Since there was a long discussion on Gojo: If you're weren't aware, because Gojo won the most recent popularity poll, a prize for it was a Gojo booklet that included Q and A by Gege and it gives more info about Gojo’s upbringing in his clan. Like his parents are alive. So additional stuff like that gives a bit more context for the mental framework of Gojo for his foundation within the Gojo clan.
Br's vocab words of the week Obstinate : stubbornly refusing to change one's opinion or chosen course of action, despite attempts to persuade one to do so. axiomatic : self-evident or unquestionable.
I think the uraume/sukuna paternal thing could be true, but in my opinion I think it’s more of a “you were here with me through thick and thin let’s reincarnate together and have a better time in the next life” Uraume’s hair is the same that it was in the Heian era flashback in the Yorozu fight, it’s just uraume looks like a kid in comparison to Sukuna cause Sukuna’s a massive dude lol
It's really funny to think that in 2006 during Hidden Inventory teen Gojo, teen Geto and a younger Yuki who may or may not have had domain expansion or RCT were the pinnacle of sorcery. The current era is definitively far more stacked with Yuta, Yuji, Megumi, Higuruma, Takaba, Kusakabe and even the likes of Angel or Hakari are notable additions.
I have a different interpretation of Kenjaku. Him being a true king of curses instead of sukuna. In a sense of how he acted out his plans and literally cursed Japan and the whole world for the culling game is very curse like. It reminds me back when nanami always say the baker lady getting cursed and had a harder time doing her job. once, nanami has exorcised the curse she became more happy and didn't understand why or why that even mattered in the first place. Likewise when Kenjaku gets killed by Yuuta. They didn't care anymore about the merger and what Kenjaku plan truly means, because it's now sukuna turn to get rid of next. This is my interpretation, there's a whole of why did Kenny left sukuna with something to do and why hasn't sukuna revealed what the true plan is of the merger, ect. And I give you that put I think those are answers will all remain unclear. However my interpretation Kenjaku as an individual still stand and there might be more things to explore of Kenjaku as a curse vs natural disasters curses as humans.
Started watching for the JJK discussion but the “Kreams is a Racist” bit really sold me on y’all’s dynamic. i think i speak for a lot of us by saying that we’ll be watching for awhile , JJK or not
@2:27:17 Going off of the nature of what creates you versus how you start to go to your personality. Right on personal choice, is very very different. People don't run defense on Naoya because he has a much more free expressive choice to be a misogynist, with continued influence of what that attitude entails Because of the heavy-handed patriarchal elements of his family and what Japan had at the time. Versus gojo's insulate. Lifestyle being taken away from his mother and father because of his birth and being put on a pedestal. Saying "you chose, what you chose" Eliminates all the contextual influences. That young boy was going into the teenagers. Experience because your thoughts aren't necessarily your own. People can run defense for these characters, but because of how the author presents them, they don't.
I have been watching you guys since episode 14 it's been a great ride even though ending was off for me I will always love JJK and I will always be watching the true honored ones
I think the second woman at Sukuna's cross roads, was Tengen, they have a history, she had possession of his mummified corpse, and the robes shes wearing at the cross roads, looks very much like the cloths Sukuna's body was wearing. I think there was a past where him, Kenny and Tengen could have had a trio life together like our main cast.
The only viable threat for a JJK pt2 is a reincarnated Mahito heavily implied to have Sukuna esc potential and a personal connection to Yuji, could allow him to keep his previous memories based on his cursed technique
Kreames, it’s okay for you and BR to disagree, you both don’t have to be on the same side of an issue (Look to the discussion of Gojo’s character to see what I’m talking about). That said, Kreams stop interrupting BR all the time, damn.
Maybe if they get together and have a kid, they could eventually be in Gojo’s position. The child could learn from Yuji as his sensei like Gojo was his.
I agree but instead of 30+ chapters 50-100+ would elevate jjk from a solid 8 to a 10. I'm not talking tacked on at the end I mean added on to previous arcs and woven thru the events that happened fleshing out Gege's ideas
they said it a while ago, i don’t remember exactly what they said but: they either said they dropped it (cuz there were sections of part 2 that were garbage) OR they don’t think chainsaw man has enough good stuff to talk about it every single week
@@kvngslatt_ Lol they talked about every single little detail in the most mid manga of all time that is JJK, but do not talk about CSM, because it had slow build up for half of part 2 to the one of the most hype moments in animanga history (Yoru vs CSM, which is rivaling Gojo vs Sukuna on its online hype btw). These 2 are clowns and JJK dick riders, I really hope they do not touch peak manga as is CSM with their battle shounen idled brains.
so im watching the whole stream and im at 3:32:14. And it looks like they dont really like the manga that much which is sad cause id love to see more coverage of it
@@cheese-id8op They are JKK dick riders that think that JJK is 9/10 even after that stinking ending, what else do you expect, actual reading comprehension that you need to understand CSM?
@@cheese-id8op in my honest opinion, i don’t think either of them are intelligent enough to understand Chainsaw Man. Reading comprehension is a must have for Csm and neither of them have that much ngl
@2:03:47 aside from ronins gaslighting none of what gojo said tracks because 1. Yuta's plan to use his body it's literally falling into his footsteps that Gege set up as a method of what not to do and there was no consequences for it. Using go to as a mouthpiece to talk to your fan base was a waste of panels and continues to show that he didn't care. People love to use the fact that he was going through stuff and was sick, these pages don't give me the idea that a man wanted to give an honest ending was present. 2. The idea of showing sukuna love and his confidence going into it pre 271 aren't even the same character and the fact that this author continued to poorly articulate grievances continue the glittering light on his inability to finish properly.
