Hi Karen. Thanks for your kind comment. Glad you and your twins are enjoying my videos on the Singer 9960. It's such a great machine. Not sure why you had problems trying to support my efforts. Hope you try again when it's convenient. I appreciate the support so much! I received notice that you started following.
Thank you for this great video. I really like to make small projects. Also Roxanne I have watched and rewatched your videos many times over the years . I really like the new camera ans setup.
@Georgina Holt you can program the 9960 to leave the needle up or down. The button above the reverse is a button with a tortoise and an up & down arrow, press it when you start sewing then when you stop the needle will be in the down position.
Hi Georgina, the machine can be set to leave the needle up, but as soon as you power down the machine, it will reset to default. You mentioned programming the machine to leave the needle up, which the machine can't do. Hope this is clear now.
Hello. As an owner of the 9960 your "how to" videos have been splendid, Thank you. I have one question. I always thought that you could program the machine to leave the needle either in an up or down position when it's stopped. Is that correct, or did I imagine it? Can't find anything in the manual regarding my question. Would be grateful if you could enlighten me. Georgina, from Wales, UK.
It's a good video but if I was using a directional fabric I would have cut the top layer in two ( with the seam on top). This way your cover will have the flamingos right side up on both sides.
My machine's back is to the wall, so it's not really necessary to worry about the direction of the print. You may choose to do yours that way if you like though.
Hi donna. I try to get to the point and not waste anyone's time. On my newer videos, I included time intervals in the description box so you can watch the content you want and skip the rest. :-)

Thank you for your reply. It's a very useful feature to use when I'm doing free motion embroidery. At least it proves I'm not imagining things!🤔

Hi Georgina. So glad you've found my videos helpful. I don't think the machine has that feature.

Like this you give actual measurements with out telling the history of things some you have to hear their life history lol
