He just adjusted to use his movement to set up punches instead, a proper classy pro. He did carry on too long though, like he absolutely didn't need to go for a second time with Ryan Bader, who probably outweighs Fedor by at least 25lbs and faster by that point than the 46 year old Fedor.

fedor's lead right is developed enough to be very short when needed, and rampage couldn't get his arm shield up quite in time -- well to be fair he did, but Fedor managed to find that small opening where Rampage's forearm wasn't covering his temple -- if rampage had positioned his arm just a little better could of blocked it. But fedor is very good at threading short shots through guards. Amazed to see rampage come into this fight looking like that.
