I had the privilege of seeing them on June 25th at Cleveland Municipal Stadium in 1977. That concert set a world record for the most concert goers 80,000+ for a single rock act. It wasn't broken for over 20+ years!!!!!
I was there April 22, 1977 at Miami Baseball Stadium I was 15 years old. Slowly made my way to the front. The sound was massive. Quadraphonic sound all over the Stadium. The last encore Us and Them...I'll never forget it. I was in shock the entire next week at School.
the radio music hall show from 72 or73, right after dark side was released is on youtube. Wow it's amazing, audience didn't even really know dark side!
00:00 Sheep (06th July 1977 & 09th May 1977) 12:04 Pigs On The Wing (Pt. I-V) (09th May 1977, 01th May 1977, 02th July 1977) 1:07:55 Welcome To The Machin (02th July 1977) 1:16:19 Have A Cigar (02th July 1977) 1:22:19 Wish You Here Were (02th July 1977) 1:28:46 Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. VI-IX) (02th July 1977 & 22th April 1977) 1:50:43 Money (02th July 1977) 2:01:50 Us And Them (09th May 1977 & 02th July 1977) 2:09:30 Careful With That Axe, Eugene (09th May 1977) 2:20:20 Blues (06th July 1977)
What a great mix. Nicely done. I know this is a mix, but the song order is consistent with how they performed during '77. A thought: I never understood why the Floyd opened the show with Sheep as the last few minutes of that song are really the climax of the entire Animals album, imo.
You're right, it is the climax. Since they didn't want to open with Pigs on the Wing because it's too quiet, Pigs (Three Different Ones), which has a more solid start, would've been a better choice to open the show with. What do you think?
Thank you VERY MUCH for posting this compilation. It was an excellent job, I enjoyed the f#ck out of listening to this, and now I want to take a break and listen to it again.
rogers live singing was never the best but in Pigs he needs to play one of the hardest bass riffs and sing really high. but man his screams, richards organ and davids solos omg
@@TheMRDanielGaming Roger played rhythm guitar when performing Pigs Three Different Ones. He also played the rhythm guitar track on the album. The awesome bass riff was played by David on the album and by Snowy White during the tour. 🙂

Waters had the creative talent to write great Lyrics and Music....the rest of the band were fantastic musicians. Both needed each other to successfully keep calling themselves Pink Floyd...in the end it got all a bit too greedy..Waters was the the genius behind the band..so really he was more entitled to keep the band name and not the others .The Final Cut should have been the end of Floyd. But it all went horribly wrong and a lot of bitterness ensued. From then on it was a totally different sound to Floyd and one that was bound not to be readily accepted by Floyd loyalists who could notice a lack of genius because of Water's absence. End of story. End of the real PinkFloyd.

I saw them at the old stadium in 94. How I wish, how I wish I was there in 77!

Was at Nassau - flew from west coast to see it - '77 tour saw them 9 times across the continent Portland to Montreal
I can’t forget that night on 1st May 1977, Fort Worth, TX. I thought that it was dream. 🎸
Saw one of the MSG shows in NYC on this tour. It wasn't a dream! It was real.

1977 what a great time
the best tour
Can't wait for the Wall tour shows! My favorite.
I was at the 7/2 NY show.
Oakland 1977 is the best floyd show from the in the flesh tour. Hands down
Winterland 1972 was also very good.
What amazing show

i went to the show at Tampa stadium best concert ever except maybe the back in black tour...acdc that was a good one to
NICE i seen Floyd in 94 and AC/DC in 96 in Toronto
love this animals version
I always thought Us and Them was an odd song choice for the encores. Time would have fit much better from a pure volume and dynamics view.
66 likes is what’s wrong with the world today
The world doesn't know good music brother! Floyd is the GOAT!!!
Unfortunately your right
Spit to fan's face on end of Pigs.

Nope, it happened during Money!!
Can't argue with the newly found film!
i heard a show from 1977 where they were doing pigs on the wing and some audience member is saying "his singing is so weak" forgot the date
rogers live singing was never the best but in Pigs he needs to play one of the hardest bass riffs and sing really high. but man his screams, richards organ and davids solos omg
probably from all that screeching lol
