This isn't me deciding a winner, but while i do like anger in a rap, it's hard to look intimidating when your opponent doesn't give off the same energy

I love how Spot gets progressively more angry as the video continues as he realises W.D. Gaster doesn't care and only holds mild curiosity for him. Everything felt like it was planned from the beginning by the monster, with Spot being at the palm of his hands. So, in a way, it was predetermined.
I think Gaster won just beacuse of two reasons. How little he cared about The Spot and how much he got under his skin. In Gaster's first verse, he doesn't once address The Spot directly like a test subject. Gaster messed up Spot's second verse only to see his full potential, which was still underwhelming in his eyes. Its kinda like the whole battle was an experiment.
… but in terms of this being a rap battle, Spot 100% had the better verses. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter that Gastor viewed the whole thing as an experiment, cause his verses just weren’t as good as Spot overall
@@Flump-Master Gaster's attitude and disinterested trolling the Spot's second verse hits about 1000% harder than anything the Spot says besides the canon event line.
I love how Gaster didn’t even seem to make an effort to diss his opponent, and was just trying to use Spot to get out of his predicament. Like the whole thing was just an experiment to him, and in the end just comes to terms with the fact that he will never be repaired.
This battle was quite an interesting one. For their first verses, Spot and Gaster had a lot of punches and were genuinely going after each other. Then there’s this middle section of Spot going through multiverse stuff, and Gaster’s followers taking shots at him. This was probably the most entertaining, memorable part of the battle. But then when it came to their second verses, Spot and Gaster had a LOT less disses, and a lot more of just normal rapping. Which makes it hard to determine a winner out of the two. But I have made a decision. Spot had good disses in there and the battle was really close, but I think when it gets THIS close, that’s when other factors come into play. In Spot’s 2nd verse, It’s hard to find any hard-hitting disses except for the very end with the canon event line. Most of Spot’s 2nd verse was full of threats or very angry rapping. Meanwhile in Gaster’s 2nd verse, he barely has any disses too. But I think there are three main factors that in my mind give Gaster the win : .Gaster’s lines against Spot weren’t just playful disses. They got pretty personal and he was genuinely trying to go for deep cuts with Spot as a character which I found a lot more effective than “How was the fall?” Stuff like “And your family’s In your past now, Like a shadow, *You were cast out.”* Was *mad* disrespectful, and I loved it lol. .Gaster’s verses felt more entertaining to listen to in general. I enjoyed the direction of him treating the rap battle as an experiment and him seeing Spot as just being a test subject whilst still sneaking in some mean disses here and there. The constant glitching was also a great touch, things like that definitely helped capture Gaster’s cryptic, mysterious character very well. .Gaster staying completely calm after Spot goes off and gets angry also isn’t a very good look for Spot; it shows that Gaster just doesn’t take him seriously. He sort of just shrugs off the aggressive energy by telling Spot he disappointed him, and then goes straight back to dissecting his character further. This makes me lean more towards Gaster especially after him retaliating with “My domain remains Spotless”. I expect that I’ll probably be in the minority when saying that Gaster wins, but oh well!
legitimately, Gaster disinterestedly trolling Spot in Spot's own second verse hits way harder than anything Spot said besides the canon event line without even having to say anything.
@@user-ww2rq9dd4q I'm guessing the line is aimed at Gaster's irrelavency. He's not referring to a "Canon Event", like in Spider-Verse. He's just referring to an event in canon.
@@user-ww2rq9dd4q gaster does not actually appear in game in the vast majority of playthroughs, so much that his canonicity could be questionned Alternatively, almost nothing is known of gaster, and any coherent representation of him is based at least partly in speculation (for example his appearance was never actually confirmed to be the mystery man sprite), so there is currently no known "canon" version of gaster
OH MY FUCKING GOD?!?! THIS IS LITERALLY SPECTACULAR, FRESHY! The video is godlike, The Spot's animation is incredible, and Gaster's side helps make him even more sinister. JT Music and Shwabadi killed it, I could barely even tell that Shwabadi was voicing Gaster! The multiverse traveling was just awesome, and I know I already praised the video, but I just need to say that the Spot's second verse was just a visual spectacle. To put the icing on the cake, the disses were pure heat. It only took me one watch of this battle to know it was something special, fantastic job to everyone involved.
