New Zealand v Australia Rugby League World Cup Final 2000

The two dominant and undefeated teams of the 2000 rugby league World Cup tournament in Britain faced off in the final. Although New Zealand eased into the final with a walloping of the hapless English, the Australians were pushed by a gallant Wales, only securing victory in the final quarter. The final was held at Old Trafford, Manchester, on November 25, 2000.
