I love how innocent Ann seems talking to the audience. Referring to Magic Man as "the first single that did anything." She absolutely crushes this song. What a band.❤
This song goes deep for me. One of my earliest memories is listening to the 45rpm single of this. Everytime it gets to the third verse I expect it to start skipping lol. Watching this now, I am blown away by how locked in this band is, but especially the drummer. They are sooo tight! So many thoughts and feelings
Ann was a talent beyond compare at this point. I remember being mesmerized by this song as a small child and I still am... every time it comes on the radio. She bridges the gap between the heavy rock kick butt stuff and Joni Mitchell type folk magic.
2 great things that mom did was - 1 brought me into this world and - 2 told me about and played this on the radio when i was a little guy..... mom was a rocker

It's interesting seeing Nancy playing an electric guitar during this period. Normally when I see her playing any guitar from this era it's usually an acoustic guitar and not an electric. In fact, it wasn't until later on that she really played more electric guitars.
I was just a six year old child when this gig went on. but, man if I were the age of a 23 year old guy at the time, I would have been mesmerized by these "magic" sisters.
She look better then Janis in that time, later she went to big for my taste , but she wil never ever sing as good and so much soul and pain like Janis did man
SUPERFABULISTIC!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone wanting to skip all the "Gene Krupa", go to 7:20. Again----WOW!!! I KNOW how hard it is to emulate Mr.Roger Fisher!!! Thanx much. Gb bg
What a kick in the NUTS!!! That was KILLER, Solid ROCK IN YOUR FACE! Absolutely AMAZING BAND........Seen them back in 78 at Aloha Stadium with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts also in the line-up Blue Oyster Cult. Man, this is Great, Thank you for Posting this Beauty..........🎸💚
Great stuff. I wonder if the bass player and drummer would have believed you if you told them they would be a in a Heart Tribute band 30 years later. (Heart by Heart)
Awesome guitar and voice. One of the first Heavy metal song, this one and barracuda was metal, not hard rock, metal, real and good metal. One of my favorites songs ever.
It's so hard to say, but I don't care if they got along or not. This was by far one of the best bands in the land they should've over-looked their differences and never broke up.
fucking AAAAAA fantastic- Saw them in the MOTOR CITY 3 Times.............awesome shows!!!!!! DETROIT audiences are the GREATEST rock n roll audiences in the world!(Bob Seger, in 1975, at his LIIVE Bullet concert-that album recorded at Cobo Hall, Detroit-told a sold-out crowd, “Rolling Stone magazine just wrote that Detroit audiences are the best Rock N Roll audiences in the world. Shit, I have know that for 10 years.” -Said Seger.
Wow. What a privilege to see this classic from Heart in its beautiful raw state and live taping. Ann Wilson was pure "it factor" and pure talent. So much crap now. Nobody unique with everything voice overlapped or dubbed and doctored up. It's all for the visual, in-your-face overkill and shock value. The only thing really shocking is the talent void and the absence of genuine art in a understated performance that speaks for itself. It's not music. There's no soul in it now. Wine gets better with age ...but not rock and roll.
If you listen closely near the end of the drum solo you can hear the sticks smack each other super hard a event that could almost completely screw you up LOL
@TimeTime Can't blame anyone for not wanting to give their life for Jewish banksters. They're still at it too. Iraq, Libya, Syria, and soon....Iran. Not to mention many others.
Ann Wilson has the best voice, in Classic Rock, no other woman can compare to Ann's voice. The Wilson sisters are the Queens of Rock, until they went Pop, in my opinion.
Michael Derosier is a very underrated drummer.
The whole band was very good. Unfortunately when a band has chicks in it, they’re the ones that get all the attention.

one of the coolest rock bands ever. Amazing Musician ,expecially Ann Wilson.
Mike is a monster........stylish, smooth drum exchanges at 6:50, and great doubles!
This is the best version of Magic Man
Ann is/was phenomenal. That voice!
Easily one of the greatest rock anthems of all time. 'Nuff said.

That's pretty much the best drum solo ever.
Great band, all great musicians... is it any wonder that young boys dreamed about those sisters though? Still in love.

I think this is their best track. The vocals, the music, the lyrics . Such a climactic musically sound masterpiece.
That single grabbed my spirit when I was 10 years old. (It just came out). Been playing ever since!
Michael Derosier is amazing!
Eight minutes of awesomeness

They say Janis Joplin is the queen of rock Ann Wilson's vocal and looks in her prime blow Janis Joplin out of the water
Looks definitely voice I don't think so

Bollocks kid.
It's not a competition
Ann Wilson is tops for rock singing.
Janis is the Queen though.
ann is so beautiful.
Roger Fisher is so underrated dude, damn.....

Derozier on drums was a beast! Beautiful doubles and cross-overs!
Influenced by Bonham?
He was also killer cool in the band Alias.
Great drumms solo.
