Nov 28-'20~...(my morning is quite chaotic ....and it takes virtue to start functioning...)...Thank you again..and this was first thing that come to my mind when it comes to this connecting ...for those of us who discovered Martha's magazines....first you spot it among other prints ..than you browse decide to buy ...than you do it again next month...than it doesn't turn to be such regular activity ...you still didn't return to that with priority of all things you need on budget demands...your life continue in well known hurry from month to month obligations to be on time with your duties ...paying bills etc....than after twenty five years ...you face that you miss magazines you didn't purchase regularly...more than time of two decades of your own busy life with things you had to do mainly because you rarely had time for yourself or for sure not so much as you wished for..from all life obligation as it happened in my case ..especially after one slum Landlord disposed all of my Martha's magazines ...so that's s how I got my villa...majestic one....and that first thing that created well connected ambient ...upon arrival...was this ...........i placed one apple...into the available stir foam cup...next to the boxes of first yet unpacked personal things...simply to avoid placing the fruit on the floor..........it stood there few days....till I finally kicked the cup unaware it was close to me and apple rolled out.........while hesitating where to place it now more stably ...and using the fruit to juggle a bit ...with my movements always easy to be close to the point of the discomfort...apple surprised me while i hold it closer to the face with that intense aroma.....that wasn't there before that time of resting on the top of the cup.............and so my villa brightened that way to me .................in tonal of such wonderful scent......Thank You by by (to rise apple trees with parallel form one next to each other ...took another few years of day dreaming....)

Yeah she is the best indeed! I live in switzerland... im a huge fan! But here in Europe, we dont have luck... We dont have her shows on TV; "Martha Bakes", Martha Cooking School etc..
What is it about a Martha program, especially full length ones, and baking .... that satisfies me so? I believe it's a soothing quality-- not unlike enjoying an episode of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. It's a short escape from reality that's pleasant-- even if I don't do the recipes or make an oil landscape. Happy to find this on UA-cam. It's not a common thing to stumble upon a complete episode of Ms. Stewart's baking series on UA-cam; I've only seen one or two now and then, and sometimes they vanish after a while.

Thank you Martha for showing us how easy it is to make puff pastry. I always wondered how to make it, I prefer to make everything from scratch when I can but thought it was too difficult. Not difficult- just a time consuming. I will definitely be trying some of these recipes.

Puff pastry is so versatile, I make it every now and then (I find it does not agree with my stomach, so it's a treat). I prefer napoleons with only whipped cream, as I find creme anglaise gives an eggy flavour for such a delicate dessert. King's cake it's the best, I've made this year.
This video is fascinating! I never knew how much work is involved in marking puff pastry. The cheese sticks look awesome. Here in South Florida I love eating Pastelitos, lots of layers of pastry filled with guava, cream cheese or sometimes both. They vary the shape depending on the type of filling.

Currently 25%+ of the US population can't eat Hard Red Wheat (which is grown widely in the US and Canada) but we can eat Soft White Wheat which is grown in Europe. There are some major genetic differences in these two types of wheat that allow those of us who are wheat sensitive to consume the European Soft White Wheat without the bad effects on our bodies that the Hard Red Wheat causes. **(Does not apply to Celiacs because they're allergic to ALL wheat gluten and can't eat the Soft White Wheat either). We buy Jovial Einkorn All Purpose Flour and it's been quite excellent for baking. Please explore this ancient wheat and help us to make amazing things with the Einkorn flour for those who have been deprived of wheat products and are still in love with baking? Thanks for letting us in on all of your tricks and tips in the kitchen.
