Comparing the earnings of Poles and Americans makes no sense. He said that Poles earn about USD 5 per hour. Yes. This is approximately the lowest rate. But a Pole pays in Poland, not in the US.
Example. I just checked that bread in the US costs between $2.5-6.
In PLN it would be 10-24. However, currently, in the face of absurd inflation, bread in Poland costs about PLN 7 per kg. But in fact, you can get a loaf like in America (-2kg of sugar inside) for PLN 3-4.
So in short. Thus, Poles earn much less when converted into USD. But at the same time, the cost of living is 2-3 times lower. At the same time, the quality of food products is much higher.

You definitely need to start traveling and see it all with your own eyes :) But take care of the climate ;) I agree with this guy. Plastic smiles can be misleading. It's true that Poles don't smile much (the difference is huge compared to southern countries), but in reality they are friendly and willing to help.

Dear Americans - I have many friends in the states, and I personally think you are wonderful people. However, I also notice that in many cases you do not know what is really happening in the world. Maybe sometimes it's ignorance or naivety that America is the whole world and the rest is just the Stone Age. However, this man is right. I have been living in Poland for 40 years, so I know exactly what this man is talking about. Due to many difficult situations in the past, Poland knows the value of peace (two world wars). Therefore, taking care of peace is important to us. Europeans travel a lot - with us, spending a holiday outside your own country does not have to be a big challenge. We have a very good network of air connections. We have something called cheap airlines. Sometimes a flight from Poland to Spain can cost 50 dollars, sometimes even 25. Thanks to traveling, we can form true opinions about the world. Not a sentence based solely on TV or the Internet. I will be flying to Nepal with my wife soon, I personally know many Nepalese and people from India. I am glad that I can build my opinion based on personal experience. I wish with all my heart that in the future you will be able to explore the world in this way and share it with your viewers.

Poles love pets, especially dogs. Almost every family owns a pet. We also have an Animal Police to take care of the rights of those pets. Polish cities are walkable and public transportation is cheap, available to everyone. It's free for pensionists, combatants and people with disabilities who can't work due to their health. I like the US but I don't like homelessness and drugs being accessible.

Many folks are aware of Poland, truthfully I want that country for myself and my children. I want for them to enjoy playing outside, REWAL, my favorite place to swim, being able to live with no fear, and enjoy the freedom of being children. Yes, it safe. As GOD IS MY WITNESS, I want that safe place I had as a child. I hope they dont fall in a trap of illigal migrants. We worked too hard to bring Poland to where it is today.

@@Brownn.222 Best wishes to you and your country. Every country experiences difficult times, but dedicated citizens are the only ones who will improve it. Always watch the politicians, as they are not always working for the best interest of the citizens.
If you decide to visit Poland, I hope you have a wonderful time, there is much to see, as it is a very old country with a challenging history. Poles have had to fend off invaders so many times, and have learned to be very careful about who enters and how long they stay. It has become second nature to recognize people who are coming with ill intentions.
In the larger cities you will find many people who speak English, in the smaller towns, especially the older people, you will not find as many English speakers. Most Poles were forced to learn Russian when they were in school, at least for the 50 years from 1945 to 1995-ish, due to Soviet occupation. But English is now the more popular second language.
You will see roads which were built hundreds of years ago, constructed of carved rocks which fit like pussle pieces, and of course the salt mines. These are very old, but still operating. Many Polish men have worked the mines, generation after generation, in the same mine. Polish people are very hardworking, and have been building their country since before 966 when Poland become a recognized country. There is a long history, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Darling, most countries in the world are safer than the US, and all of Europe for sure. In most countries in the world, you can't buy or carry a gun - you have to have a special permit for a gun and pass a psychiatric examination beforehand.
As far as transport is concerned, it is very good in the whole of Europe - cities were built in a different way than in the USA -> in the USA transport is based on moving mainly by car and building residential areas outside the city centres. In Europe, city centres can be closed completely to cars and business centres can be built in different parts of cities and each district is connected to the centre by different means of public transport.

Check out the story of the miraculous image of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa, and how she became a Haitian goddess. There are also stories of black Madonna's throughout Europe. If you are planning to travel and find this interesting, you could make a video pilgrimage to those places while teaching people some unusual history. I think history shows how we are all connected, although not always in good ways. However there can be nuggets to be found like the Black Madonna story. Just an idea, since you expressed interest in Poland. I think I can safely say that Poles value humanity over everything else, and this is expressed in their Catholicism.
