In this cinematic journey I take you on a thrilling ride through towering mountains, lush forests, and serene fjords as I try to capture the essence of a Nordic Motorcycle Adventure.
Me and my good friend @Braapncamp is joining the @OUTDURO Scout event and have time before the event to see what Norway and Sweden has to offer.

If you like these kind of long videos, consider watching my other long videos as well : ua-cam.com/video/f53DVwwAzaE/v-deo.html Thank you so much for the love and support. Much more to come in 2024 🙌🏻🔥 and here is the gpx file from this trip ➡ ko-fi.com/s/3ae63a9c5a it is not 100% accurate, but roughly this path I rode.
hi mr T super cool video. thx for sharing . have fun, stay safe greets from holland
@@megge015 Thank you so much 🤩 I tried to add Dutch subtitles, if you could check if they look good or are they completely off? 😂
It's good enough ;) We get what you are trying to say.@@tshansen
Another video that i watched without wanting to blink my eyes 🤩
Thank you so much sir. Really appreciate the nice feedback 🙌🏻
A benchmark video for real. Beautiful.
Ooohh… thank you so much Tjommi. Coming from you a take that as a huge compliment 🤌🏻🤩 you should have been there with us
Understatement of the year, “it’s been a poor summer with a lot of bad weather!” Thinking back to the climb up from Geiranger, negotiating the tour buses trying to come down to the ferry to offload their belly full of tourists, kamikaze campervans doing three point turns to get around the switchbacks and horizontal sleet pinging off our helmets. Yep, weather was fair to middling for a couple from a dry (flat) brown land 😂! But your recommended rating for sleeping bags was spot on!
Hahaha, I guess you did not have any luck with the weather. It was so intense for too many weeks this summer. Absolutely ruined my summer for sure. Glad you had good sleeping bags at least 🙈
August was challenging and there have been some tough moments riding in the cold rain, but so happy I didi it. You just have to make sure you can reward yourself with something nice at the end of the day or the very next day. Could be a hut 🛖 with heating, or a breakfast buffet on a Color Line ferry.
Let’s see how the weather will be in summer 2024……. 😅😊🎉
We had a great time Tjommi! Great companionship and we kill chilltime easily with jokes and deeper discussions. Heck, we need ro get ou there again Tjommi, also get Nomad Rob around the campfire 💪🤠🔥🍺🍺🍺 Like this long movie format better than the series, but series are nice too. Its so well made so You easily watch to the end.
Such a great time and so many great talks 😂 Thank you so much for this adventure Tjommi. Let’s make sure to do much more of this in the years to come. And yes, we need to get Rob with us as well. I really love these long format videos myself, but it seams like people want both by the looks of it.
@@tshansen For sure, i like both formats as well. But You my friend is in the very top league in these productions now. This will go rocketstyle 😁🙌
@@Braapncamp Well, I take that as a huge compliment and really appreciate it. You know who has inspired me and been with me every step of the way Tjommi. Forever grateful
i really enjoy a nice, quiet sunday morning with a fresh cappuccino, and watch your adventures with fantastic views and friendly face. Great stuff, thanks!
Thank you so much Jeroen 🙌🏻 That is a really nice compliment and appreciate you telling me. More of this when the season starts. Nothing beats the feeling of that first sip every morning 🤌🏻☕️
@@tshansen Sorry man, i was away! ;-) your video encouraged me to take a ride myself on my Husky 901 exp through the beautiful dutch landscapes for 2 hours before a family visit this afternoon. Keep ridin'!
Du er så dyktig med filmskaping Thomas at filmene blir ikke lange nok. :-) Liker veldig godt de lange filmene dine. Kudos!!!!!!!!!
Tusen takk for hyggelig tilbakemelding.
Nice. I love Scandinavia. My son wants to immigrate from South Africa to Norway. He is busy learning Norwegian language, so maybe one day if he is there I can go visit him and do some motorcycle touring and enjoy the breath-taking vistas. I would never have thought Norway and Sweden have so much mozzies (mosquitos as we call them here in South Africa). I always thought we had the most pests, besides Australia.
It is not normal for Norway and Sweden to have amount of mosquitos like this, but some years are just crazy. Really glad you enjoyed this mate. All the best to your son as well. 👏🏻
Australia has not got lots of mozzies, but miriads of flies.
What a great video.
Is that a world raid?
U even look cool making coffee haha.
Enjoy bud👍
Thank you Martin. Yes, this is the World Raid. Absolutely love that bike for my needs. Haha, just enjoying my daily morning coffee. Not a day without it 😂 Cheers mate, stay safe.
so inspiring to watch this video again, on a cold rainy February day in Denmark.
Come spring so roads and turns can be enjoyed in Denmark, Sweden and hopefully one day in Norway
Thank you so much Kim. I think February is without a doubt the hardest month every year. So cold, wet and miserable. I think i have to plan fro a trip down south every February from now on. Just a week in warmer climate is a game changer. I hope for an early season this year and many great small adventures as well. I will try to be much more consistent in just going for an overnighter with my tent at local spots i really enjoy. You should really plan for a trip up here. Only a short ferry ride away 🔥
@@tshansen i will try to do that , could also take the bridge and go via Sweden , only 690 km to Oslo 😉
@@kimkelberg Yeah, but those roads are dreadful, take the fast ferry to Kristiansand and save yourself the horror of to many miles of boring road. It is worth it.
Greetings from Estonia!
As Norway is my favourite destination for the past 6 years and i usually visit 4-5x per year and 1-2x of those on a bike from every summer to fall i always get a lot of great flashbacks from your videos. From the roadside restplaces, my hammock and the first coffee in the morning, it all brings a smile on my face, especially this video which had alot of the usual routes i drive through.
You have managed to capture all those amazing views in the perfect way.
Best travels for the upcoming season!
Thank you so much sir 🤩 Really makes me glad to hear you enjoy my videos and can get some flashbacks. That is a huge motivational factor for me to keep on doing this. Much more travels to come. Cheers
Greetings from Oregon brother Thomas i love your adventures you choose roads that ad to you trips well done! We ride to other states here you ride to other countries freaking awesome! I ride a 06 BMW r1200GS a little heavy at times loaded with gear i also camp and travel, its winter and cold and wet waiting for a break and off i go! at age 71 im very active and stay in shape and i love gravel roads! Be safe and GOD BLESS
Greetings back from winter Norway 👏🏻 Really nice to hear you enjoy my videos. I try to enjoy the exploring of new roads when I’m out riding. Just love to feel like a little adventurer when traveling. I just wish i could do it even more. Such a great thing to do for your health. Cheers mate, stay safe 🤩
This is the kind of video what I'm waiting for from this channel 😃👍🏻. I'm watching you from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Appreciate that. I really hope to make at least one or two videos like this every year. But it is hard to get around and travel more like i want to. But one day, 🤌🏻 Really cool to hear my videos has reached Saudi 🙏🏻 Incredible

