    Please make more boxtruck videos. As far as how to book loads, and getting started in the business.

    Sleeper larger than I thought for a straight truck. What does that leave you with as far as payload area? Is there a real demand for non cdl straight trucks for otr hauling? That shot of coming out the tunnel and facing those Utah mountains covered in snow was pretty nice! Stay safe.

      Yes it’s a pretty good demand, enough to keep you busy. Thanks! it was beautiful driving in that area

      good video friend, I would like to know since I have a box truck just like that how I can get those loads and if you use ELD to travel

    • @RickDeckardMemories
      @RickDeckardMemories Місяць тому

      @@asereqbola6851 Yes, you need ELD, and you must follow the exact rules for hours as Class 8 vehicles. No CDL required under 26000lbs GVWR. But driver needs the same medical exam as CDL drivers, every 2 years.
      If you stick to fueling at one of the 3 big networks (Pilot, Love's, or TA), you can easily acquire enough points for unlimited free showers at truckstops.

    Sleeper is super roomy... but obviously cuts into cargo space.
    What is left for cargo, 20ft?

    How do you like the Hino truck? I drove an almost brand new one for a courier service several years back and I really liked it.

    Need to get locking fuel caps, people will siphon your tanks when sleeping.

      I drove this for a friend of mines. He made it himself, the construction looked simple and straight to the point. i’m sure it took maximum about $1000 in material or so
