Thanks for showing those granite memorials. The art work on those were amazing. And if any service person reads this comment, THANK YOU for your service
As a veteran I really appreciate seeing folks, yourself included, taking a few minutes to visit the memorials, giving/showing respect for veterans. Maybe 20 or so years ago I visited the National D-Day Memorial located near Bradford, Virginia. I was visiting family in the area. Quite the trip we enjoyed today, thankee. Take care and be well.
I HAVE A TON OF RESPECT & LOVE FOR OUR TRUCKERS WITH OUT YOU THERE IS NO US !! TRUCKERS DONT MOVE WE DONT EAT OR HAVE ANY STORE MERCHANDISE !! ALL BE SURE TO THANK OUR TRUCKERS & MILITARY 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✊✊🙏🙏

Kurt as a veteran of 27 years military service I appreciate your constant acknowledgement of the veterans. Thanks I enjoy your videos the most of everyone on UA-cam, keep up the good work.
Mr SCHIMDT there has people who have ram a 🚛 in the rear because they couldn't stop quick enough. A person is 🥜🥜 when you can't see a 🚛. And then people try to blamed it on the trucker. Safe Travels SCHIMDT and 🐕🦺. 🚛💨💨💨💨
Had to back into that dock off the street a few times. I just give 3 or 4 blast on the air horn and they usually remember i'm there and let me out. Came down south on US 59 on Sat. Saw some of the damage and a whole lot of neighbors helping each other out. That was nice to see. Prayers to those affected.
Kurt I wanted to mention you were talking that you never crossed the Mackinac Bridge? Just want to mention there's a car fairy called the SS badger. In Manitowoc Wisconsin. It travels back and forth from Ludington Michigan to Manitowoc Wisconsin Cross lake Michigan. Bikers do it all the time I've even taken my truck, prime paid for it. Just watched to mention this next time you want to travel Iron Mountain
"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." I've seen a Sinclair Dino fly. With that accident you had, you're entitled to mention aches and pains. The next trip to Nebraska will not be the same. All I can picture is that tornado crossing I-80. Continued prayers for everyone affected. Thank you for the great ride. Please stay safe, and God bless.
Hello my friend. As you may remember, my son, wife and their son live in Bennington, NE. They are in NE Omaha. 1/4 mile from Elkhorn where the Tornado went through. They were okay, however many of their neighbors were not. We are praying for all, along with donations to the Red Cross. I hope and pray that you and your family are safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Nebraska and Iowa. We count our blessings, of which you and your family are one. Please take care and stay safe. Ed. Long Island, NY.
I agree about the skirts. It’s just another useless piece of equipment that does nothing but cost the trucking industry money. Just because California says it does something and you can’t go there without them. Just like the DEF systems is a useless government mandate that costs trucking a bunch of money and doesn’t do anything but hurt the trucks they’re on.
About the only purpose they serve that I’ve noticed is, they keep water from spraying of the side and blasting cars during heavy rain. Which could be a pretty good safety feature for cars being able to see as they pass you. Some guys say it helps fuel economy but I’ve never noticed a difference myself.
Brother it ain't the age, it's the miles Wide turns: Back in the late 80s Mom and dad had a delivery of doors in downtown Denver in the morning, since I had the day off I had spent the night with them. Dad was in the second lane over turn signals on make a right turn and people kept going between him and the curb. Finally I had to get out with a six cell Mag light Stand at the back of the trailer and threaten to bash in the guys hood so dad could get around the corner. We won't talk about how much fun it was getting 7 foot tall solid core office doors off with out a dock! Wind: We were on our way to Seattle 53 footer wind hitting dad's side I could look in the mirror and the top corner of the trailer ! Hope you and the family made it through the tornados unharmed
I am Vet and I thank you!! Now I click Subscribe, and if you are ever traveling on I75 in south Michigan I have a few girls that will Babysit Opie :) If you see a silver Dodge Ram flashing my lights letting you over that's me!.. Drive Safe see you on the roads.