@@SwagDragonX7 Well kinda… Imo, Gaster won, but in the second verse, the Spot travels through multiple portals, each with a different type of animation, like that one scene in the Bill vs Discord battle.
Mentioning how he has a cult of followers and then calling him the "Royal Scientologist" was very funny to me, for some reason- Gaster's lines were also great- Good work!
Just finished watching the battle, and holy shit was it amazing! The whole sequence with The Spot entering different styles was insane! Fantastic work, Freshy, this might be your best year yet!
2:08 JT and Shwabadi both came out of nowhere with such unique and banger verses, but JT absolutely MURDERED here. The emotion, the animation, and the verse itself just goes so hard! "Finally get one canon event" is absolutely vile to Gaster holy shit. It wasn't quite a landslide, but Spot definitely took this one. Amazing work m8!
I JUST noticed that 2:51 teased future battles. There's Candyman's hook, the lamp, I'm assuming the thing in the foreground might be for Moonknight but I can't quite make it out. No clue on the phone though.
This is genuinely a masterpiece. I think this is my favorite ERB style rap of all time. The voices are on point, the flow is immaculate, the creativity in the editing and the work put into the production is breath taking. The verses and wordplay are incredibly strong on both ends, while ending on one of the coldest final lines I've ever heard. It only elevates it that I'm a sucker for the mix of existential horror and dread this battle is themed on. Just genuinely 11/10, I have no complaints. Incredible job to everyone involved, I'm gonna have this on repeat for years to come.
This may be your best looking battle yet. And Spot's second verse is amazing in terms of the animation used and the "found you" is the highlight of the battle
"Since you speak in hands, you can translate what mine say when wrapped around your neck" 2:27 I'm really surprised nobody else payed attention to this line-
This is a legitimate work of art, hats off to you. The storytelling and just plain layers there are in this rap battle could fit a two hour theory video.
Gaster wasn’t even participating in the rap battle tbh, he was on his own mission, and decided to rap while doing it. that non-chalant disrespect got him the dub in my book. It doesn’t matter how much spot put into his lines, he constantly came across as someone who’s trying infinitley too hard against someone who doesn’t care and it fits perfectly
fan of both fandoms here, absolutely stoked to see this anyway AND jt music plays the spot. amazing work, the references and disses combined are awesome
I swear the last lines for both Gaster and spot in second verse were insane especially Spot’s “You’ll finally have one cannon event!” And Gaster just also just throwing another line to anger him “My domain remains SPOTLESS”
Jesus christ, actually your best battle to date by a landslide. Completely blown away by EVERYTHING in this battle, Animation, Lyrics & Beat, Performances, all AMAZING!
Everything about this slaps like the animation, beat, voice acting and writing. I was also not expecting there to be different animation styles in spot’s 2nd verse. Good job Freshy Kanal and all those who helped out! 👏
What the HECK this was a real trip. I did not expect it to go this wild, excellent job. It's a pleasure seeing you pushing the boundaries for this genre!!!
even though i believe Gaster's victory was Spotless, i gotta admit Spot's line "Since you speak in hands you can translate what mine say when wrapped around your neck" is the HARDEST line in the song
I think this might be one of the best Rap Battle animations I've ever seen, legit Spot's dimensional travel was greatly incorporated, major props to the animators! And the Gaster Followers were amazing with the follow-up of Spit snapping while Gaster responds with psycological warfare. I'mma have to give it to Gaster in the end but both did amazing! Great job to all involved!