this content deserves to have million views!
Thank you sir 🤩👏🏻 really glad you enjoyed this video 👏🏻
ahahah looking at the bit where you cook the pasta I had chills but I could almost forgive you, but the onion and pesto without having warmed it up... ahhahaha it's a dish that screams revenge!
But other than that the video is really good, despite the vicious mosquitoes! Note that I must mark for future trips to Sweden.... Liters of anti-mosquito lotion and make myself like a coffee that is not Italian espresso.
And a last little question which motorbike boots do you use for this trip, like adventouring or enduro??
Hahaha, thank you mate. this made me laugh so hard 😂👏🏻 I’m walking on a thin line here. 😇 But i can’t promise not to do it again 😂 I have the SIDI Adventure 2 boots. My second pair of these boots now. Absolutely love them
Good trails, good company and a good meal keep us happy, Thomas. Have a great New Year, Günter/Nürnberg
Thank you so much Günter. This trip did something with me for sure. Being a solo rider for so long, makes me rethink some of the stuff I do. I may include more of this in the future. Without a doubt. Great New Year to you as well. Hope I'm lucky to meet you this year. Cheers
@@tshansen I prefer riding in small groups, but also do a lot of single days on my own. You're always welcome in Nürnberg, Thomas. Or we meet somewhere else on your way down south. Cheers, Günter
Bacon toothpaste 😂 That's something I would do...
Hahaha, highly vote against that 😂
Excellent video Thomas, good to see Mattias too 👍 Cheers Steve
Great to hear that Steve 👏🏻 Really glad you enjoyed it. Let’s make sure Mattis will make it to more productions in the future 🔥🥳
Hi good day I want to say you’re making very very beautiful videos. I’m enjoying watching keep up the good work. Thank you very much.🎉❤
Hello mate, thank you so much for letting me know. I truly appreciate that, and I'm really happy joy enjoy my creative outlets. Much more of this to come 🔥🎥

