@@SuperKpill I don't think he had the flexibility to do high kicks as he once did by this stage in his career, though I think that's more due to injury than conditioning. He just adjusted to use his movement to set up punches instead, a proper classy pro. He did carry on too long though, like he absolutely didn't need to go for a second time with Ryan Bader, who probably outweighs Fedor by at least 25lbs and faster by that point than the 46 year old Fedor.

I think he wins those if he doesn't jump right on em after knocking them down. Kudos for them on taking advantage though. That's what fighting is. It happens. @jboi6398that's if Fedor can close the distance without getting caught, and that's not even a guarantee he would submit Rampage if he takes him to the ground. This is Pride, if anything isn't really going on the ground for more than 5 mins, the ref would stand both fighters back up. Fedor's losses were all TKO stoppages. I guess you haven't watched a lot of Rampage's fights, how he just overpowered his opponents when they put him in a submission lock, who can forget about his most famous one, against Arona,(one of the most brutal ok in MMA), when Arona had him in a very tight triangle choke, Rampage literally lifted him up and powerbombed him like it was WWE. He also almost did that to Machida.

@@aperezdeal If that was a game plan , it was a very flimsy one. Like his middle section. With lower weight classes, maybe he could take the shots, but at heavyweight that is a different story. The guys at HW hit hard even when they have no skills, because how large they are. I think everyone knows, he came for the paycheck, and they put the fight on because of name recognition. fedor's lead right is developed enough to be very short when needed, and rampage couldn't get his arm shield up quite in time -- well to be fair he did, but Fedor managed to find that small opening where Rampage's forearm wasn't covering his temple -- if rampage had positioned his arm just a little better could of blocked it. But fedor is very good at threading short shots through guards.
Amazed to see rampage come into this fight looking like that.
