Who's the greatest alter ego in sport? 👇
its messi becuase he is so humble and confused outside the pitch but is insane when he is inside the ground
@@theantrix19 a guy who makes millions and cheats his country on taxes? Yeah right...great role model
Mike tyson
Cr7 or Mj
Black mamba
Calmness, unbothered.
Love it 👊
I’ve created one naturally. Zero fear whatsoever, even if I know I could die, my confidence defuses all dangerous situations.
Love it 👍
5:26 is a important key that really hit
I’ve been doing this and didn’t even realize. Every time I lift, I put on my favorite baseball hat and that seems to put my right into the zone where failure isn’t an option. Great video!
Love it- keep it up 🧢🏋️
Really relatable, everytime I go into the gym even if it's legday I put on wriststraps, eventhough I don't use them for the majority of all exercises and it just puts me in the zone.
Sergio Ramos is perfect at this. He is a beast and a bit of a hothead when playing but off the pitch he is very calm
Great example 👍
Black Mamba is created by Todd Herman with Kobe
Todd Herman is the author of
Alter Ego Effect book
This is exactly what I was looking for, amazing video once again Sam !

The history explained about it 2:00
Fascinating topic. Todd Herman’s book on the topic is an enlightening insight as to how any of us can use it, in multiple ways.
Keep up the great work Sam. Your channel is simply superb!
Thanks Jeffrey - good to see you in the comments again 👍 amazing topic indeed and one I think is underrated!
Thanks for the video! It helped me find my alter ego in football, who is a great leader, a good sportsman but agressive while defending
Love it - solid combo 💪
The number one trait my alter ego will embody is mastery, I'm studying engineering but I also play football and I love music and at some point I couldn't find songs that represented what I was going through so I started making my own music. I came up with the name MAK and never before did I think it could be used as an alter ego. It stands for mastering all of Kings. So overall it would be me being confident in and unapologetic about everything I love and enjoy doing. I sometimes feel bad about being so good at so many things but I realise now that I'm only that good because I work towards being like that so yeah. I just need to develop a ritual for becoming MAK. Thank you for the amazing insights and awesome video
This is awesome - mastery such a good trait to strive towards 👏 thanks for sharing
Wow I play football and study engineering too
incredibly high value video, i didnt even realize this was a thing, i thought i was crazy for thinking about this vivid "alter ego" zone when i'm on the court or the ring, i noticed my performance drastically lowered when i was "off" that zone and vice versa, literally feels like i'm a literal movie character or something

Thanks man 👍 hope it helps with crafting your own alter ego
You woke me up from the obscurity I have been sleeping in, watching your videos has completely swapped me to a newer version, thank you Sam.
Love it 🙌 hope you keep growing as this new version of yourself 💪
Very sanitized information about alter ego. I really enjoyed it.
What stick really is that you explained that the need to have alter-ego is based on some inconfidence you have - so this sounds like a coping mechanism.
Ideally you should solve the problems you have "confidence" instead of curing the symptoms... Can you share some thoughts on this?
absolutely 👍 i really see the alter ego as a way to tap into the very best version of yourself. It only has benefit if you truly believe the traits of your alter ego are authentic to you. It allows you to detach from the things that make you more human/vulnerable and then purely focus on enhancing your best traits that contribute to high performance.
My will be The Limitless Soul, I have every trait and everything. I do anything. I’m Limitless. I have not limit to potential or Development in anything.
ego is not the enemy
Truth 👏
One of the best videos in the channel🔥🔥

Thanks bro. Good luck with that 🤝
@@SamMartinPeakPerformancehow do you find a name
@@j2wavvy498 have a brainstorm of any characteristic you think your alter ego best stands for. Use that as a basis and just play around listing out any name that comes to mind. Typically the right one will emerge
congrats on 10k, deserved
Thanks man and thanks for being one of the subs! 🙌
Sometimes my alter ego stays in my personal life and that ruins my friendships and more
Definitely a hard thing to do. Much like anything it’s a skill and something that needs practice. One thing is to maybe think about have a ‘winding down’ routine to get out of the alter ego after games/practice
Dope video low key
Rest In Peace Kobe Bryant
great work
Appreciate it bro!

