- Batman 40's mashup video.
Plot:
Gotham City is in the midst of a terrible war between two rival criminal gangs. On one side is the gang that has controlled the underworld until now, led by Oswald Cobblepot (alias "the Penguin") and his scientific assistant Hugo Strange (an expert weapons and traps manufacturer). On the other side is the gang of "The Clowns", led by a mysterious man known only as "The Joker," who is attempting to usurp power from the former. Death and destruction dominate the streets, and the police department is unable to halt all this chaos. However, all is not lost: a strange masked figure has emerged in the city and has begun dispensing justice on his own in a highly effective manner. He is THE BATMAN. Commissioner Gordon won't hesitate to ally with him to put an end to the crime wave.

The soundtrack of the Batman film is still awesome!
An eternal classic!
@@maddoctorfilms It SureAF was! It was no small part of what made the film an enduring classic.
You have ignited an urge in me to see this movie. Well done. Keep this kind of creativity coming, please.
🥺 oh, thanks mate!
Painful, isn't it?
The downside of these whimsical fake trailers . . . .
I want to see this movie!
Maybe in a elseworld! Thanks for comment.

Screenwriter- Leigh Brackett - nice touch
Thanks for appreciate it
I always thought thr 1989 movie looked like a Fritz Lang movie anyway.
True!
This is beautiful.
Thanks mate
Richard Widmark: Tommy Udo in Kiss of Death! Based on the Joker!
Totally works, right? 🤘🏾
66 Riddler Frank Gorshin based his laugh on Tommy Udo....
The Joker was based on Conrad Veidt's portrayal of Gwynplaine in the movie adaptation of Victor Hugo's "The Man Who Laughs".
Best Joker who wasn't even one.
@@barriolimbas Joker in all but name.
Producer: Val Lewton LOL I could totally see Val Lewton producing a Batman movie back in the day.
Yes, he was an obvious choice!
Is this seriously a lost trailer?? Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman? Really? Wow, this would have been fantastic!!
It's a fan made trailer but maybe in a another life... Who know?
Very well done.
Thanks!
Call me crazy but I enjoy the old style like movie serial pulp magazine story films Sky Captain in the World of Tomorrow is a movie I've watched several times.
Retro future is cool.
@@maddoctorfilms Gotta get me a DVD copy of *_Sky Captain,_* since I can no longer play my VHS copy.
Not a criticism as this is stunning, try an art deco font, it will lift it, and again stunning.
Good catch.
Great casting!
Yes! Thank you!
Muy Bueno....!!!!
Muchas gracias!
If only……
That would have been cool.
I would hope you make a video of the world mightiest mortal , Captain Marvel between 1954 to 1971. I am curious what you can whip up b
I could try! Thanks for the idea!
@@maddoctorfilms Not long before DC Comics revived Captain Marvel, the *_National Lampoon_* ran a strip depicting Billy Batson suffering endless frustration over being under an injunction to not say "Shazam!" At last, released from his legal stricture, Captain Marvel took off to "make the Seventies sing!"
It would be fun if your trailer began with Billy Batson, around 1963, walking past a newsstand where he sees early issues of *_Fantastic Four_* and *_Justice League of America,_* and then coming home to a letter which turns out to be legal notice that he'd been released from his court order.
@@johnburt7935 hahaha that would be funny!
@@maddoctorfilms If you like it, then *_DO IT!_*
I'd love to see it.
Wish this was real!!!
@@wallyg77 thanks, mate!
*Gregory Peck* would've been a PERFECT *Bruce Wayne!*
But *Conrad Veidt* ('Man Who Laughs') would be a better Joker than Widmark.
Veidt was my first choice, but I finally decided on Widmark because "The Man Who Laughs" has no dialogue. Besides, I wanted to give the Joker more gangster vibes. Even so, Veidt is a great choice too, of course. Thanks for the comment!
@@maddoctorfilms Can I ask how you gave Danny Elfman's score that "old movie" sound? Is it the original score?
@@king-fisher Easy: walkie talkie or toy sound effect with premiere.
@@maddoctorfilms Thanks!
