I have two of the same saw rigs like yours with one permanently mounted on the rear of one of my 12 HP Rader Wheel Horse tractors and will be mounting the other on a WH C160. I once owned a Farmall A tractor with a much larger saw rig and it wasn't easy to mount and your tractor would be tied up in use with the saw rig on it. I like these because they are more easy to get into the woods. I own 14 Wheel Horse tractors and most have implements or trailers that stay on them for use when needed.
Thanks, it cuts does okay. You can cut only stuff that is no bigger that what I was cutting in that video. I'm going to display it a local engine show, so i'm going to keep it original. If I was really going to use it. I would pull off that 2 1/4 hp engine and put on a 6 hp engine and cut big stuff.
I had a David Bradley just like yours. We lost it when Dad sold the farm. I loved running that equipment! And just for the record, who needs them sissy guards and shields? If you lose a finger, that'll learn you to be more careful next time.
I just got a Continental motor aa7, similar to what you have, and was wondering what your spark plug number is, mine didn't come with one. I also do suspect that my engine came off the David Bradley walk behind tractor it has a 5 to 1 gear reduction transmission bolted on to the engine too.
That is neat you know back in the forties that would of been the greatest thing considering that everyone used a old cross cut or buck saw! will you restore It I bet you would be able to get a set of rings for it and smarten it up!

That is a really neat setup! Good work on getting it up and running, take care!
A really sharp blade will lower power requirements from the old engine. I really like the setup.

I think I would bolt a bike fender on the motor side of that blade
Thanks for the video
Nice video. That thing looks crazy dangerous!
Thanks for the video. I have the saw but not the cord wood attachment. I also have instruction on how to sharpen and set the teeth..
