If a company has had that many recalls then how are they still in business ?. Our Government isn't doing there job and not protecting our food supplies. The FDA needs a major overhaul.
Of course lawyers are crawing out from under their rocks to sue...no doubt telling their "clients" how they are going to get millions, and will be able to live on easy street, when the "clients" are just a means to an end, If it was about damage to a client, and the mouth-pieces had integrity, they would sue the offending party...Taylor Farms. They supplied the tainted onions. McDonald's did not know, however they are bigger...bigger pay days, and more "greed money" Interesting side note...Taylor Farms supplied tainted onions to McDonald's right after President Trump's visit to a McDonald's...not a coincidence. Taylor Farms is left, and participates in DEI...
@@jayhadcock8767they're talking about Taylor Farms. Do you eat at Taylor Farms? This will happen at any restaurant that buys their product, not just McDonald's.
Cooking from scratch in the comfort of my own clean kitchen with my own homegrown food has never been more appealing than now. The McDonald's employees were handling food without gloves. That is how E. coli is transferred. Processing any food in a factory is the another way. Don't get me started on "bagged salads" and bleached "baby" carrots. Blech!
McDonald's didn't grow the onions. They really aren't liable unless the previous problems with Taylor farms prove they were an unsafe supplier. Of course, if they're cheaper, that's at least one of the reasons they were selected by McDonald's.
I’ll be honest, when I think of E. coli, I think of meat. The quarter pounder is the only hamburger on the menu that comes in fresh not frozen. It would never surprise me if the meats to blame. But I guess McDonald’s is pretty certain it’s the onions. 🤔
In a case like this, tests are preformed on each item, and track it back to the source. E-coli exists in the bowels normally, so the easiest way to contaminate anything is poop, not wash your hands, and touch stuff, or have some poop on your hands. Humans are gross creatures. E-coli can be used as an easy cheep bioweapon as well, and has been.
I think they also mentioned the oinions are used in other McDonald menu but Quarter pounder is the only one impacted. More likely the meat than the oinions.
I wouldn’t necessarily blame McDonald’s, Taylor Farms is a Huge Produce Company, and it was their onions 😬

Layered incompetence is intent.
Corporations triumph over Government as usual.
It just shows how unsafe are food supply is

Good work! Much appreciated!
You would think that in 2024 companies would know to wash their produce as 💩is common.

Taylor Farms at fault, not McDonald's.
Harris did it she made onions cry 😭 Then they started molding 😂😂😂
E coli in onions & beef. Listeria in waffles, chicken & beef, people going without fast food 🙄
Taylor Farms is the same company that just had several milllions $$$$$$$ embezzled by employees???
