This is the 8th brother and no he did not survive he was brought back by night sister magic just like we have seen done in rebels, Jedi fallen order and the clone wars multiple times. And if your counter argument is that he has the inaccurate amount of fingers just look at the pikes in the book of boba fett they are a totally different body shape with five fingers and little to no attention to detail. The inquisitors armour is almost the exact same thing and the little differences and changes can also be found in the 5th brother from the kenobi show where he looks very different from his rebels counterpart so I definitely think that he is the 8th brother brought back to life using night sister magic witch also explains why he has no voice lines and just little grunts
Yes him and the plague doctor Maybe he is the one who die against maul Dont forget that we still dont know who give the shadow his new lightsaber Same has Ahsoka and the plague doctor
So indeed, Marrok was something of gas, magic or species inside a suit armor just like the Inquisitor from Tales of the Jedi, that also diflated like this.
@@IllIlNIllII In the Tales of the Sith or Empire? we see scene there a apparently Marok, the mysterious Inquisitior that faced Ahsoka in Tales of the Jedi and Morgan together. Lmao good call. People hyping this character are cringe. This is why I’ve distanced myself from star wars at this point. Fan ideas tend to be a bit better but will never be used, I think people give Disney too much credit.
Thank goodness they don't use many of the fan ideas. Most are completely short-term thinking and hopes for their favorite character narrative. Disney employs some quality writers (even though they don't pay them enough). Fans would do better to sit back and enjoy the story they're being told. him and the plague doctor

Marrok was a spirit of a force wielder that was controlled by Morgan Elsbeths's Dathomir Magic to be her Assassin.

I thought he was one of those type of species!
There was too much character to his walking and movement to pull this zombie twist in the end.
I disagree, he wasnt confirmed to be fullly smoke, he might have been human, enchanced by nightsister magic like Savage for instance
Just want to point out that Marrok's casual standing pose looks very similar to how zombies stand around in other media that portray the undead.
It is unlikely he could throw the spinning Inquisitor staff. It would come around and hit you before it was far enough away. Spins too fast.
Im pretty sure he ducked under the spinning blade before it could take his head off.
saw it happen in rebels i think cant remember the episode

Their death was such a samurai style moment.
