Thanks Mike I was looking at the Junker this morning on MSFS market place . Looks excellent value, I think the Devs will quickly sort the low engine noise , majority of simmers will buy this for the sound Thanks again Mike . I'll be purchasing her 👏👏👏👏👏
Junkers JU 52.....Great value for money....for me a definate addition to my aircraft hangar....highly recommended. BBD Andrewsfield is also worth a look. Perfect for my VFR across the UK.
Thank you for the review! What a great plane for the sim. As for the sun reflecting off the prop, I found that it seemed to be coming from one of the lights (taxi lights?). Once I turned them off, the glare was greatly reduced or gone. In fact, now that I look back at your video, I see the glare was gone as soon as you moved the lights from taxi to landing.
As soon as I heard you were flying from there I raced over on my bike but I didn't quite make it in time for a lift, I kept waving at you but you didn't see me 🤣 a really great overview Mark and thanks for the mention. I definitely need to pick this one up myself.
Lovely plane to fly... Sure was surpriced to see, that I got two versions for both propellers and cockpit. Deffently is nice to have a old fasion and a bit more modern cockpik, but not all new though :) She is a lovely plane to fly and sure is so nice to hear those three engines work as you fly along... Deffently a great job modeling this plane... Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot for the video! Just as an fyi, the light reflexion on the propeller is not the sun but the taxi lights. You can try turn on and off to compare. It is quite normal in my opinion as the taxi lights are directed into the prop. But hey many thanks again for this tutorial!
Thanks for your review, it's a pleasure to watch and listen! Agree with the engine sounds, never flown one but if you look at other videos, it's clearly not an well insulated airframe, the sounds are great but should be way louder, with open and closed windows. If you compare the takeoff roll in videos from the Junkers roughly/non-scientifically by counting the seconds with Microsobo's model you see that a takeoff roll will take around 3-5 seconds longer, so it's a bit less STOL(y?) Maybe they update this minor flaws... An incredible value and a sightseeing plane that will be used!💙
my girlfriend got me an xbox card, so i got this airplane for $15. it's an awesome aircraft. i really like flying it and looking at the detail. one of my favorite DLC planes so far. now i need a yoke though because i only have joystick controls so it doesn't make me feel like i'm flying it.
Hello Mr. Mike, that was a very nice review, I really enjoy this new addition to the sim, it’s a real joy to fly and looks stunning. I just subscribed to your channel today as I really enjoy the content as well as the delivery 👍
It's easy to see that you've put a great deal of research and thought into this Ju-52 review ..well done and thank you!. Ive purchased this and totally agree with your assessment that its one of the best airplane addons available to date. Fantastic job done by the developers ..from the textures to the Sound scape . Talking of sound ,yes they could do with slightly enhancing the in cockpit engine sounds but i do love the engine noise outside. Have you tried turning off the taxi light "Head lights" .I'm referring to the "sun glare" on the props Ps. Steve looks a bit of a dubious character 😛😂
Need Help! Can’t find the option for all the liveries on Xbox I can only chose from 3, standard, xbox, and a Microsoft flight simulator one, does anyone know where to find the option for the others?
Hello @@SimHangerFS , thank you again :) PS: My father was a paratrooper in ww2 and jumped many times out of this plane. He loved the "Alte Tante Ju" (Old Aunt Ju)
What addon are you running if any for that lucious long grass. I bought the andrews addon and the grass is short and kind of brown. changing the month in the sim had no effect.
hey, Mike how is it going,I have two questions, I hope someone could respond it to me, 1) how to I apply brakes on the Junkers ju52 and number 2) where do I see or check the altitude on the same plane......thanks a lot
Hi, it does have wheel brakes. Under controller options menu, select your peripheral or input device…such as keyboard and type brakes into the search box. It has two altitude indicators, right in front of the pilot at the bottom of the instrument stack. One indicates km and the other meters. 1km is approx 3300’
Hello Mark, andrewsfield in xbox series x is empty and there's no plane nor cars in the airpors. (Ground traffic is set to 100). Is it because xbox version has lower graphic than a powerful PC?
The airport in my video is an add on scenery package from Burning Blue Design. Not available yet for Xbox last time I looked. Your seeing default scenery.

Would love to fly Ju-52 and D-6 in this game, but I am now spoiled by DCS`s quality of flight model and physics and unfortunately, MSFS is long way behind. Learning systems is fascinating but if the plane flies like on railway track, does not drift in the air and its weight can `t be felt, then it is not good enough. For example look at the take off. It took 5 seconds for the plane to go from standstill to get in air. What is that? That is clearly wrong.
Thanks Mike

Thankyou Mark on your tutorial on the j52.Just wouldn't have had a clue.As always superb.I love the vintage aircraff..
Instrument description tooltips... you genius, I've been trying to turn that off forever. Thanks!
I agree, this is the most incredible looking model I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful! This addon is a delight to fly.
Excellent review of this beautiful JU -52 aircraft. Well done!
Ooh. I cycle past Andrewsfield loads of times in my way to The Blue Egg cafe 😁
Well done Mark! Thanks for the review and the flight!
Thank you for this video. Most valuable information. I was considering a purchase already but waited for your opinion.

Amazing production quality on this one. Love it!
Great review, nice to see the engine start sequence talked through. Helped me a lot!
Hello another great video thank you very much for sharing just a little help the light on the prop is from the taxi light.
Hi mark, I was hoping that you could do a video on how you set up your bravo throttle quadrant for the junkers 🤞
Thank you, Mark, another beautiful and helpful video. 👏

Mark you and Huddison should host a flyin with us all..with the JU be nice if AV Angel joined also. Its such a great aircraft.
Thanks for your review Mark very well presented. Any chance you can share your Bravo controls profile for this bird?

Hey, welcome to the channel, great to have you with us!
Thanks Mark for great informative video and very useful because there's no included manual. Now I know a lot more :-)
Really? Such a module does not come with Flight manual? Hmm....good to know.
Post start startup sounds are missing completely, hopefully that gets corrected, beautifully modeled otherwise

I love this. Are there (paper-) checklists for all the procedures?
Thanks for your work and have a nice day :)
Not with the purchase, but you can find printable checklist from Flightsim.to website

They shortened the grass in the sim….Asobo change.
