"one of music's most innovative bands" that's the truth! still bummed i couldn't go. nice to see everyone in the band speak, so interesting. great band footage Promiseland! all the same at the end was cool...im so in love with the song!
I'm the only person I know who listens to The Voidz. Sometimes it almost feels like they're my little secret. But watching this makes me feel like I'm part of a big, beautiful Voidz-y community. Happy to be here!
The actual music part of this show was fucking mindblowing. Seeing the guys play (and sing) in person was unreal. For as much as I've listened to the albums and singles, and waited so long to get to a show, and watched videos from other shows... it was just 1000x better than I could have imagined. Beardo jumping all over the place while playing in a way I can't even hope to attain. Amir is just shredding and the extremely metal hair rawr! Jake brings the grooves as ever, I wish I could have seen him better. Jeff is a great musician and his explanation of how it forms a bond between the people in the room is so true - I sometimes imagine what it was like when all music was live music and a big part of socializing and life. Alex on drums is... I don't even have words, just insane (in a good way). And of course Julian bringing it all together and putting so much emotion into the vocals. Some of the experience stuff was pretty not-great by night 4 but just the performance was worth all the travel and expense. I wish every Voidz fan could see them live.
The most excited band in so many years ! Long live the Voidz, and I'm looking forward to hearing the next album... and experience it live. Tanks guys, your are so damn and dark good !
At the end, Jeff's hug and kiss to Jules 😍 so much brotherhood in this band! I love you guys and I want you to come to Latin America soon 😍 Who is the woman at the end that Jules hugs? his mom or is she a girl on the team? Great doc! Love it 😍
This was the best show I’ve seen in decades. The band sounded incredible, like a clockwork on a freight train. Amir was fantastic and Alexis Carapetis was psychotic. This shit gave me life.
A Beautiful Eventful Halloween, An I Missed It! lol The Guys still have there heart in it, and there Lovely Fans are The Punks of NowZ. Spectacular! Ps. Jules. The Phoenix Suns Suck. 😂
Man I love them so much, but when Jules says that he's worked with "other people" where maybe you're friends, but the music isn't there....um, Hello!!! we know you're talking about the Strokes!! Don't be mean to them! Poor Nick, Fab, Albert and Nikolai lol
This is such an alien scene to me. I also find music exhausting these days. I imagine people who make it must be terribly enthusiastic about it. I can't even listen to it as a background noise anymore.
"I work with people that sometimes you have a musical vibe but you don't get along, or sometimes your friends, but then the music's not there." Man, he hates The Strokes for real.
love this band but there's always this bad feeling i have whenever i listen to them knowing they never ever acknowledged the sh allegatiosn against beardo lol... too bad they're assholes
I love them so much..I wanna be their SnowWhite, cook for them, clean after them, wash their dirty socks, listen to their anacdotes and music...and lose the prince
Julian is the only one who really is an artist, the others are just musicians who think they are artists and it seems that they think they are more intelligent than they really are. Nobody will remember their names, only Julian will remain in history.
jeff‘s description of how music makes him feel is such a universal experience
Are you kidding me haha
Jeff's observation was so right, people from around the world, strangers to each other, meeting just to share this experience, amazing.
Always come back for 9:17.. Just for a minute Then stop And move on with life

the last night of this residency was fuckign trash
Yeah I heard about that…the afterparty was very “you’re not cool enough to be here” vibes
Why did they need to film this
I love the Voidz and NYC, but this is one of the most pretentious things I've seen in my life
