mansion the whole time. It was also challenging, too. It had difficult enimies and difficult puzzles. Like the theme too. 2. Like I said with number 4, it was too short. It was epic while creepy at the same time. Also, love the 4-phase final boss. 1. I like the references to the three Oot dungeons in this dungeon( as you said). The puzzles make me remind me that I am in a prison. I also love the boss and item of this dungeon.Overall, great ranking, guys

My individual rant here goes to the City in the Sky. Oocoo are annoying as all hell (I don't even want to save them honestly), as cool as a Clawshot is, getting another is boring, I feel like I'm just using the double clawshots on things 24/7, enemies are dull, rooms aren't particularly exciting aside the ones around the Wolf Link area, the wind is annoying after awhile... a lot of cons for me. The boss feels like the only saving grace for me for this dungeon, especially with such stiff competition from the other three "mirror shard" dungeons before it being much better

I wouldn't have put the city in the sky so high. I actually didn't mind the Oocca, but the dungeon was plain annoying, and I just didn't feel like it was worth the effort. It had some cool puzzles, but could get tedious sometimes, especially if you missed the boss key on your first time through that area and had to backtrack even if you had completed the rest of the dungeon. It didn't have as much personal drive since the only thing that was really at risk was the Oocca, so going through it got annoying, and I wasn't as determined to complete it.

    9. Goron Mines (cool concept, but poorly executed because you go really slow with the iron boots. Also, its linear, which I usually don't like, which unlike the Shadow Temple which was also extremely linear, there isn't an awesome atmosphere to make up for it, in my opinion). 8. Hyrule Castle (fairly good final dungeon). 7. Palace of Twilight (I used to hate, but I realized it actually provides a good challenge, and Zant is an awesome boss fight). 6. Lakebed Temple (a bit bland, but it's still a great water dungeon). 5. Temple of Time (the concept is incredibely cool and executed well). 4. Arbiter's Grounds (good environment, mediocre puzzles, and the spinner was SOOOOO much fun). 3. City in the Sky (the environment, that's the only reason I like it, but that's enough for it to almost make my top ten 3D Zelda dungeons. 2. Snowpeak Ruins (really unique, both in terms of environment and progression. I really like this place). 1. Forest Temple (pretty unpopular opinion. This is better than the Forest Temple in Ocarina. It's really nonlinear, the gale boomerang is fun, and I love the jungle setting. One or the highlights of Twilight Princess, and it's right at tthe beginning).

      9. It was somewhat atmospheric, but the music was pretty forgettable to me. Otherwise, I really enjoy this dungeon.
      8. I think this one's a great final dungeon!
      7. So many people dislike this one, so we're not surprised :P
      6. This is one of my most liked water dungeons, to be honest.
      5. It's a cool dungeon. Nothing spectacular, but cool.
      4. Aw, only 4th? This one is our absolute most favorite!
      3. Glad to see you like this one this much. It's somewhat underrated, in our opinion.
      2. Yes, this definitely deserves its spot. Fantastic and unique dungeon.
      1. This is surprising. It's not a bad dungeon at all, but rarely do we ever see anyone rank it in the top half. Glad you like it this much, but we HIGHLY disagree with it being better than the Forest Temple in OoT xD

my list would have to be:
    9. City in the Sky: I just found this dungeon to be slow and boring. I hated the music too. However, I agree with you that all of these dungeons are good dungeons, but there has to be a bottom one.
    8. Temple of Time: It's a little too linear for my taste (with the exact backtracking and all)
    7. Lakebed Temple: Definitely the best water dungeon by far.
    6. Palace of Twilight: Also a bit too linear, however, I did like the challenge the Zant Hands gave. They spooked me when I was young (and still kinda do o.o)
    5. Hyrule Castle: A little short, but I loved the atmosphere and the build-up. The music is amazing.
    4. Forest Temple: Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why I love this temple so much other than the fact that It's an amazing first dungeon and I do really like the monkey mechanic.
    3. Snowpeak Ruins: I love the mansion layout of the dungeon. It really adds variety. Different room settings are very interesting.
    2. Goron Mines: Just gotta say that I love hanging upside down and using the bow. I also really liked the music for this dungeon as well, along with having to find the three key pieces.
    1. Arbiter's Grounds: Basically everything you said. Spinner for the win!