Excellent, good luck crafting your alter ego!
@@SamMartinPeakPerformance thx sam ur videos are amazing keep up 🤗
Preach
Can you tell me more about alter ego i have created the traits, character and trigger but still i don't believe i am playing the character what to do more?
Changing your beliefs takes time. And always fully believing you can enter this new character is tough. It's natural for your brain to be resistant at first. As said towards the end of the video you have to practice using/becoming your alter ego. Like anything else, it's a skill. Just be patient and if you still struggle you may need to change some of the traits to ones that feel more natural
@@SamMartinPeakPerformance thank you very much man!🙏🏻🙏🏻
Every athlete has an alter ego people just flaunt that ego differently, the more popular or rather better than the average athlete have a higher ego. For example Neymar on the pitch he walks like he doesn’t a fuck who’s there his the shit and is carefree when he plays his the shit but in interviews his more
soft spoken and kind and comes off a bit shy. It’s interesting really
Absolutely - great example with Neymar, solid analysis 👍
For the algo
could you do a video on fixing a crap attitude/mentality or how athletes overcome this please? thanks
Will add it to the list 👍
Bueno, Seguro de si mismo, Mente fría
Mike Tyson was allways a menace
Blue lock
My alter ego is called big daddy
I’m sure your teammates love calling you that 😅
aren't they contradicting with the saying
"be real" , "believe in yourself"??
cons:
"she only love you in your fake identity"
The question is how?
I list the steps in the video 😅
@@SamMartinPeakPerformance no you just listed the benefits of doing it and where Kobe got the idea for his but not how it is done
@@MartialFitness656 did you watch the whole video bro?
6:58 - Step 1 Define your alter ego
7:39 - Step 2 Name your alter ego
7:56 - Step 3 Create an alter ego routine
8:20 - Step 4 Practice using your alter ego
8:44 - Step 5 Evaluate + adjust your alter ego
@@SamMartinPeakPerformance yeah i did and like a lot you don’t explain how to properly at least you explain what others are, you don’t actually say anythin in how to separate them, how to actually do the steps just that those are the steps, its like saying to a football player the way to improve is to train and to get better at shooting but not explain how
@@MartialFitness656 the whole point of an alter ego is that it's personal and fundamentally unique to each person. That means the individual themselves has to take responsibility to craft it given they know themselves best. These are clear prompt instructions that allow those willing to do the work develop their alter ego.
I want to congratulate the Kobe Bryant of sex work, the inspirational rags to riches story - the hotel worker who made millions off having sex with Kobe one time. I am calling her the Kobe Bryant of sex work because if you can make millions off a single sexual encounter, that puts your hourly rate as a sex worker at probably higher than Kobe's average hourly rate as a basketball player.
1. For those who are complaining about using the word sex worker to describe her - is sex worker a bad word now? I thought sex work was real work and those who don't respect sex workers are misogynists.
2. This is also a factual description because getting paid for consensual sex (she admitted it was consensual and dropped the case) is literally the definition of working as a sex worker.

Unlocked New Charecters forget Jail put em all in extreme shock treatment in mental asylum of gotham
Alter ego equals demonic possession
Thumbs down. Kobe is a sht example - but you say it with such confidence. There are far better examples than the people you chose (except Michael). These people were douches on an off the court and/or the same when not fighting. (Michael Jordan is GOOD example.... Kind man off the court, unforgiving on the court.
Thanks for taking the time and offering your opinion. I'd have to disagree given the countless testimonies there are from people who knew Kobe that say he was incredibly nice/kind/generous off the court. Who would you say are some better examples?
Killer monger
Its an alt account which in which you max out 😂
