It looks nifty but it also brings up a lot of questions, Like, What happens to the load space in the box, since this would cut into that space, which takes away possible profits. And, Since the cab and box move seperate, How is this supposed to stay sealed from the outside weather, At the end of the day, I feel like it would be more handy to simply extend the frame a bit, and place a small sleeper, like a small coffin sleeper, in between the cab and box. It would probably be a bit more expensive to do, and it would make the wheelbase a bit longer, but it would probably be less of a head ache and possibly end up being more durable than this.
@STTJAY64 You go for it hero! Maybe if you were running an 18 wheeler with an apartment built on the back, you could spend 5 months on the road, but most likely you’ll get tired of being in such cramped quarters and with having limited storage for food, you’ll spend a lot of those $$$ on fast food! I could be wrong and maybe you could spend 5 months on the road, but I’m sure you’re gonna have cabin fever before you have 4weeks in the truck on the road!
@@100realtorah3 brokers require 26ft cargo space, lift gate & pallet jack. If you don’t meet those requirements they won’t book the load with you. Most people have a 26ft but make a bed inside the cargo space & now you have a 24-22ft truck instead of a 26ft now you no longer meet the requirements. I can tell you they now ask the question. Do you have all 26ft cargo space? Because of this becoming so popular
Brokers have no issues with a sleeper, in fact, they wouldn't be able to tell, it looks as solid as the original wall. We have hundreds of trucks being booked daily without issues
@@TruckingSolutionsX you’re actually wrong. Yes they don’t have a way of knowing. But they are NOW starting to ask if you have a sleeper in the cargo space. Booking a load as a 26ft truck but not having all 26ft is a risk your taking. Yes not all loads require the entire box but when you do get those loads you’ll be turned around cuz the cargo doesn’t fit.
Good job. Ignore the sofa critics. This is the perfect solution for box truck owners.
Truck stops sell curtains you can hook to your visors, seat belts to give you more private space in the cab as well. Nice design
Great idea hats off driver. But normally the van part and cab move differently on unlevel ground how does it do that with your modifications???
Add solar panels to ur roof and a battery bank inside and u could run a a/c or heater .
@chilymack2321
Or you could get an APU to mount under the cab or the box on the passenger side.
@AzzKicker-bz1cb thats old tech why would I do that when I know better
Connected to the box That’s neat but need this for a day cab semi

How many feet is the trailer ?
I’m confused on how the space in the back goes into the trailer? It’s like magic
Can you do this to a 26ft reefer box truck
Oh, boy I’ll be getting it in $$$$ wouldn’t come home for five months !!!

Hello where did you get your box truck from?
Wow super nice
Serious question. What kind of hauling would be done in a truck like this?
Construction supplies, military supplies, surfing equipment, anything 2000-3000 pounds
Is this for sale?
What did that cost, how long did it take and how much did it add in weight
The installation only takes 1 to 2 days. The price is listed on the website
It add About 400 pounds

Nice👍🏿 What's the cost of that sleeper job & how long did it take to do it? Thanks for the video 👍🏿
Sleeper in a box truck? The Otr guys better be getting good pay then if you want them to drive across country in a little box truck
The problem with this is brokers don’t want to book loads with people that have sleepers in the cargo space
What's the problem with having the sleeper in your boxer?

You need to tell your dispatch the actual dimensions for, that way they can look for loads that is going to fit…
Nice
First, i thought it was a illusion
Где ты там кушать готовишь?
From the other side, it looks like a regular box truck
