Was a fan of baseball, and Yankees. Stopped in 2020 when they knelt in support of B*M, and against the Flag and Anthem. Haven't watched a game since, and I was really excited to see Gardner, Judge, and Cole...that is, until they exposed themselves as traitors - now I feel stupid for ever thinking the Steinbrenner kids were ever going to maintain the tradition of the Yankees.

Always thought Clemens was your typical stand-offish rich ballplayer. Until he came to watch his son play A ball (Albany NY) a Houston affiliate. Clemens also wanted to play a round of golf before leaving and wanted a club near the airport. Thst happened to be the club I belonged to. Clemens, his brother n law, and two members played a round with him. When Clemens saw any members approaching him for an autograph when he was on the tee or fairway he would wait for them and sign whatever they wanted . After golf he stood outside the proshop to sign and make small talk to any member who wanted to meet him. This lasted for a good hour, until his brother n law insisted they leave and not miss their flight home. I know this was long winded, but Roger Clemens is a stand up guy. Truly a class act!

Wouldn’t pitch to him like a man. Can’t stand Clemens and his “schtick”. The tragedy is that he could’ve been considered one of the all time greatest if he had not resorted to drugs to revive and extend his fading career . He instead chose chose greed and money over integrity and less money. All you see now is PR bull crap to inflate his public personna , hoping people will have short memories and the writers will anoit him a HOF er. Pure manipulation, pure insincere attempt to get what he desperately wants but doesn’t deserve. Clemens being Clemens. Leopards don’t change their spots. He’s a fraud of a human being who cheated and lied about it to make more money and fame. Nah.. 30 years later I’m still not buying it.

So tired of this stupid argument. Baseball is and always has been prone to cheating. There are current HOF's that are well known for their exploits. I'm certain that over half the hitters he faced were doing something. Besides, MLB didn't even start testing for these things until 2003. Such an overblown issue. If the numbers or on field greatness is there, players should get in. That simple. Clemens is simply one of the best to ever do it.

The Rocket would never take a knee for BLM. This is why I loved baseball during the 80s and 90s and you can't pay me to watch it right now.

Rocket, were you the one who stopped chewing tobacco & started chewing cherry stems? Was this for medical reasons? What were the medical issues? Did it cure it?

He was on steroids in his career. It's sad he took steroids, so he does not belong in the hall of fame.

I absolutely agree but I’m glad I’m old enough to have seen him pitch before the juice….You can say the same about Roger…he was that fucking good

I tell people all the time Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds were first-ballot hall-of-famers before the 98 season. Steroids does not make you a better pitcher or a better hitter you still need talent. There were a bunch of bums back then who were taking roids and didn't amount to Jack shit.

Baseball was so much better in the steroid era.

Kinda random bro but I think it’s slightly suspicious that “find single Ukrainian women near you” over and over I don’t use any dating apps and i am in the mountains down south.. that’s sketchy on multiple levels.. don’t get me wrong the pic is smokin’ hot though I could not verify her place of birth lol but a fresh supply of Ukrainian women jammed down your throat.. yea idk.. I passed one of them on the way to this video on UA-cam
