Pick n Pull parts hunting Town Car door module

- Having failed to eliminate the "door ajar" light in the Town Car after replacing all four door switches, I decide to replace the door module. Another Town Car the same year as mine has arrived at the Pick n Pull a few days ago. Hopefully I can get to it and remove the door module before someone else does and hopefully the module is the same part number as mine.

i brought my '07 TC to an auto shop and they are offering $2,600 to replace the drivers door module, brake pads, brake rotors and the serpentine belt. how much should this really be?
Hard to say. If you decide to do it yourself, the parts for the brakes and rotors would run you between a few hundred and several bones for all 4 (depending on where you bought or ordered parts). The DDM cost will vary on whether you can fins one in a junked car or have to order online. Parts alone would be half that on the high end and lower than $1000 on the low end. The rest is labor, so it depends on what your time is worth to you.
If you can earn more than what they're charging by going out and working the same amount of time it takes the shop to fix your car, have them fix it and you work. That would be reasonable. If you don't earn more than what the shop is charging and would rather spend your time fixing the car yourself to save money, do that instead.
I've done videos on Panther car brake replacement, so you can watch and zee for yourself if it's a project you'd rather DIY or would rather pay someone to do. I'd rather DIY but that's just me.
hope you did not pay that much back then ... absolute rapery.... brakes are not difficult to do and brake parts aren't expensive... the module i do not know, but c'mon, it's not a grand, no way...

Does anyone know if the keyfob needs to be reprogrammed after replacing the door module?

The part numbers are off by one digit.
Yours is;
3W1T-13791-AH
These are;
1.) 3W1T-13791-AE
2.) 4W1T-13791-AA
The second one is from an “L”.
Which one do you want?
Or do you want both?
