Thank you so much mate 🤩 Really glad you liked it. Was really nice to get some adventure time with Mattias again. What an amazing event, I really liked the “first aid moment”. But what happened with Mattias? First forget his passport and the forget to fuel up his bike? When you mentioned that you had to choose between mud and forest, I got a little concerned that you should let Mattias decide. As we all know he really has a love for mud. The deeper his or someone else’s bike is buried in the mud, the bigger smile on his face. I bet he is eager to get a picture of a T7 World Raid buried almost completely in a mudhole.
Haha, Tjommi had to go both ...but he didn't knew and thats great to get out of the comfortzone 😂🙌. About the fuel, i actually thought i should make it to the gasstation, it seems like i get less fuel in the 890 compared to the 790 or just that it take more fuel. I came late night to the camp and planned to fuel the morning after, not the first time i roll in to gasstation with gas light on... 👀😂. Not sure why i forgot the passport, i brought the bike papers at least. I blame it on that we could go with our drivers licenses earlier in the Nordic countries... Not the case eny more! You should go on this event Jonas, there was truly something for everyone.
@@Braapncamp That would be really fun 🤩. Oh so then you have a picture of Thomas T7 in the mud hole only the rear wheel above ground level 🤔 That one of the 890, this spring was the picture of 2023. 😂. You riding around on “street tires” trying to convince everyone to take the shortest track, telling them that you should have taken that route if it wasn’t for the “road tires”. 😂 Thomas wasn’t that easy to lure out in the mud pit. it was a little strange that you had, was it two litres left in the bike when you ride out of fuel. What’s the reason to have a 20 litres fuel tank if you only can use 18 off them🤔
@@JoonesAdventuresMCHaha, Johan, my local riding buddy lured himself into that mudhole or rather a creek, if he had made it, I hade never hesitated to follow with my streetires, but we for sure realized quickly that this passage wasn't possible, without an very undesired effort. I have filled up the earlier 790 with more... 👀🤠.
@@Braapncamp You can blame that car in front of you in that roundabout. If he had entered the roundabout when it was free the fuel had last exactly all the way to that pump. Now because he hesitated and waited a couple of seconds more, you ran out of fuel. It was calculated to stop just before the pump so you could roll in to the petrol station. It would have been a cool video. 😂 Looking at your video from the spring riding, you challenged those tires pretty good, but as you also said, they are riding on top of the surface rather than dig down to maintain grip, which was clearly shown by Johans bike 😂 I have tested the Mitas on wet grass, oh my gosh, no traction at all. On a muddy gravel road they perform maybe a tad better, but not very much. However for example the Dunlop Trailmax Raid offers about the same grip on mud and grass. You need a more aggressive thread pattern than what those “adventure touring” tires offers. They are gravel road tires not off-road tires. In dry weather they are probably good for a bit more advanced riding, but when it starts raining and the surface gets slippery you need your Motoz “excavators” Rallz 🤩
Thomas, I saw your other video about the DJI Osmo action 3. You mentioned the windslayer. Bought a windslayer as well. Was wondering about the color temperature sensor and melted a hole in it with a hot needle. Will use it this weekend 1st time. In this vid I saw you also made a hole in it, but more to the left (looking forward the lens). You have a Osmo 3 as well, right? The sensor is exactly below the lens... Why is the hole more te the left?
That sensor is for better white balance under water, nothing else. And i never recommend putting automatic white balance on these cameras. That is the one thing that ruins most of the picture quality. Rather set if and adjust it slightly in post. I made a small hole in the front so i could see the record light. I changed the Osmo Action 3 for a gopro hero 12. The way rocksteady works in low light or high contrast area ruins so much footage for me. It is just not usable for my needs. GoPro does this way better.