As one whose beat this game twice on the Wii, once with a normal playthrough and another on a 3 heart run, my personsl list would be this.
    9. City in the Sky (7.4/10) This temple to me was average. My main problems the constant waiting, the mini boss, and the boss itself. The mini boss could of been more to me, and the boss itself to ME was okay. The best thing about this temple/dungeon is the second clawshot you get.
    8. Lakebed Temple. (7.8/10)
While this temple was good, there are better to me. The puzzles were actually good in some places and the mini boss was fun. I did however find Morpheel quite boring. (Also you do get the clawshot)
    7. Twilight Realm (8/10)
Believe it or not, Zant is one of my favorite bosses. Is he easy? Well yes, but the theme of where we fight him makes this boss so fun. Also, the puzzles and were you find the boss key was quite enjoyable. The only main reason this is above Lakebed and City in the Sky is because of Zant.
    6. Goron Mines (8.3/10)
I absolutely adore this dungeons mini boss, and to make things even better is that you get the Bow. I loved the mechanics that the iron boots had to be used in this dungeon and the only problem I have with this place was the boss. Kinda easy.
    5. Forest Temple (8.7/10)
as the first temple in the game, Nintendo sure did this right. A lot of things about this temple just makes me love it. The way you have to use the bomb-bugs to get past certain enemies, and the inclusion of the way you have to save the monkeys to help you progress throughout. The main thing I love though is the mini boss and item. The gale boomerang is just a really awesome item in my opinion, and the boss was also quite fun even though he was laughably easy (but what can you expect from a first boss?)
    4. Temple of Time (9/10)
Wow, this was just a outstanding experience. The way you use the Dominion Rod to control statues and use them to your advantage. The setting was beautiful, and then all of a sudden the boss is just a dark spider with a eye on it's back. Sounds generic, right? Not really, when it shoots freaking lazer beams at you and spawns its children to get you. Also, the way you defeat this boss is unique to me, shooting its eye with a arrow and this using the Dominion Rod to activate a huge statue to crash its fist into it was really fun.
    3. Arbiters Ground (9.6/10)
This temple is one of the few that actually feels like a temple. The eerie music with a creepy enemies, etc. The way you had to go from human to wolf Link get the poes was clever, the mini boss is one of the best in the Zelda series and the boss itself was just wow. My main problem with this temple was the Spinner. Now before you attack me its only useful in certain places, if itd go faster in places such as Hyrule Feild and didn't make a complete stop after 10 seconds I'd love this item.
    2. Hyrule Castle (9.9/10)
Oh boy, here we are. Hyrule Castle. As the final dungeon of this game, it was breathtaking. Having to fight King Bulblin for a final time, and having to fight various enemies here and there. This final dungeon also includes you to use most if not all the items you've obtained through you're journey through Hyrule. And then boom, my second favorite final Zelda boss of all time, Ganondorf. (Number one is Demise from SS)
First fighting his puppet, then his beast form, then chasing him on horseback having Zelda shoot him with light arrows. Then the big one. The big one on one showdown between Link and Ganondor. Man on man. Just breathtaking. But this next one is better to me.
    1. Snowpeak Ruins (10/10)
This dungeon did everything right to me. The item you got was fun and useful. The mini boss was challenging, the animes spread out were creative and unique. I loved how you went place to place trying to find a key and you run into soup ingredients. I liked how Nintendo replaced the "Big Key" with the "Bedroom Key". And while the boss fight being one of my favorite bosses ever (fight me) this dungeon is just amazing.
It may if seemed I gave Hyrule Castle more love then Snowpeak, then, oops? These are my opinions. So don't try to murder me if don't agree.

