Other Tidbits:
The Voidz were originally scheduled to play one show in SF, but when that quickly sold out, they added a 2nd show, which sold out quickly as well. Everybody was excited to see them perform.
At ~6:40, Julian improvs what sounds like ‘At The Door’, a song which The Strokes released in 2020(!).
After Friday night's show, Julian came out relatively soon after the show ended, while there were at least a few dozen fans waiting near the tour van. He saw them all one by one, and didn't leave until every fan got a picture and a chance to chat with him, which was very nice.
Julian told me he recognized me in the crowd for both shows and as 'one of the people who waited in line super early' lol. I asked him if he found his sunglasses that he lost during the show, but he said no, and that it was 'lost to the universe...' :P
Later on, a fan gave Julian his sunglasses to replace the ones he lost. Julian joked that they were actually nicer than the ones he lost and thanked him a lot. Another fan gave Beardo a painted portrait on a vinyl and a booklet of drawings, and Beardo was so impressed that he went over to show Julian. Beardo recognized me as well, joking that he saw me surviving the mosh pit in the front row, lol. Great show!

I had not enjoyed a Casablancas song since 2003. What a shock it was to me that the finest and most ambitious rock song of the 2010s was his brainchild. Truly great art rock.

This song is so special to me for some reason, it’s one of my top favorite songs, it would be a dream to experience it live.

This song makes me so sad...yet beautiful. I think Julian is in the dark as are so many of us. I had it more together or thought I did 20yrs ago than I do today...@45. Death of cousins younger than me& alcoholism that I struggle with...I damn love this song tho. I play it about 3x's a day. Wonderful musicians...band. Love to all. Life is terribly short& another after this. Either glory or gory.
