I would put them in plant pots and then grow them on and then plant them out 100% successful, nice video thanks for all your information about this beautiful plant
😊 HELLOOoo..... From across the mountain in page county. I remember you from your other channel. Forsythia is my favorite bush, I look forward to it every spring crocus and daffodils. Thanks for the info on these plants I was going to go to Walmart and buy some but I think I'm going to try your method.
Hallo, I love this plant . I will try to plant Forsitya as you said. I will hope you are right and the plant grows. I have some in a vase and it’s still with yellow flowers. Do you think it s the right time to plant? Thank you!! Danke, greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭!
Hello, May I ask a question ? I see indeed young new leaves appearing, but I do not see any root. Did they survive after planting in the gound ? I have some stems in water. After more than a month, the new leaves are a bit "sad". Should I put them in the soil ?
Thank you so so much- your video is exactly what I needed for this branch of forsythia I grabbed the other day at my dads farm. I am going to do the same thing you did with the water bottle - I have a question though - my sister is going to plant hers now in the ground but it’s not even March yet - should I wait to put this in the ground? Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Don't do it in summer time. Do it in the fall when it starts to rain. They will start to root and you will see them grow like a normal plant next spring! The same thing for rose cuttings. They can also grow by layering in the fall.

Any update on these? I’d love to see them a year later!
Im doing this in upstate new york. I picked up cuttings theyve been rooted in pots about a year. 😊😊
That is awesome!
It is now almost July 2019, any updates on how your golden forsythia by your fenceline did?
I enjoyed this video. Thank you for explaining it clearly. Appreciate that
Hey looking to see if you had any updates on them! Thanks
What a great video. We have been wondering how to do this and now I know. Thank you.
Good video but forsythia does not have an n in it.
Sandy Ralston Thank you! The "n" was driving me nuts too!
🙄
I found it very charming. For Cynthia. I liked it.
"for-SITH-e-a" is how it is pronounced, instead of "for-CYNTH-e-a".
kvernon1 Thank you! I hope this guy has read the comments. NO "N" in forsythia! The word "moron" does have an "n" in it...

Hi, what was the result for you ? After how much time ?
Does it smell good..?
They do not have much of a scent.
Before I even noticed your hat I knew you were from VA from your accent!
thank you so much.
My dogs is eating ours at the bottom and it's still going strong like nothing has happened.

Back before the channel went AWOL with Aliens and bigfeet 🙄
It’s Forsythia NOT Fir Cynthia!!!
Hahaha petty people. Sit down Karen, he can call them whatever he wants.
He CAN but it’s still wrong and makes him sound stupid.
Zombiemom 😂😂pathetic. Get over yourself Karen