Every dungeon in this game is fantastic and unique in its own way, but here's my list anyway.
    9. Temple of Time. Cool looking dungeon but I can't say the same about the puzzles and the straightforward path you must follow. The miniboss was great, though.
    8. City in the Sky. Annoying music, great environment, amazing boss, but at the end it's still tedious to get through.
    7. Palace of Twilight. Zant's hands.
    6. Lakebed Temple. Way better than the Water Temple, great puzzles and cool enemies. But the boss could have been a little bit harder.
    5. Sowpeak Ruins. I really love dungeons that involve snowy environments, the boss was stupendous, the music accurate and the enemies hard enough to get rid of. Also, Yeta and Yeto are the cutest.
    4. Forest Temple. A very well designed dungeon, it gives you this little hint of nostalgia for some reason, accurate enemies for a place like that, little monkeys, great way to start to actually feel the game, funny miniboss and excellent atmosphere.
    3. Goron Mines. The funny thing here is that the miniboss was actually harder than the boss itself. Great dungeon design (it can be a little bit confusing on your first play through) good enemies, and it gets some extra points for mixing water and lava on the same place.
    2. Hyrule Castle. Excellent music! It gives you this 'I'm so badass' feeling while climbing up the stairs to meet the final boss. Challenging enemies and simple but well designed puzzles. The fight againts King Bulblin and the ghostly figures were a nice touch by the way.
    1. Arbiter's Grounds. Do I have to say more?

And about the dungeons, we just don't get the same feeling from those dungeons as with many others. They feel too similar. Yeah, that moment really puzzled me. I had no idea what to do back then xD Well, I only went the length to just turn the game off and turn it back on to try again :P Glad I realized what happened before I had to start a new save file or anything xD

Right now, as I have posted this comment, I have not yet fully completed twilight princess, but I have gotten to the palace of twilight, and since I just really want to get my opinion out there, here are my top 7 dungeons, from worst to best.
    7. Snowpeak Ruins: I know that picking a dungeon like this which many people love would come off as jarring, but for me, there is one MAJOR thing that utterly ruins it for me, that stupid ice block puzzle. The one where you have to get the blocks on ice on the switches. It took me close to 30 minutes to beating that puzzle, and everything else about the dungeon was just bleh for me. The puzzles, the enemies, just nothing stood out to me. The item was ''cool'' though, and the boss was fine enough.
    6. Goron mines: Also seems weird putting a dungeon like this so low, but for me, it suffers from the same problems as the snowpeak ruins. Bland enemies, boring puzzles, bleak environment, a boss that, while super cool looking, was just way too easy, but unlike snowpeak ruins, there wasn't a puzzle that drove me crazy. The bow was an awesome weapon, and the iron boots were put to good use, too.
    5. Forest Temple: As with many people, I feel this is the best first dungeon in a 3d zelda game, as I've only played those. The puzzles were very easy, as expected for a first dungeon, and the boss was pretty terrible, but that's where the negatives end for me. The temple itself looks amazing! I love how natural everything looks; it doesn't look like a place built from the ground up to be a temple, for me, it legitimately looks a place that was naturally made over hundreds of years. Not only that, the enemies were fun to fight, the gale boomerang was an ok item, and helping the monkeys was rather fun.
    4. Temple of Time: There is one major reason why the Temple of Time places pretty high on my list: entering it for the first time. I don't mean the dungeon itself, I mean the actual Temple of Time. Everything was so holy, so pretty, so stunning to look at, and that music, dear lord, that MUSIC. It's the most magical piece of music I've ever heard in a zelda game, not that that's saying much, as I've only played twilight princess, skyward sword and wind waker, but still. I still come back to that place just to listen to that music and think over what a journey I've been through, it means THAT much to me, but the dungeon itself? Pretty good. It looks holy, as expected, the enemies were very fun to fight, fighting the darknut as a miniboss was so much fun, and using the dominion rod to move that big statue and smash everything up was great fun. The puzzles, I will admit, weren't very thought out, and the boss could've been better.
    3. Lakebed Temple: Water dungeons in zelda get so much flak for being confusing and boring, but this water temple has to be the best one, not counting the ancient cistern. I like the dungeons look, it just looks very, how do I describe it, water like. There's seaweed growing on the walls, all the enemies are very ocean like, and the dungeon itself looks like all the water has deteriorated the look, but in a good way. The puzzles were fun to figure out, the clawshot was an awesome item, and it wasn't that confusing, at least for me. The boss, while very cool looking, like fyrus, was way too easy.
    2. City in the Sky: This is the dungeon I JUST completed, and I can firmly say it's my second favorite in the whole game. It feels very unique for a dungeon, being very high up in the sky, and it can give you that feeling that you're going to fall when you're close to a ledge. Also, having the boss actually show itself and hinder your progress, like you said, did make it feel like there was a force working against you. Getting another clawshot provided some very fun, and also pretty complicated and frustrating puzzles. I got stuck on the last puzzle to make the fan start blowing to get to the boss area for almost 40 minutes, but unlike that accursed ICE BLOCK PUZZLE, it felt so satisfying to figure it out. Using the double clawshots to hook from one point to the next made me feel like spider-man! One last thing, the boss, while cool looking and putting up a very fun fight, had its sound effects and music copy pasted from the morpheel boss, which felt very lazy.
    1. Arbiter's Grounds: Yes, it is predictable, but I adore this dungeon, just like everyone else. For starters, having a backstory behind it, housing Hyrules worst criminals gives it a pretty scary atmosphere. And the dungeon itself? Personally, the best looking dungeon in the game to me. It looks like something ripped straight out of Indiana Jones, and I LOVE IT!! I feel like I'm discovering an ancient ruin that no one has seen for hundreds of years. And because it's been abandoned for so long, all the enemies you fight there are dead, like the redeads, stalfos, and poes. The only enemies there that are not dead are the scarabs, very few rats, and those sandworms. The puzzles here are also a joy to figure out, having a whole bunch of ''Oh yeah, solved that puzzle!!'' feelings, rather than a ''Oh, solved it.'' The spinner was put to great use in the dungeon, and the boss, while not my favorite, (that would be Argorok as of this comment), is definitely my second favorite boss. Knocking it's spine down, then riding on the cylindrical structure to hit its head is an exhilarating experience!
So yeah, I know I probably said way more about each dungeon than was necessary, but I really feel like I need to get my thoughts out there. By the way, about you guys. You guys have a great channel here! It's cool how you respond to as many comments as you can, something 95% of youtubers barely do, and your videos are very rewatchable. Definitely subscribing!

