Tony Blackburn's Golden Hour on BBC R2 bought me here. I had quite forgotten about this track but on hearing it again after many years, wow, hasn't this lady got a superb voice. Hadn't appreciated either how many tracks she sang backing vocals on. Thanks indeed.
She certainly had both looks and voice , it's baffling that she wasn't a HUGE chart regular , despite releasing very commercial sounding follow up singles and a couple of LPs too.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., the version of this that made the charts was Carol Douglas' (no relation to Carl of "Kung Fu Fighting" fame). Go figure.
