I Installed the exact same head unit in my friends car, he's happy with it so far and I was surprised on how many features it has for its price. Bluetooth works perfectly and SD/USB function reads all the files on the card/stick and plays them, album art shows up too. You can't say Chinese head units are garbage, yes they're cheaply made and feel cheap and may not last 10+ years, but for under 50$ you really can't expect to get much, like you said in the video.

I'd buy a facia surround/plate which is specifically made to fit your car with 2Din head units, since the plastic fascia plate on the head unit was pretty flimsy and didn't fit the dashboard perfectly. It would have been decent, but my friend wanted a oem look so he spent a little extra
Which two screws were supposed to be taken out? I read the back of mine, it stated unscrew the two screws next to the diagram on the back before installation. I did, but the radio didn’t turn on. And I can hear a loose screw on the Inside.
I like to figure what its gonna cost per year to drive. If i buy an 800 dollar winter beater every 2 years. Ill be in for 3500 After 10 years. Add 15k for repairs. Which is an insane number if you do all your own work, and you buy something that isnt a vw or similiar. Lol. Thats 1150 a year to drive. Minimal insurance. Way cheaper. And at the end of the day. You cut ther converter off. Scrap the car. Scrap the converter. Get half your purchase price back. Dont have to worry about sellin the piece of shit.
I watched your video on the Amazon cheap double DIN and I got one. I am blown away. Came with a backup camera, steering wheel remote, credit card size remote. Cannot wait to install it in my 98 Chevrolet blazer. Now I need nitrous!

most factory cars won't let you play any videos unless you are parked with the e-brake engaged, for legal reasons and safety, but sometime you can just wire a toggle switch to the e-brake wire from the stereo
Honestly seems better than the dual audio $100 DVD player I've installed twice there bluetooth is defective and just bearly works even out the box but I'm installing one of these soon
this unit is a label stripped Blaupunkt Baltimore i *almost guarantee it..because i own the labeled version and the set up is identical but the blaupunkt video interface is more modern and doesnt come with a backup cam but is compatible with one..s
Exactly! All that other stuff is just eye candy. How does it sound, eq settings, crossover settings, pre outputs and voltage, rms per channel? I think that’s what sets all of these cheap units apart from the name brands (Sony, Alpine, Kenwwod, Pioneer)

I don't have the exact version you have but I have the About bit version that has Bluetooth version 5.0 which really increases the range you can go with your phone on this wow this is an incredible unit with a lot of capabilities I love the fact that you can change the wallpaper and you can go through the settings on this unit and change so many different things it is absolutely fantastic now I had they recommend those of you that have the GM vehicle to go ahead and get the correct wiring harness don't save money and get the $13 harness make sure you get the 1 that has the built in Chime box that way you know that you're gonna have all your Factory warnings such as Dora jar keys left in. It's recommended that you go to Crutchfield and do a fit check it's nice that I don't have to cut any support brackets to fit this unit since it's so nice and shallow.

I mean ive used some of the cheapest walmart dual or jvc and sony and all name brand cheap decks blow the sound quality out of the water. It was so bad, I purchased the car died 6 months later. Car has been sitting for 2 years and that radio that has wifi, Bluetooth, plays dvds, gps is still sitting in that car. Every factory radio ive ever heard sounds better than these toilets! I would spend $5 more dollars and buy a Dual brand from Walmart i know will sound better than these. Noticed how he said how light the unit is. That’s because it’s garbage. Hope this helps

My radio came internally wired incorrectly. The backup camera was not being detected by the head unit when in reverse. I am currently waiting to see if I can get another one from amazon (china).😬 You get what you paid for I guess. Just spend a little more and improve your chances on getting something that works on arrival.

I purchased one and installed it on my tahoe with bose system. How did you get your steering controls to work with the unit. I purchased a similar interface module like the one you purchased but after the installation everything works but the steering controls.
Joshua Weishaar i just installed the similar radio and It does; the only issue I am seeing right now is when mirroring your screen, and you want to listen music while navigating with google maps, it does not sound... other Than that it’s decent unit for the price. Another example, radio is playing and you go to main menu, and explore settings, radio stop playing, until you come back to the Radio. Hope it helps!

Same here. I got one and didn't fit. Went to stereo shop and he said that happens often with these types of stereos. He suggested pioneer or Kenwood as others did as well but I didn't listen. Got another dash kit and my friend will try to install next week. If it don't fit ,I'll have to go buy another brand.

I've had mine for 6 months and it still works great. My only complaint is the clock will not stay displayed. It changes from clock to music info. I have to press the home button anytime I want to see the time. There might be a fix for it but none that I've seen.

I bought a simple single-din Sony head with no CD (had Bluetooth and mp3 so that's fine). It had excellent power and definitely finer sound quality than the stock deck in my Jeep and only cost $60. But if it sounded like garbage I would have returned it. Sound matters.

I have the same prob. Installer said its internally wired wrong. If you connect reverse 12v to pink it works but the radio quits while ignition on. Go figure. Ive tried connecting the reverse to illumination)dimmer, 12V ignition and even ran a separate 12v line to fuse box on backup light to no avail. Im trying to get a new one through amazon. I guess we get what we pay for

Not in the head unit. But you can use your phone's torque app and mirror it in the head unit..

Buy a metra install kit it will come with a connector to keep your factory amp. You'll need the install kit anyway to hook up the radio
For your 2003 Yukon use CRUX SOCGM-17C INTERFACE you don't need to bypass the amp.. this will make it sound better
