🎼The home of our hearts, Cape Breton🎼. Thank you for showcasing our beautiful island. You mentioned the Dancing Goat! I was there last week. They never disappoint! Finally, I’d recommend the Cabot Trail in the fall as well with all the beautiful colours and the Celtic Colours Music Festival! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for showcasing the Cabot Trail!! I’m from Cape Breton and driving the trail was a regular occurrence for me and my friends to go hiking and to the amazing beaches in the summer.❤ The skyline trail is incredible I agree. Great video :) and safe travels!!!
Good bye to you 'delightful' tiny home! Hope it stays in beautiful Cape Breton. Have done the Cabot Trail many times, summer, winter and fall. Prefer going clockwise myself. West Mabou beach is wonderful --next best to Port Hood which may have warmer waters. As soon as you hinted at the new name for your RV, I thought "Oreo' for sure! Thanks Trevor and Anna.
What a gorgeous area! We are hoping to rent an RV and heading down east next summer. I now know our route. Thanks for all these views. So sad to see you say goodbye to the tiny home. She is a beauty. For everything there is a season. You guys sure are making big changes and are making space for new adventures. ❤
You are right about the pictures not doing the views justice. They look good, but seeing the Cabot Trail live is a whole different ballgame. We were in the Saguenay Fjord a few days ago, and our pictures really don't show how stunning that place is too.
The direction you go is basically based on when you're going and what you're doing. The main issue with going counter clockwise is that in the later afternoon-evening, you're basically going to be driving into the sun for a large part of it, depending on weather, so plan accordingly. If its a bright sunny day, you may want to go clockwise. Either way, its a hell of a drive.
Thank you for your stop in Cheticamp! That campground is right down the road from my house...yes I think they opened last year. The skyline is awesome. Ive only done it once, but it was amazing:) Ive never been to west Mabou beach but it's on my list! You tiny house is beautiful and im sad that you had to sell it. A tiny by a creek or river on a private property is my dream:)
First time on Skyline Trail??😱?? 40 lashes with a wet noodle Trevor! Lol. I guess being from CB it's easy to forget some of the incredible landscape and trails we have in our own back yard sometimes. Glad you finally got to showcase that.
Trevor, a traditional Reuben sandwich, is made of 5 ingredients: corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and rye bread. It is a grilled sandwich, served warm. A "corned beef special" is similar but uses coleslaw instead of sauerkraut and it is served cold, not grilled. Gorgeous views, but yes, it came across as hazy. Still beautiful, though. I agree with you that all waters seem cold once you have been to the Caribbean. Scout is the perfect name for the SUV. I like Oreo, too, for the RV... It's more like a Double Stuffed Oreo 😅😅😊. I was wondering about your tiny house, but I figured that you would tell us when you were ready to share. Goodbye to another friend.😢 Looking forward to the next adventure.... ❤ 🫂
Nice video, great info. Your trailer is so nice. Cabot trail looks beatiful, its on my bucket list lol. Your tiny home was also so nice, thanks for sharing. Take care guys.
The Cabot Trail does not translate that well to camera. The view is so wide and spectacular. I'm happy you pointed this out. Fall is even more amazing in time for Keltic Colours.
Just watching u video of Cabot trail... my mom n father r from there!! I used to hitchhike all around the island!! Great videos videos guys!!! I live halifax, born n raised, cape breaton is in my ❤
Appreciate the kind words on the channel John 🤙 But there's no need to insult my hair. I dig the ponytail / man bun. It's 2024 ... we should all be over on commenting on people's appearances. I have 'thick skin' so I'm not bothered. Just don't say this kind of thing to others.... it can hurt ✌️ - Trevor
I live in Sydney mines and I am running for mayor. I think you promoting the absolute beauty here is amazing I will push all year tourism and take up railroad tracks and make more trails for ATV and ebikes and snowmobiles and general trailing with businesses along trail and turn out hope you check it when it is done . Great show
West Mabou! OMG favorite place in my world! Also, the Skyline trail. Was lucky enough to see a close up moose. (Yes, we slowly back away and just watch her from afar). Did you stop at the Doryman for some music? I’m living vicariously through you guys!
Believe it or not, I had thought about the RV name ‘Oreo’ - I had assumed it would be too ‘cutesy’ and you perhaps wouldn’t like it. Awesome that you’ve chosen that name! As for the Tiny Home I, too, will sadly miss it 😢.
@rubirose196 Water temps in July / August are 20-25° C. The incidents of sharks that would concern humans is minimal. The odd great white is tracked, but we are speaking of one or two along a very very long coastline. So from a practice point of view - no.
Saw you guys at Breton yesterday... a beach you should check out is Kennington Cove, in Louisbourg, there's usually has decent size waves, great for body surfing or with a boogie board..
Those westside beaches are Northumberland strait waters....the warmest ocean water in Canada.....Caribbean bath water? No.....but still pretty friggin warm lol
I missed the updates lately. Are you no longer traveling the world, only north America? I can go back and watch prior videos if you don’t want to explain. Thanks.
How many Canadians live near epic places and have never visited them? It took me over 30 years to visit Quebec City when I lived in Montreal. Please tell me you have been to Quebec City.

I'm from Cape Breton and the best time to go around the Cabot trail is during the fall when all the leaves are changing colors. It's truly amazing.

If you haven't been to Melmerby Provincial Park on the mainland (near New Glasgow) ... warmest waters north of the Carolinas.