Tak!
wow…. thank you so much Allan 🤩🙏🏻 that is so incredible nice of you. Really appreciate the support.
brilliant trip and great video as always
Thank you Uncle 🔥🙌🏻
Everytime i watch your videos i want a cup of coffee! Great videos, beautifully made. As a non biker you've inspired me to look into biking. Keep up the good work!
Hahaha, coffee is the one guarantee every morning of a good day. At lest right after your first sip. 😇 That is probably one of the best compliments I have ever gotten. Inspire a non biker to look at bikes.... thank you 🤩🤌🏻
Great video and adventure!, I like the way you do fresh coffee everyday, thats great. And as for your chain adjustment at 38:20, well thats another league! so simple. Great footage and some help for my Norway trip planning.
Thank you so much, really glad you liked it 🤩 Fresh coffee every morning is my little luxury thing, and you kinda set the mood for the rest of the day 👏🏻 Love it. The trail jack stand is a must have. Cheers
After watching your motorbike adventure, I'm thinking of renaming my videos to 'Attempts at Being Half as Awesome as tshansen.' Really inspiring your lovely journeys! And still you manage passing on some tips and tricks for moto camping… ❤️ 👏
Hahaha, that is such a great compliment. But just look back at where I started, it not much to talk about. The main thing is to keep learning, putting out videos you like yourself and become better for every productions. I have done this for 5 years now, and I'm still learning every day. Really glad you enjoy my adventures. I try to keep them as honest and inspiring as possible. Keep on riding and adventuring. Cheers 🍻
Hi. Greetings from Estonia.
Nice video.
I had a trip with a car and camper-trailer to Norway last summer.
Stayed in few campsites wich you have visited in the previous videos. So your videos is really helpful for me and I think for others subs too.
Next I summer plan to visit Norway with my bike.
Good luck!
Greetings Alex, so nice to hear my videos inspired you to stay at some of the same campsites. That is great 🔥 Norway is really nice to ride with a bike, you don't need to be scared of meeting other traffic on the narrow roads 🤌🏻 Hope you will be lucky with the weather up here. Cheers ☕️
Love this!
🤩🙏🏻 Thank you sir
I love your videos, I also go out occasionally on my motorcycle and when I watch your videos I feel more like going out for a ride, the truth is that it would be great to see more of your videos more often, even if sometimes you don't go out on such long trips But if they were more frequent, it would be great, I send you greetings from Mexico, happy routes...
Thank you sir, appreciate the great feedback. I try to get out and travel as much as I can, but I rather make quality over quantity. And with winter 4 months every year up north. It is really hard to make motorcycle content. But that is about to change. Warmer weather is on the horizon and I will see how I can manage to keep up the pace of posting new videos. Cheers
31:30 🇮🇹 We’ll let it go this time!!
Hahaha, thank you.... I can't promise that it will not heppen again🤣🙌🏻
Thanks tshansen for another amazing video!!!!👍🏻✌️👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋
You are welcome mate 🤩 Really glad you enjoyed it 🙌🏻

Unbelievable tripe...... fantastic. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you Derek. Really glad you enjoyed this one. Much more to come in the upcoming months 🤩
Amazing video
Thank you Ramiro 🤩 Glad you liked it 🎥
Brilliant film, really well done and perfect use of the drone. One of my Italian friends sent the link and now wants to ride in Norway. Even the mosquito roulette doesn't put her off. Maybe I'll ride over from the UK and accompany her.
Thank you sir, really appreciate it! Norway is truly something else, even if you encounter large amount of mosquitos 🤪
Thanks for your video. Beautifully produced - really enjoyed it👍🍻😃

I should not have watched this. Now spring seems even further away.
Haha, guess we have it bad both of us. Damn I can't wait to start a new season and get out and do some motorcycle camping.