Hey Kurt, new comer to your channel. Yes I did subscribe and like your videos and I'm hook. I was looking for a new trucking channel from the last one I was watching, what a joke that other guy was. FSC Trucking is the other trucker with an attitude problem. You're the real deal. Keep up the good work and look forward to the videos. Stay safe out there buddy.
Come on Schmidt, ketchup on hot dogs! YUK! Oh by the way! Thank you for supporting the Military!! USNR PO1. 23 years of service to this great country! VOTE!
Thanks for taking us along Kurt! Always enjoy the Ride. Hope you all made out ok with the storms? I also have a power wagon buddy in Sloan IA Not sure about how they did, haven't been able to reach him yet. We get the storms tonight here in STL Metro. Stay Safe TGP
Hi enjoying your time, have you looked at Rose-Hip vital canine, for your hound? It might just help him with his arthritis. We had our golden retriever on it for same. She recently passed at 14 years and 5 months, we recommend this stuff, pretty sure it gave her an additional 2 years of life. Ps Zahra was a guide , service, dog. Cheers David and Yvonne, scenic rim, Queensland Australia ❤
Kurt, I normally watch your content on a TV so in order to leave a comment I need to log in on my computer. I'm older than UberDad and have no connection to trucking at all. I'm retired Navy. Just find your videos entertaining. Couple of questions: -last two videos showed a towel/rag wrapped around the revolver cylinder shift knob. Why? -don't recall you mentioning what repairs you made to your CB unit that you've yet to reinstall. Trust everyone is fine and escaped the weekend tornado outbreak.
Interesting you guys have those two sliding axels on your trailers. Here we just have three or four axles that don’t move, fourth rear ones can steer slightly, and mostly super single tyres on the reefers.
Hope Mapleton didn't get hit with the tornado outbreak, friday.i seen where the weather was headed your way.eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa got hammered.here in Fremont neb,we lucked out.just heavy rain here.take care.nice to see the star back in the truck.you are right about the skirts.just make more surface for the wind to blow you around.
@3:15 Hey Schmidt, we're all built different, with different life experiences. Has nothing to do with age. Screw those old timers that say "oh, your much to young to have those problems". Especially if they've been telling others to do all the hard work for them.
Hey Kurt and family, glad you made it through those storms safe. Almost home from tacoma/yakima. Out of hours 3 hours from home. Friddle fratten con founded dad burnit *#@!%
Have you ever seen a truck hauling a blade for a wind turbine? The first time I did, I didn't know what it was - and it was huge! Would you want to haul freight like that? I didn't know they still had the dinosaur gas stations - with a nice green dino at the front!
Try talking to a car hauler about fuel mileage. I found the 2 best ways to get fuel mileage was to stay home or lie. I pulled a short haul dedicated run for 1-1/2 years. Same 53 ft trailers some with skirts and some without. The skirts helped 2-5 tenths of MPG. DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT YOUR SKIRT !!
That hip pain needs some exercise, you need to go to the senior center and inquire as to when the hula lesson are being offered, and then sign up and the key is to attend!! LOL, stay safe! Uhh, I think you presumed a little much, they called out OPIE, not Kurt, I think they are Opies fans!
I run a gallon of Lucas oil stabilizer in my transmission and both rear ends with the synthetic oil and have for over 1,000,000 miles cut down all the noise in the transmission
G'day Kurt we have sign's on our trailers over here in Australia Do not over take turning vehicle but they still try an do it then they scream an Carry On they got hit
If the fridge is a Norcold, which used to be made here in Sidney, Ohio, I could understand. They closed and are moving, out of the USA. If you can get products in exchange for doing a review, how about a Macco paint job for First Class?
You know Kurt it’s Americans like you and your family that make it worth serving for. Thank You from a retired Marine for being those Americans.
Thanks for showing those granite memorials. The art work on those were amazing. And if any service person reads this comment, THANK YOU for your service

Turkeys do fly, but usually only up into the trees where they sleep.
My sentiments on the memorial as this is a beautiful tribute to our military, I am glad that you filmed this, thank you.

