Custom LUTs, False Color (or even better: EL Zone), remove the crop from 4k 60, Cine EI would also be great. Those things are non-negotiables for me personally. Everything else would be a nice bonus. 3 of those things are even possibel with just an firmware update of the A7IV.
Manual focus breathing compensation, 4k 60 with 1.2 crop or less, red bright light on the front when recording, internal memory, shutter angle, better app integration to control the camera. Keep the screen and the viewfinder.
A7 V with; - Searchable menu and in computer menu changes - Internal really fast 1TB memory - Security lock in camera - 20 FPS - Ability to upload very fast to ☁️ services of choice - Computational photography (background blur, erase tool, - Easy sensor cleaning tool - Automatic subject recognition focus mode - In camera GPS - Code to create in and download in camera color profile - Trade program
If they are trying to market these cameras as hybrid shooters, then they need to figure out a few things for video shooters. 1. SCRUB bar on playback. It's unbelievably difficult and frustrating to find a spot to review during playback of a video with the VCR type buttons. Needs to be on ALL cameras. 2. Allow playback of video on screen AND HDMI out at the same time. When I'm using an A74 on set, and we want to see playback, I lose all video on the camera if HDMI output is happening. So I can't use the touch screen for controls AND I can't even see what's happening when I use the actual buttons unless I go over to the HDMI connected monitor. I think ALL Sony A-series cameras do this as well as the FX3 and FX30. It's mind-numbingly stupid. 3. Allow for shutter angle shooting. It's a very simple software fix. Just give it to us. And give us fine tuning of shutter angle to deal with cheap LED lighting in backgrounds or displays. 4. A brighter screen option. Using the A7S3 or A74 outdoors on a sunny day makes the LCD screen impossible. Sony, you literally make high quality, high resolution displays. Your cell phones have had bright, 4k screens for nearly a decade. But the screen on even their flagship camera is only a 2K screen. The A74 is only a 720p screen. 5. Picture Profile names that actually make some kind of sense, or make them custom named. Remembering what all the PP# profile details are isn't something I have room for in my brain. #4 is the ONLY hardware change I'm looking for. All the other things is software. Most could be firmware updates for most existing cameras. I've never had a single complaint about the hybrid cameras still features. Sony always gives us way more options than we know what to do with. They've gotten a bit better with their menu systems, but it's still out of control. I think the problem is that Sony sells far too many cameras, so they are forced to separate price points more with software than with the actual abilities of the cameras. Why should the much less expensive A6700 do that cool thing that can track and reframe a subject with zoom, but none of the more expensive cameras get that function??! It just doesn't make a lot of sense. They have a "cinema" line (FX), a Pro line (A1/A9), a prosumer line (A7 with an "S" sub-line, a "C" sub-line and an "R" sub-line), a consumer line (A6000), and a Vlogger/creator line (ZV-E). Then the Cinema line and Vlogger line have full frame and APS-C sub-lines. And that's further confused because Sony takes forever to discontinue older versions of the same camera. You can still buy brand new A7Riii directly from Sony. Too many cameras, too much feature overlap, and artificial restrictions to keep their price points appropriate.
The A7iv is so good and so bad too. The 4k60 crop to ASPC size is so dumb. Why did I buy a full frame camera to not have full frame field of view? I sold mine because of it.
It will need the AI chip too, which is on all newer Sony cameras. The next major leap by any camera company will be combining a smart phone and a professional camera. Think of a large OLED screen that you can share or download LUTS just like sending a text message. You could share or DL settings, send jpgs immediately, and have apps that can change the way you use your camera. Only one company is currently in both realms.
Dude, you're dreaming! Unless Sony realise, the need to stop being stubborn, which is what a former CEO said a long time ago, if they wish to be successful in the future! I agree below with Luts and with you with rolling shutter 😊❤
The crop at 4K 60 fps is 1.5, not 1.2. If it were 1.2 there would be less need for an upgrade.

Damn video quality was great, couldn’t even tell… impressive and that gets you a new subscriber
Thanks dude Appreciate you!

Would be nice if cameras could give us a minimal shutter speed for sharp photos. Especially for shots of the moon.
4k 120 and a better display screen ✌️🔥
Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever used 120 but it be nice to have to have it.
A useable electric shutter is my biggest ask.

OMG YES!! I think you nailed it especially a SCURB. And also slow mo play back!!

I think have the drop has an advantage if you need some extra reach but ya totally get that.

I would have never been able to tell you were using the ZV E10.
Hope that’s a good thing!! 😂
Open gate!
Rolling shutter improve
Amen.
Better skintones this time
💪
Open gate too please
If they dont fix overheating + 60p FF and its rolling shutter im not buying. Even if its $2500-$3000 i have no other need.
Can it go run my errands too
Stacked sensor
4k 60 no crop, no need for a crop 120
Shutter angle
Keep the 33mp
New AI Autofocus
There... I fixed it
Then it going to cost $5999, stacked sensor is very expensive, they just need to do partially stacked just as nikon z6iii
