The Haldex system has really grown over the years and is maybe the best awd system available, in exception to land rover. I've seen Volvos equipped with haldex perform better then Audis quattro system

Czy ja dobrze widzę że xc60 lepiej sobie poradziło niż Q5?
W mojej ocenie obydwa poradziły sobie równie dobrze.

Zgadza się, jak będzie mocno i długo męczony, to może się przegrzać. Ale i w przypadku torsena może dojść do przegrzania układu EDL, który ma tam więcej do roboty niż w układach z haldexem.

It looks like the Volvo has Winter Tires and the Audi Summer Tires... Way different Grip levels.... 🤔
Tyres do not influence this test at all. It is about power distribution, not about grip.

@Zemmel Tuning To be precise - they may influence the test if wheels on the ground (tarmac) are loosing traction. That's very rare situation which happens sometimes but not in this case.

Audi ma haldex 5 czy już inny system?
Audi z torsenem, w modelu Q5 nigdy nie stosowano haldexa.

Racja q5 z torsenem.
Mieszkam za granicą i z uwagi na aktualna sytuację na świecie i malego dziecka w rodzinie prędko nie przyjadę autem do Polski.
Ale jak już przyjadę to będę w okolicach Rzeszowa bo tam mieszkasz jak dobrze pamiętam
@@karolzabielski Sam jestem ciekaw porównania haldex 4 do haldex 5. Jednocześnie jestem pod wrażeniem, jak haldex 4 dobrze radzi sobie w zestawieniu z torsenem. Wygląda na to, że nie ma się co bać haldex w przypadku rozważania nowych napędów 4x4 :)

@@vit.c.195 Nope. Q5 has torsen. Haldex was never ever used in any Q5.
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers indeed... so Audi q5 have another fuickup - torsen. Because it's cheaper and way worse drive than Haldex. Torsen it's a drive 1x4 wheels and you never guess which one.
@@vit.c.195 Torsen doesn't drive the wheels in Q5. It's a center differential, so it drives axles. It's a permanent, FR 40/60 mechanical system with 15/85 - 70/30 range. When that range (TBR) is exceeded, it uses traction control. Everything is known.
Why all comments say volvo wins if clearly audi has won? haha volvo did a good job here but i think Audi quattro and Subaru awd are the best awd in the market

There are tens of factors for driving in turns, not only awd system.

That's strange that Volvo failed the single left rear wheel test while in other videos that car did it easily.
It didn't fail, it passed...
In last test there is much more throttle on Audi than on Volvo...

So you turned off the Audi’s traction control, big deal. See what happens when you turn on diff locks with traction control!!
Traction control always on. ESP OFF in one test (indication on the screen). There are no diff locks in Q5.
