You can’t compare the taste of fresh pasta you make yourself at home, to the pasta you buy off the shelves. This recipe shows you how to make green spinach pasta from scratch. The colour is a beautiful healthy green, and you know there’s nothing artificial, as you made it yourself. A lot of people are surprised how simple it is to make.
You can cook fresh pasta in 2-3 minutes when fresh. Once you try fresh spinach pasta, there’s simply no turning back, fresh pasta simply rocks! You will need a pasta machine to get perfect pasta, otherwise you can still use a rolling pin and a knife, it will be thicker and more rustic but still taste incredible. Joel, very nice, spinach fettucini is one of my fave pastas, with a parm reggiano al fredo sauce, toasted italian garlic bread, i cut garlic gloves & rub the cut part on the hot toasted bread, delicious. Cheers mate !

Awesome recipe: Little detail. If possible let the pasta dry for some hours. It will be better for cooking(Less stick, better texture)

What if i don't have a pasta machine?can i just simply cut the dough?would that be ok?
Yes, roll it using a rolling pin and when you think it's thin enough then roll it some more. Needs to be very thin. Then roll the dough into a scroll and slice with a knife. Works well!

You can say arrivederci to your nice, 'clean', blue and white kitchen towel.
Use a cheap cheese cloth instead, or better yet, use a potato 'ricer' to squeeze the liquid out.
Can we use Swiss chard instead?
Can I use almond flour instead? This looks amazing but I want to convert this recipe into something that I can have in ketogenic diet.
Only one way to find out...
Though I imagine as gluten is what allows pasta to stretch so much, you might find yours doesn't have the same elasticity.

I'm going to blend the dry pulp from juicing spinach in my slow juicer with the eggs so nothing is wasted. Thanks
It needs to be dry though.

Can i know what is OO flour?
Oh my goodness, I wish I would have known you could wilt your Spinach without water. (I steamed mine yesterday, trying to preserve the vitamins) I just made *”Monster” Spinach Fettuccine yesterday with my 4 year old Grandson. We had the best time! He was a picky eater but after several visits to Nana’s and being my Sous Chef he wants to eat everything he makes! I’m definitely going to try it your way next time.

@@tareqmahmoud3941Got a Recipe that works? Because coconut flour is a whole different animal. It's absorption rate is far different from all purpose or fine flour. Please provide a recipe to compensate the absorption. And a suggestion, perhaps you should search for pasta based recipes that are specifically made with "nut" flours. Blessings!
