Ironically, when we don’t love ourselves we actually become more selfish because we operate in a way in order to get those needs met-the need of acceptance, love, & security.” You are so worth extending grace to yourself! You are truly one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met! You’ll be in my prayers and I know God will wonders to your heart as you lean in closer to Him!

I know how hurtful you were about your brother passing. I remember the video when you said it how about how you brother took care of you, you missed that I know I heard that. I glad you getting yourself ready for your proper mate. Marriages are hard and a lot of work. I been there I was blessed with a good woman before I lost her for breast cancer. I know all about that stuff. But I just wanted to tell you I love Cape Town I had a great time there. Met some great peoples there. I going back again, and I going to Kenya Nairobi in the future. Thanks for letting me know about Cape Town in your Video. I saw some people walking around with the Twenty Hat in the Mall by VA waterfront. I went to old biscuit mill on the weekend it was pack full of black peoples having seem so many black woman in one spot like that. Everyone was so friendly. Peace.
I’m sorry for your loss as well. As yes I didn’t realize how much healing my heart still was needed from my brother’s passing and glad that God didn’t give up on helping me to heal! I’m soooooo glad you went to Cape Town! U make me feel like a true influencer lol. I can’t wait to go back! The people there are truly amazing! And they are very genuine, so I’m glad you were able to experience that as well!
@@sierralafaye Thanks sorry but that was over 10 years ago. I healed from that we had a good marriage but it lasted for only 8 years. The last three years when Brigitte got sick with breast cancer! It Just I had to start over again but I found I was looking for a woman like my wife did not find it. I know I cannot compare or measure on someone like her. Because all women are differ had to find out the hard way. I could had gotten marry again but I choose not too. Thanks I wanted to go to Africa for a long while but I kept on putting it off but yes your video inspired me too go. I love it I not trying to be funny I have not seen so many young black women in one place like that before. In my 2 weeks there I had a least could had chossing 10 African women, but I said to myself better be careful with that. The women are friendly they will give you good conversation and yes my American absent help they like my absent. I became good friend with a 16 year old high school senior which about to graduation and good to CPTU she help me find my hotel I got lost and she help me carry my groceries from Pick and Pay store.. She emailed still every week just to check on me. She asked me will I moved to Cape Town did not response to that but I gave a good answer to her I just gave her good advice she was too young for me I do not want to go down that direction. Finally Sierra Do you know that a Man in South Africa can have 4 wives as long as he can afford them, I did not know that? I know she not going to stop emailing me because Africa woman have that strong structure I do not mind. Thanks!

I have a close friend and I kid you not her name is also Sierra! We met years ago at a church we were both attending at the time. She is going through the same thing as far as being a young single woman with her career and ready for marriage. She is trusting in God for the right husband for her. Not easy when you're going to friends' weddings and stuff but I keep telling her this is patience and trust being worked in her. Don't step out of His will and make a mess of things. Anyway, I wanted to tell you a while ago you remind me of my friend. Nice, level-headed, and down to earth. I guess that's why I've followed you here on YT for as long as I have...I'm drawn to good, genuine people.❤
Yes! One of my go to scriptures reads “For God is not slow in keeping his promises as some understands slowness. But instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9 So sometimes we’re asking God for something and He wants to give it to us but if we’re not ready for it then He gives us time and helps us prepare to receive it so it doesn’t end up causing our destruction. I love how u have a good friend with my name too! I’m bias but it’s def one of the best names out there 😂 she seems like such an amazing person as do you because u generally attract who u are as well! Def continue to encourage her to lean into God because although she may feel like she’s ready for marriage and God wants to give her a husband, He may still be preparing her-He’s not slow in keeping His promises but instead patient with her. He loves her too much to want a premature relationship/marriage to cause her unnecessary pain and hurt. And as she leans closer into this truth she’ll be more at peace that God’s got her & her husband! And the desire to rush into a wrong relationship won’t be a struggle bc she’ll be confident that God stands outside of time meaning He can do anything at any time including linking her with the right spouse at the perfect time!
