Sweet! Thanks for spreading the word on this Joel. I was fortunate enough to be able to help get them going with some looms and display items when the lab first opened. What a fascinating and wonderful place the WonderLab is and the volunteers there are incredible. Wish I lived a a bit closer so I could spend some time there. At 1:39 there's a dragon of mine, and in the background are some spiral fidgit toys I've been working on with a collegue. Those are the only ones out in the wild. Thanks once again to you for getting the word out and all the awesome people at Wonderlab and GKTW. What an amazing group of people.
I’m so happy u went to Gktw I been volunteering there for years I haven’t been there much lately I miss those kids is such a great feeling to volunteer there. This made my day. Thank u. It truly is the happiest place on hearth those families are so grateful and the kids smiles are the best. N you can plan your vacationn come volunteer a few hours I’ve seen it many times :)
This is so cool, we need something like this in the UK, when a child is diagnosed with a disease that will end their lives early you try and pack as many good experiences in as possible, my cousin died at nine years old from leukemia in 1977, his cancer can now be treated and cured. In my family if you don't die from heart disease then cancer gets you
The 3D printing nerd inspired me to bring printers to my classroom, now we do a huge project every year where we launch student designed 3D printed model rockets. I love seeing these projects! Also awesome since this is right near me!
The hydraulics are powered by syringes, which kids probably only know from the medical world. Seeing them power a cool machine might reduce anxiety about them in the future. ❤
What a great place! I lived in Orlando for 13 months for school about 20 years ago but I didn't hear about this place. I wonder if it started after I left.
Love all your videos. Would you consider making a video on all these different build plate materials (PEP, PES, PEL, PEB......) ive been seeing lately. I cant seem to find any videos on what they are or best used for.
Can u cover more about 3d printing for education, because kids this day attach to their phone and junk brainrot internet content, hope 3d print can save alot of them

This is exactly the sort of thing Joel is so passionate about, love it! "Make cool stuff", I would completely agree, doing cool stuff is awesome!
Man we need more places like this these days, feel like this will get some kids of their screens and into making some stuff themselves and explore