Fantastic Movie ...makes me homesick for places I've never been.
Haha, thank you so much for that compliment. Highly appreciated 🙌🏻
Takk for again sharing your ride. Looks Like great adventure. Agree, riding alone has a couple of pros. But w/ a buddy as well from time to time. I do both.
Traveling to Baltikum is on my list as well.
Looking forward your next km there.
Thank you 👏🏻🤩 Yeah, i think i will plan more events in the future, do more of both 🔥
I absolutely love your content! Thank You!
I bought my 1st moto camping tent from your referral.
Thank you sir, appreciate that and really cool to hear you got a tent from my referral. Hope you are satisfied with it. 👏🏻
I'm really enjoying your videos! I'm awaiting my own T7 extreme edition & just watched your WR review. I'm also tall at 198cm so found your comments on ergonomics very relevant 👍
First of all, Congrats on the new bike 🤩 Thant thing is so damn sexy. With that said, thank you so much for taking the time to watch my content. With your height i bet you will fit the Tenere perfect. I’m planing on doing a long time review of it after my 20.000km service in the next couple of months.
Great viewing for these cold winter nights 👍

happy to see you enjoying time on the bike. Hope to see you some time around mate :)
Last year was a terrible season for me, and the little time I got on the road was so damn good. I really can't wait for a new season and enjoy more of this. We will meet for sure, that is a promise from me 🙌🏻🔥

Haha, ja myggen er terror, men man overlever 😂 Hyggelig at du likte filmen
Härligt med Långfilmen.
Perfekt när man inte kan åka pga vintern.
Nu börjar längtan bli stor för att komma ut på vägarna. Bra jobbat återigen. Och hoppas vi ses efter vägarna nån mer gång. Keep up the good work. 👍😀
Mye mer 👌🏻
Great video! Thank you very much for sharing! It is a pity that only today I stumbled upon your channel.
Thank you so much, and really glad you liked it 🤩 Well, there is much more to come, so feel free to take a look at my older videos, and look forward to new adventures soon 🎥👏🏻
Super video. Trangia cooking awesome! god damn mosquitos :D
Thank you, yeah... I thought I should share one of mye favourite meals to make on the trangia. 🤌🏻 Those mosquitos was bugging me like crazy 😂
Good video, nice to see pavlin there too
Thank you, yes... Pavlin is a great guy a head such a pleasure of learning to know better. I hope to see more of him in the upcoming years.
Thank you for the video tshansen 👍 always interesting and nice to watch. I think I should come to your place for camping training 😜😉👍 you always do it so quickly and easily. Biker greetings from Germany 🖐 Ljubo.
You are welcome Ljubo 🤩 Haha, I should consider making ADV course where you can come and camp, learn the basics and have a great time around a bonfire 🔥🤌🏻
I also did norway-latvia, but than with my van. I’d say in 20days of Norway I had maybe 1 day without rain. Not even sure
Hahaha, that is just so damn crazy. But this summer season was incredible poor regarding weather. It was so damn rainy and windy. I really hope that this years season will be better 🔥
True! Hope to for you!
Keep schredding!
really love your bike adventure, keep safety and ride caerfully , greet from indonesia
Thank you so much, 🙏🏻
Hello from Flanders in Belgium! Enjoying your videos alot. I am using them as part of the preparation to drive from Brevik to Nordkap and back with the moterycle this june!
Thank you so much. Really appreciate that. Going to the North Cape is something I really want to do myself this year, but since I have been there before I really want to go up there when the weather would be nice. Cheers
Much Enjoyment 👍😎
Thank you, glad you liked it mate 🙌🏻
This was a Epic show . Your weather did not do well in the summer lots of rain that's a good recipe to make tons of mosquitoes . I watch Runa in off she goes to and the bugs and weather were terrible too > That looked like so much fun you guys
Yeah, all that rain and flooding made the conditions perfect for mosquitos. But I never dreamed about it being this bad. Holy crap. But you learn every time 😆 We had a blast. Can't wait for our next adventure 🎥
Great! Happy new year from Brazil! :)
Thank you, and happy new year to you as well. I have added Portuguese subtitles, please let me know if they are way off 🙌🏻
Although I have seen every episode from you I find myself enjoying this film a lot, such beautiful cinematography and that t7 WR is just beautiful, I like that you have your luggage close to the bike, with this setup I guess the bike feels much more nimble, grate production 👍🏻
Ps Mora knives are the best😜
Thank you sir 🤩 Really appreciate you taking time, not only to watch every episode, but also see the full video as well. That is truly amazing. Thank you for that. Yeah, I’m really happy with softbags that sticks close to the bike. Well, i have been a huge moraknife fan for many years, i have a huge collection as well….but i think a Helle knife is best 🥳
Fantastic content as ever 👏. The changing views and angles of the camera with such painstaking editing. Truly amazing. Also thank you for leaving the slightly negative stuff in. It happens on trips. I was in Morocco last year and it happened there of all places 🤷🤯. It helps to let us know this can happen wherever you are and it's just part of being human. 👏 Well done mate.
Thank you so much Rob 🙌🏻 Capture all those angles and build a visual story as part of the fun for me. So inspiring when people enjoy to watch it too! 👏🏻 Yeah, I get a lot of questions about this, and I see an ever growing trend online about depression and emotions. It looks like we are not allowed to have a bad day or negative thoughts without a diagnosis these days. So leaving it in the videos is my way of telling people that it is perfectly fine to have a great trip with bad days. It is all part of the game. Maybe we should do it even more. Thank you for the great comment. Stay safe mate 🔥
Look up carnivore diet for mental health - works great for me!@@tshansen

