    What are your thoughts with respect to Te?

      That I really need it at the moment and do you have any tips on pushing it as my dominant function (I'm INTJ 8w7)

      @@user-qh1jt3cj1g you... cant. you cant "push" a function to become your dominant one. you are born with 4 main cognitive functions and you can't switch them up or push them to get higher so that they swap places. you can't choose your functions.
      the dominant function is the one that comes naturally to you and you can't really explain it, you just use it. for example for an INTJ it's Ni.
      the auxiliary function is the one that usually starts to get high in late teenage years, for example 16 to 19. for INTJ, it's Extroverted Thinking, and again you can't "push" it to become dominant.
      the tertiary function is always there, though you sometimes don't realise it. for INTJs, it's Fi.
      and the last function develops completely in mid to later life.

      I stopped caring about whether I'm INTJ or ENTJ, or what is my dominant function, at the end I wasn't able to even type myself, I'm only certain of being NTJ, it doesn't matter, the theory simply doesn't apply to me since I can't settle for only INTJ or only ENTJ
      I can't say I'm INTJ due to how many traits of an ENTJ I have, but I also can't say I'm ENTJ because I used to be introverted and it just doesn't feel right
      So in conclusion, neither is me, I'm XNTJ

    INTJ, here. Te likes feedback, constructive criticism and overall the opinions of others. Te also helps with productivity, along side efficiency. Te likes achievements, accolades and reputation.
    Unhealthy Te can be domineering and controlling. It can also be critical of others, totally disregard empathy as well as others emotions. It doesn't care how it makes you feel.
    I'm not justifying toxic behavior nor condone it. A lot of people are unaware of their toxic behavior and don't self-reflect. If anyone is unhealthy, go get some help ie counseling, family involvement etc.

    ENFP here! When I use my Te I become a completely different person, driven and focused, but if I supress my Fi and I connect Ne-Te I become a dictator... It's dangerous!!

    Thank you for these videos!! Your channel is the most helpful resource I've found to understand the cognitive functions. And I've poured many, many hours into trying to study them. Your description box says you're a psychologist. I would love to hear your ideas about how to develop lacking functions and how each of the 16 types should approach therapy/managing stress and difficult emotions/emotional healing and self care.

    Hi! Can you (you probably are already) do (a) video(s) on Introverted sensing and Extraverted sensing? You explained the thinkings so well, and extraverted sensing seems pretty simple and straightforward, but I just don't understand introverted sensing... thank you!

    ENTP here, identity aside (I never really cared for identity in my life) I think I have seen it manifested the way you describe it. However, the motivation usually comes from a place of uncertainty. To me everything is extremely complex and I am never sure of anything, because I always have the feeling that I am overlooking something. So because I spend so much time thinking about a lot of things, researching just for the sake of knowledge and even after all that I can never be 100% sure of anything.
    When someone says something with complete certainty, my brain automatically distrusts that person, rejects what the person said and and try to find possible reasons why that statement might be false. In my brain that person is being arrogant, specially if they do not have the logic or reason to back their claims. It is even worse if someone takes a posture of trying to impose their beliefs on others, that might be the easiest way to "trigger" me. Like someone can insult me to my face and I just laugh it off. But someone makes a claim that sounds like, this what is real and there is no room for discussion, my brain immediately goes "Who the hell are you to tell me what to think and be so arrogant to believe there is no room for discussion?" I mean if someone believes in something I disagree with, I have no problem until they begin shoving it down my throat.
    But I guess I am a hypocrite, because when I see someone being like that, my reaction for me to also be like that in response. Confronting arrogance with arrogance. But then again, I mostly respond that way only when they are shoving it down my throat or unto someone else. But I have indeed overreacted some times, trying so hard to prove someone wrong, when my reaction was unwarranted, and that is flaw I am trying to fix.

      I quite relate to all this.
      I hate hypocrisy and do react also. I am trying to be mindful of my own hypocrisy. I think humans are contradictory beings. But a person with self awareness and the humility to open their mind a bit is refreshing. Sometimes believing something 95% but with an open ear and humility can be a breath of fresh air. It seems I second guess too much and this is somewhat inspired by fear. Noticing and exploring with kindness and curiosity of when my thinking is fear driven (non productive) or truth/love driven (productive) is a helpful guidepost.

    Thank you so much. I have a question please. I'm an INFP who has deep problem with this function and it causes weakness in some case of socialising.
    My question is that, can our third function Si role sensing socialising situations instead of Se? And dose it work for social interacting or it's just for your personal life?!
    Hope you help clear my mind 🙌🏻✨
