Seems like you don't understand how food works. First of all, the burger is not "fine". Second, it gets like that because the meat is thin, overcooked, and has very little moisture content. The patty dries out quickly and mold/bacteria cannot grow in dry foods. Go to the store and get ground beef. Overcook a 1/4lb patty until it reaches 190-200f. Drain the grease, and leave it on the counter for a few weeks. Same thing will happen.
Since the e. Coli is only on the onions, you only get the normal serving of e. Coli unfortunately. Maybe try asking for extra onions 🧅 and then you can get extra e. Coli

Some those problems include: expired milk, lettuce, and re-heating burgers with sink water so they can remain fresh. To this day, that same restaurant was demolished and a new one was built with new staff. Nowadays, I eat at Five Guys because their food is always fresh.
Good they got taken down cause that's not how we do it where I work, like the lady warming up the mop over the fry area, there was no need for whatever she was doing 😅

But once it got out they were buying cheap produce from countries that had no issues using human waste as fertilizer which lead to the contamination nobody went back.
