Great tips! I'm really struggling with my teenage daughter who also has autism and all the advice apply to her. I am learning to step back and just listen instead of giving advice, especially when she is so emotional and only has capacity to share her fears and anxieties. I figured out in those moments she is not even capable of listening to advice bc she's so caught up in her inner dialogue 🙃.
