Why get A6700 now. I want one soon but I will wait for a revolutionary update. You would enjoy 90 percent of its benefits from a 6100 and 6400 for fraction of the cost. The 6000 is still a good stills camera to get somewhat vintage look and older color science.
@pinikpikantv3555 That's a valid point, and waiting can sometimes really pay off, especially with how fast technology evolves! The A6100 and A6400 indeed offer great value and cover most needs quite well. Plus, using the A6000 for that vintage feel is a fantastic idea for those unique looks. It all comes down to personal needs and how much the latest features matter to you. If the upcoming features in the next update are game-changers for your photography, holding off sounds like a wise choice. Keep us posted on what you decide! 📸👍 Cheers!
The a6000 with vintage glass is a cool look. Took mine out today so she doesn't feel left out with a Helios even though I have new way more capable full frame cameras. I have a Rv but use my Riii the most. Something about the 42mp sensor I love. I'll never get rid of the 6000 or the Riii
Nice! a6000 with vintage glass is such a fun combo. Helios lenses are legendary, love the classic look they give. Totally get keeping the a6000 around - there's just something special about some cameras, you know? 42MP on the Riii is no joke either, sounds like a great setup! Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
Thank you! I think new cameras and technology are great, but the old stuff is good to and saving the money is the best part of it. Thanks for the comment, cheers!
I would say the A6000 as you will have a lot more lens choices and it being mirrorless vs a DSL-R will go further in the long run. Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
What I said was you will not notice the difference between 2MP. BUTTT you will notice better low light, dynamic range, image clarity. So if those things are important to you then spend the extra money. The A6000 takes a great image and you couldn’t really go wrong if you just want a cheap interchangeable lens camera. Thanks for the comment, cheers!
Yes i love my a6000 but getting old and discontinued. No mic jack no headphones jack. Small battery i have to change 3times a day. For me it’s time to upgrade and 6700 is great especially if discounted this Christmas 😉. Imagine that camera for $1200 +-
For sure! That is a great option, with the kit lens you are looking at $850 from B&H and used a little less, $700-$750. The 4K makes it worth the price difference but if you still have a budget less then $500, I would go with the used A6000 as you will most likely get the two kit lenses and the body, maybe a few batteries for that price. Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
Out of topic, which is better 2nd hand nikon d5200 or canon m3 beginner here planning to buy my 1st camera. I will use it for product photography and some outdoors
Thanks for reaching out! I would say the M3 only because it is a mirrorless camera which will last longer in the long run. Both will give you a great image though. Hope that helps, Cheers!
Great video. I was considering the upgrade. I have a go pro that I use a lot for video. I was unsure if the upgrade would really be worth it. The only thing that I seem to see as a key difference is the menu system. I hate the a6000 menu. But still don't think I will upgrade after seeing this.
I agree 100% on the menu system, gets very frustrating when you are looking for something. New cameras are awesome and they can help when you need some of those new features, but you can also take great photos with a cheaper or older version, even the GoPro takes a great photo! Thanks for the comment, Cheers!

Finally, the comparison that we were waiting for but nobody else bothered doing

@@KarlWeinreich Totally, I own a A6000 and even though it's old it still does the job pretty well. It's a really good cheaper option.
Exactly! Best tools for the job don't always have to be the most expensive.
I’d love your opinion ! Should I go with a used Nikon D800 or the A6000 ?
I would say the A6000 as you will have a lot more lens choices and it being mirrorless vs a DSL-R will go further in the long run. Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
$1400
Can’t tell the difference in pixels but said Better low light, sharper , more dynamic range. Sounds like you can tell the difference.

A dollar spent on glass is a FAR more prudent investment than a dollar spent on a sensor box. 👍
The best comment! Thanks for it, Cheers!

For sure, if you can hold out... the longer the better! Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
I miss the animal eye autofocus with the 6000. And also some better video would be useful.
Yeah I hear ya. But for the price, you can’t beat the features it does have. Thanks for the comment, cheers!
I would go for the a6400, it can shoot 4k at 30fps. Its weathersealed same as the a6700 and is half the price.

It actually does have the new AI autofocus, the same as the A7 R5. Great video.
That’s crazy, I would have thought that wouldn’t have been added! Thanks for the comment, Cheers!
I started off with an a5000, moved to a6000, then to the a6600, I wished I would have kept the a6000 as a secondary camera, I really loved the camera
Those are all great ones. It is just a great camera that continues to work great. Thanks for the comment, cheers!

@@KarlWeinreich yes still going back and forth LOL
Haha, hope you have now found your solution!