Hello! Another awesome video, well done my friend!
May I ask.. About your drone shots. First of all, is it DJI Mini2 you have? I have the Mini2 and it has not got any "FollowMe" option, do you drive your bike AND fly it at the same time through your controller on your steering wheel bar?
Thank you for your time. Keep making these videos, I love them.
Hello mate, Thank you so much for the nice comment, appreciate that. In this video i used the Air 2 drone, the follow me function is not that great so i fly and ride at the same time. I have the controller mounted on my handlebars. Much more of this in the future. Cheers
hey -) tnx for a video. Last moment on video ar great :D pull up bike on whielie and burn campfire :D

Pavlin is there too
Yes 🤩👏🏻🎥
Bacon toothpaste was new for me. 😂
Hahaha, it's not recommended 🙈
Great video. What time of year was this filmed? Interesting about the insects.
Thank you mate 🙌🏻 This was filmed in the last week of September. So it was not normal to have so much bugs like this.
You must be tall I sat on the 2024 yamaha T7 the other day and felt like a ballerina on it. Was on my tip toes and for some reason the seat felt wide compared to my low R1250GSA
Haha, yeah... I'm 200cm tall, so you can say that I'm above average yes 😂
I love this. I'm only 17m in to the vid, but I wanted to thank you for putting in all this effort to share this with us. Quality is amazing.
I'm always 'jealous' whenever I see someone cooking a proper breakfast/lunch/dinner (snack :) ) during a trip. I tend to skip that to save time and the hassle. But I'm going to, to also relax and be more mindful. It's not about the number of km/miles. But... what do you do with the dirty dishes? 6minutes into the vid I do not see a lake where you can wash stuff. Do you just do it in a plastic bag and bring it along?
Thanks a lot!!
I'm really impressed to hear that these kind of videos can resonate with the younger audience. Always nice to hear that we get new recruits to the ADV community 👏🏻 Appreciate the nice words, glad you enjoyed it. When you start to learn how to take your time and enjoy the trip for more than the miles, it becomes so much more enjoyable. Most people rushing from A to B. In Norway or Scandinavia, most places you camp are close to water or a running water source. So I normally do my dishes in the river, the trangia equipment I have can be washed with gravel without scratching. And sometimes I just use bunch of wet wipes and put them in a bag and take it with me (leave no trace) to the nearest town where I trow it away. Cheers ☕️
@@tshansen Hmm... I don't think I fall in the categroy of younger audience... I'm 47 ;)
Perhaps you misread the 17 in my comment... I needed to stop watching when I was 17 minutes in your vid. I was doing indoor cycling training (low effort) and was watching your vid. Training was over, thus will continue soon. Wanted to make the compliment :)
regarding the dishes: I figured it would be something like day. Thanks
@@FlatTwinTherapy hahaha i did Get that wrong yes 😂👏🏻 Thank you for the compliment! Appreciate you taking the time! And if you have any other questions, feel free to Ask 👏🏻👏🏻🤩