Wario's loyal follower 3421 7. Aw, too bad that puzzle ruined it for you. Your opinion might be unpopular, but not everyone can have the same, so that's fine :) but yeah, if you didn't like the rest of the dungeon either, then we can't really argue your placement at all.
      6. Oh yeah, the boss was freaking awesome looking, but waaaaaaay too easy. It's great that you liked the use of the Iron Boots, though, because that was one of, if not the unique thing the dungeon had.
      5. You're right, everything really felt natural. The monkeys were such a weird, but fun addition to the dungeon.
      4. It's fantastic that you loved entering the temple as well! But what we find kind of weird now is that you loved it so much without playing Ocarina of Time. I don't know if you've seen it or not, but the Temple of Time is a place there, and the music that played in the Twilight Princess version is the exact same! No remix or anything, the exact same music. That's the biggest reason why we love it. As mentioned in the video, we didn't find it as holy as we'd hope, but it was still pretty inside. Yes, the puzzles and boss could have been better.
      3. Ah, it's great to see another one give this dungeon so much credit. It's still kinda sad that we ranked it as low as we did, because we find nothing wrong with this dungeon. You gave off a great description of it, and the puzzles were somewhat confusing, but not frustratingly. We agree about the boss.
      2. Yeah, that touch with the boss was fantastic! Instead of just having some random monster appear at the end, you actually get to see it, and it even tries to ruin everything for you before you even get to fight it. Hah, it's great that you found satisfaction in the end :) The double Clawshot is such an awesome item, and it's so much fun to use. The bosses in Zelda tend to have the same music from time to time, but do they also have the same sound effects? We haven't noticed that. Good observation!
      1. Can't blame you, because this dungeon is just as amazing as you say it is. Well, in our opinion, anyway :p Everything about it is great, and your description of it is perfect. We agree with everything you say here!
Don't worry about that! It's more time consuming, but always worth reading :) Thank you so, so much! We what we can to discuss the topics and be social with our viewers, and it's extra nice when we get very kind comments like yours! TheOwnersOfTriforce To be honest, I do feel that I over exaggerated during the Temple of Time segment. First of all, yes, I am well aware that the Temple of Time was also in Ocarina of Time, (which is the next zelda game I'm going to pick up before the end of summer) but I wasn't aware that the music was the exact same, so my apologies. I still really like the music though. And when I look at the actual temple again, it's not SUPER holy looking, like I originally thought, but I do think it's the cleanest looking and most well put together. So there. It's been biting at me for a while now, so I'm happy to get it out.
And now that I've beaten Twilight Princess, I think it's fair to show how I would rank the last two.
At number 7, with Snowpeak Ruins and Goron Mines placed at 9 and 8, respectively, is the Palace of Twilight. Yeah, I've heard of all the hate for this place, so I tried to go into this place with a fresh mindset, but even then, I couldn't find much redeeming value for this place. The atmosphere was through the roof, getting the sols from the zant hands was actually a lot of fun for me, and my favorite part of the dungeon, not counting the incredible boss fight with zant, which has overtaken my previous favorite boss Arogorok as favorite boss in the game for being super fun while also topping off a great villain, but everything else about the Palace of Twilight was just boring to me. The music, the enemies, I especially didn't like the last room where you had to wait to jump on all the levitating panels. That just felt like pointless filler to me.
And clocking in at number 4, with the Temple of Time getting the boot to number 5 is Hyrule Castle. I will admit, I'm a sucker for the combat in this game. Not just the fact that I went out of my way to get every single hidden skill in the game, but the enemies in Twilight Princess are just so much fun to fight to me. Half of that reason is just how well animated most of them are. special mention to the lizalfols with their jumping left and right constantly, the darknuts, whose heavy armor does look like it impedes their speed, and the redead knights when they're getting ready to hit you with their big swords. The reason why I'm talking about all this is that Hyrule Castle is very combat oriented, especially inside the castle, where they don't mind chucking a bunch of enemies that I love to fight, like the lizalfols, and especially darknuts. The fact that darknuts in this game are as rare as shiny pokemon only makes fighting them more engaging. I will admit, the puzzles aren't the best in the game, and the dungeon itself is really short, but fighting all those enemies is the very reason why Hyrule castle ranks this high to me. That and the atmosphere is the best in the whole game to me. The rain outside coupled with no music really makes you think what's going to happen. And when you do get inside, the music feels like it's echoing off the walls. It's so good!
So there you have it, my complete thoughts on all the dungeons in this game. From the three,(soon to be 4) zelda games I've played, this one has my favorite dungeons, by far! I hope Ocarina of Times' dungeons are as great as these ones!