Opie watering the grass .
I agree about the skirts. I’m having them removed from the trailer that I’m buying.
From this ol’63 year old, thank you from my brother, and me your welcome from this Veteran.

That's what the bone cracker told me. And yes i80 is going to look different
That turkey flying comment was made in the sitcom WKRP In Cincinnati by Gordon Jump, the station owner.
@danielgarver2660 Yes, it was.
Turkeys can fly up into the trees.
@suechambers5123 They can fly quite well. Domestic ones can't. The quote is from a classic sitcom, WKRP in Cincinnati. It's a funny episode.

Don't look now but you have a giant refrigerator/ freezer behind you. Lol.
Kurt, you have to put onions on the hot dog. Otherwise it is a cold dog.
Have you seen the people drive on the roads today? Hell half the cars out there today have broken turn signals!
Safe travels trucking Kurt

The towel is just there for a diffrent feel, nothing big. And the CB isn't fixed yet. But the coax and antenna is what replaced.
Interesting you guys have those two sliding axels on your trailers. Here we just have three or four axles that don’t move, fourth rear ones can steer slightly, and mostly super single tyres on the reefers.
Um the same way bro! I love meeting my subs and chatting with them but I too ALWAYS forget to get their name 😆 You stay safe driver!
At least the train didn't blow it's horn while you were trying to talk to us today.
Hi Kurt and Opie
HI opie awesome video. 👌

KURT YOU SAID A DUABLE BLOW I LOST IT ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kurt, I think thats the first time I have seen the memorial in the daylight lol.
Good evening
Hello, Opie 🎉😅
It always amazes me with the respect that people show to your armed forces as I'm on the other side of the world and that does not happen here.
Oh and your the man!!
Not sure if they'd be running in this wind
I’ve seen a couple, they don’t even have trailers, just some wheels bolted to the back of the blade. Looks like it could be 100+ feet!
Try talking to a car hauler about fuel mileage. I found the 2 best ways to get fuel mileage was to stay home or lie. I pulled a short haul dedicated run for 1-1/2 years. Hi Ope!!!
If you can't see my mirrors I can't see you...
You can pull up close enough for it to open automatically
I run a gallon of Lucas oil stabilizer in my transmission and both rear ends with the synthetic oil and have for over 1,000,000 miles cut down all the noise in the transmission
G'day Kurt we have sign's on our trailers over here in Australia Do not over take turning vehicle but they still try an do it then they scream an Carry On they got hit
can call First Class no more .paint the hood or decal it just a though, Im a loyal viewer Be safe. mountain man
Kurt buckle up that seat belt. Stay safe.
If the fridge is a Norcold, which used to be made here in Sidney, Ohio, I could understand. They closed and are moving, out of the USA. If you can get products in exchange for doing a review, how about a Macco paint job for First Class?
When you drive a semi in the windy conditions it makes trucking actually a job lol.
When it's too windy, an oversize load usualy has to park it. They won't let us cross the scale when it's windy.
Yes Kurt even those in their mid fifties know what you're saying🙂
How can anybody NOT like Opie
I think as in England, hgvs have to bars stop bikes from going under etc😊
uberdad- let's get on it !
If it’s not too late, I think a 6.4 starter will fit and spin the motor faster.
$5-10.00 per mile make the Oversize Loads much more palatable 😂
Oh yea, and in front of my pickup about windshield high moving it onto my lap.
Umm, Kurt... You're parked on the wrong side of the road at that park. 😅😅
❤
Hey Kurt and Opie. Kurt what's the towel on your shifter for? Just curious.
i dont no how opie sleeps all that time
Enjoyed the longer video? Thank you
What’s with the blue rag on the shifter knob in the recent videos Curt? Those shell casing ends hurting your hand or something?
Hey Kurt what's with the rag on ya shifter?? Have you got a sore hand🤔🤔🤔
Which color micro fiber do you endorse as a shifter accessory, blue or green? 😉
