I'm not here cuz I'm gonna do this. I just like ya and wanna give a view cuz you deserve more popularity
Edit: typo
I love GeForce now, I cherry pick the months I pay for the $20 tier with newish games I want to play on my steam deck. Works surprisingly well connected to iPhone hotspot away from home.
Love these guides. Thanks
I have no idea how I've missed you for all these years man. And now that I watch your videos I hear your name everywhere. Thanks for the vids man
You should consider doing a video on setting up sunshine and moonlight for streaming.
There is a ducky loader plugin called moondeck that does all the moonlight setup for you
That is what I use since you have access to your desktop with Steam/Epic etc are usable, I wonder if this is worth installing if you already have Moonlight/Sunshine which is free and easy to install now, which wasn’t always the case imo.
Great video.
Great guide
Thorough guide. Well done.
It doesnt support Steam Deck's Sleep Mpde, does it?
Yes! You the mane
I dunno. I've seen bigger ones on other people
Been waiting for this since the deck came out. I use chrome but this has to be better.
@@TheScripflipNetwork I was joking around about his "mane" since you made a typo. I'll see myself out...
Hey, this video actually showed up in youtube search for me.
Can i know that your steamdeck oled limited editions is using BOE panel too ?
Thanks very much for the video as it helped me run Geforce Now on the Steam Deck, the good news is I now have Assetto Corsa running on the Steam Deck via Geforce Now, the bad news is the controls mostly don't work. I can't even accelerate never mind turn the steering wheel, can you explain in detail how to get the controller to work? Scratch that, I selected the gamepad, selected 'search' and typed in Geforce Now and got several options, Assetto is still a no so far but Doom is now working 👍
audio of cyberpunk is chopped 11:05. Could that be fixed?
I keep getting a Fraud Validation Error when trying to make the payment. Contacted customer support and was told to call my bank, I called my bank and they don’t see any transaction to be able to accept the payments and was told by the bank that it was an error with the merchant. Called NVIDIA and they couldn’t find anything to help out. Tried other cards and credit cards and still nothing. Is this a bug/glitch if so any fix on this???
i just run my big games on my pc and stream to my steam deck through Steam remote play for free
Thats a good way, albeit need internet connection 😂
I used to have geforce now i hadn't even considered using it on my deck😮
My Steam library is not showing up, but it shows I’m connected
But does HDR work on geforce with steam deck yet?
It does not. It’s limited by browser restrictions and currently browsers don’t have access to whether a screen is HDR or not. Same case with it being capped at 60hz even though the screen can go to 90

So, we can stream the games we already own at higher performance than installed on our deck. 😂
10,000 games! We’re not worthy!
Is this better than the GeForce NOW Electron app from the discovery app?
nope :( still stuck at browser settings so 60fps etc...
X cloud is so bad compared to GeForce now
Steam Link is so much better than streaming from any of these services. I never have hitches or stutters on my in home streaming setup. If you want to stream PC games build a nice in home streaming setup. I mostly play games this way on my RP3+. It’s actually a superior experience to playing on an x86 handheld for most games. Plus you don’t have to used a big clunky device that is the size of a 4090.
I use Steam Link with Steam Controller, mainly for FPS and Streategy games. For PC gamer who always preferred mouse over gamepad - this is absolutely awesome solution. Camera movement, precision is insane. (compared to analog stick)
The use case is completely different. Steam Link implies you have a decent rig at home to begin with. Steam Link IS great (though Sunshine / Moonlight performs better imo). But this serves a different purpose
@@hooky17 That’s fair. I doubt there are that many people who watch this channel that don’t have at least one high powered desktop or laptop. They probably have a PC, PS5, Switch and ten different handhelds like I do.
@@RETR0_P0CKET you’re probably right
Moonlight via Sunshine is much better than Steam Link.
GeForce now is cool if you live in the city.
It just doesn't work elsewhere.
Works ok for me on a mobile hotspot as long as there’s decent signal
Works well on anything and everywhere as long as you customize your streaming settings accordingly in the GFN app. Only strict requirement is the ping never being higher than 50.
@@hooky17 I'd argue outside of big cities & their suburbs the ping is too high and signal is too weak 🤷Only one carrier has okay coverage for my house
@@BananaBlooD9517 yeah again, dependant on the signal entirely. Has worked brilliant for me, even in pretty remote areas as long as I have pretty strong 5G. But you’re right will definitely differ for everyone
GeForce Now is better on Windows but this works.
Nvidia doesnt want to make a real app for Linux so they come up with this """""""solution"""""" for the lazy people that still dont know how to add GeForce now as a browser shortcut.
Nothing to do with Windows.
I hate game streaming
Then don’t use it 🤷♂️
Chrome! You mean spyware
What browser do you suggest instead? What makes chrome spyware?
@@lugami 1- any opensource 2- google is spaying company, read the ULA
Can always use Edge… oh wait
@@lugami it's owned by the spies of every country you cannot name or criticize, voldemort style
GeForce sucks. can even play your own game saves, and ONLY the games that GeForce has available.
Eh? You can play your own saves fine. And the limitation on games is down to the developers not GeForce. GeForce as a service is great