    • @TheOwnersOfTriforce

Wario's loyal follower 3421 No need to apologize :) It's just that when we'd already played Ocarina of Time several times before, and heard all the music and such in that game, it's nice to hear remixes in Twilight Princess. However, the amazing thing was that that music still remained the same. I'll never forget the moment I first stepped through that portal.
The best thing about the Palace of Twilight, in our opinion, is the atmosphere, so I'm glad to hear that you liked that, at least :) too bad you didn't like the music as much, because I really love it. It's understandable what you think about the platforming here.
The combat in this game is freaking fantastic, and it's my favorite as well. The hidden skills are so awesome, and the game has so many great enemies to fight. The Lizalfos and Darknuts especially, like you mentioned. It's great to hear your thoughts on this dungeon as well, and it's great to see what you appreciate about it :)
Ocarina of Time has some dungeons you might dislike for a few reasons, but in our opinion, they're definitely in the top 3 when it comes to the games with best line ups of dungeons. Twilight Princess is definitely one of them, and Ocarina of Time has some amazing dungeons as well. Hope you'll enjoy them! :)

I agree with your point about about Snowpeak being bad because of the block puzzle, but for me, the thing I really hate about that dungeon are the enemies. I feel like they are just so annoying to fight as sometimes you have to fight several enemies at once and the ball and chain is kind of a slow item to use so it is hard to hit the big ice guys that shoot ice at you. Also, sometimes you have to fight some of the jerks on ice, and ice physics in most games are annoying and this game is no different. But probably the worst enemies are the ice guys with the ice spears. In the church room towards the end, you have to fight a whole bunch of them at once and I just get knocked around so easily, eventually I figured out that if you do a helm splitter they die instantly, but even then it is hard to pull the move off if you are constantly being attacked. All in all, the dungeon looks great, it has great music, and the boss is not my favorite, but is still fun. I just wish that some of the enemies were not as difficult to fight in this dungeon, then I would have liked it a lot more. (DAMN THOSE LITTLE ICE BASTARDS!!!)

Actually, you only need the clawshot and the boss key to get to the boss room without rasing the water level.shoot at the targets above the chandelier in the room and hang off the edge. Then drop down you will land on a slope but don't move you will just land on the level with the boss door.

TheOwnersOfTriforce yeah, sorry about that I found Arbiter's Grounds disappointing. But I just did. It had stuff I couldn't figure out at first, it had an okay but overrated mini-boss, it had a fun item, and it's also home to (brase yourselves for this) my least favorite boss in the entire series, Stallord. Oh also, I was stuck in this dungeon for days.😠 And don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic dungeon to the series, but the fact that how all of this that happened to me just made it deserve a low spot. (In my opinion though)

    9. Temple of Time (This is the only one I really can't stand. It's just too linear and I hate having to backtrack the EXACT same path. I think I would have liked it better if it had a different name though. Doesn't live up to expectations.)
    8. Forest Temple (This is only here because of the monkeys constantly making noise.)
7.Hyrule Castle (I prefer dungeons that have a better balance of combat and puzzles. Only thing I like about it is the final boss & atmosphere.)
    6. Lakebed Temple (In some ways I feel like this deserves to be higher because of how good the puzzles are but I just never seem to have that much fun playing through it.)
    5. Palace of Twilight (Pretty much mostly based on atmosphere, the hands are terrifying, and the Zant fight is pretty cool.)
    4. Goron Mines (It's not all that hard, but honestly it's just really fun to play through. Also, it's really creative, and I like the fact that you're focusing on two objects instead of one.)
    3. City In The Sky (Because of how great of an idea the double clawshot is. It's also tricky because of the size. Feels like the largest in the game)
    2. Snowpeak Ruins (There's nothing negative to say about it. This dungeon has everything anyone would want in a dungeon. It also feels innovative with the cannons, soup, ball & chain, ice puzzles, and the enemies are pretty difficult too.)
    1. Arbiter's Grounds (It's almost hard to pinpoint why it's better than Snowpeak to me. They're pretty evenly matched. The biggest reason it's higher is its atmosphere feels unmatched in the game. Also, I love that Stallord has an updated version of Volvagia/Dogongo's music. That extra touch that leaves you wondering what exactly it is a skeleton of puts it over the edge for me.)

Best dungeons in the series. But one exception...
    9. City in the Sky- Words can't describe how much I hate this dungeon.
    8. Hyrule Castle- Usually don't care for the final dungeons, but this one was okay.
    7. Goron Mines- The key being split into three was cool, but it was done in such a linear way there was no point in it! It was good otherwise.
    6. Arbitet's Grounds- While I liked this dungeon, I didn't like it NEARLY as much as everyone else did. The spinner was fun, but you get it so late Into the place, it's almost a waste.
    5. Palace of Twilight- This should have been the final dungeon! Had such a better feeling to it than Hyrule Castle.
    4. Forest Temple- Amazing first dungeon.
    3. Lakebed Temple- I still like water dungeons.
    2. Temple of Time- Usually I don't like linear dungeons, but I really liked going back with the statue to the beginning.
    1. Snowpeak Ruins- The idea of making the dungeon a mansion wad genius and so unique. The ball and chain was also a very fun item to use.

We did all of them in order of release dates :p But that's true, we didn't cover them as much. Partly because we didn't have video footage back then, and partly because we would have a harder time ranking them. I don't know exactly, but at least back then, we didn't feel like we'd do a good job in explaining exactly what makes some of the dungeons better than others in those games. Sure, some of them really stuck out, but to us, most of them felt really similar. They're not so different from each other as the dungeons in the 3D games. We're sorry, but that's how we put it... although, we are gonna make a top 10 2D dungeons list sometime in the future :) Hope that helps a little!

I personally wouldn't have placed Hyrule castle so Hugh on the list, because I just found it overall boring and easy compared to most of the other dungeons, and I think it's only memorable because it's the last one. I think I would have placed that one where you have lakebed temple and moved lakebed WAY higher. But that's just my own personal opinion. The list was great otherwise! Arbiters grounds is probably my favorite dungeon of all the Zelda games that I've played so far! :)