I wanted to do a tad bit bit of research on both to familiarize myself with them prior to watching this battle, but that ended up taking some weeks. But hey, I’ve finally got to watching this, and this was such a well-made battle. I honestly find both sides enjoyable to listen to (minus the parts in which The Spot makes empty death threats to W. D. Gaster) and I REALLY enjoyed the visuals in The Spot’s verses, especially the ones involving the different dimensions The Spot was going through. As for who I thought won, I’m giving it to W. D. Gaster. In addition to counting more viable “hitting” disses from his end overall, The Spot’s death threats held down his performance/score here. I’m satisfied that I can finally say that a character voiced by Shwabadi won a rap battle IMO and that an Undertale character finally won a Freshy Kanal battle. Everyone who worked on this deserves a pat on the back for their good job(s) and in the end, the product here is spectacular.
@@HB-fq9nn to you they did; that doesn’t mean I have to agree with you. Though I do need to mention that for a while, I didn’t know who, to me, won Knuckles vs. Undyne. I eventually had enough reasoning to side with the former, however.

THIS CHANNEL DOESN'T MISS!!!!!! After the masterpiece that was Kratos vs. Maui, I was pleased to see yet another hype battle, the battle of the white people (joke). But really though I was thinking Shwab would be The Spot but JT Music absolutely killed it. The animation is straight outta Spiderverse and the bars like you're just a bug, I'm known for stomping them, and the easter egg, and Royal Scientologist. That CORE-set bar was fire too, but I think the hardest bar goes to you'd see millions of me before you're finished game's released because we will probably get Mother 3 before a full release of Deltarune (not really). Swab then pulled an Azia from Power vs Nesuko by not doing his usual rap style, colder bars like Webding scheme, bagel bread, Dr. Ohms off switch, and the kill to escape. (I think I'm missing a double on predetermiation someone please help. I do give the slight edge to the Spot though. Then, the 2nd verse comes which honestly rivals Rick Sanchez's 2nd in terms of animation (CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHO THE BENDY GUY WAS), and then JT Music goes all out for the Spot's transformation and you being killed would be your only canon event because nobody talks about Gaster in Undertale canon. But I'm sorry but Gaster takes the 2nd and it's almost not even close. Thay cast out bar was 1 frame away from a Don Demarco (did you catch my pun?) I just realized Spot's "How was the fall?" Line was both a reference to the Undertale Rap and a reference to how Gaster fell into the core. Genius
Funnier is that JT Music voice the spot
0:56
He really hit em with the club Penguin
Never noticed that thats epic
This has to be your best visual performance yet. This looks insanely good. Also how the hell can Shwabadi do that voice
I love how Gaster didn’t even seem to make an effort to diss his opponent, and was just trying to use Spot to get out of his predicament. Like the whole thing was just an experiment to him, and in the end just comes to terms with the fact that he will never be repaired.
This might be the best rap battle ever made im not even exaggerating
This might be the truest comment ever made I’m not even exaggerating
Actually you know what this and Noelle vs Sayori are kind of tying with each other lmao
But I think there are three main factors that in my mind give Gaster the win :
.Gaster’s lines against Spot weren’t just playful disses. They got pretty personal and he was genuinely trying to go for deep cuts with Spot as a character which I found a lot more effective than “How was the fall?”
Stuff like
“And your family’s
In your past now,
Like a shadow,
*You were cast out.”*
Was *mad* disrespectful, and I loved it lol.
.Gaster’s verses felt more entertaining to listen to in general.
"And you'll finally get one canon event"
Jesus Christ, Spot fucking slaughtered him
Incredible
Wait does that line even work?…
Gaster should have a canon events because i would assume the fall into the core was a canon event-
@@user-ww2rq9dd4q I'm guessing the line is aimed at Gaster's irrelavency. He's not referring to a "Canon Event", like in Spider-Verse. He's just referring to an event in canon.
That's I mean
@@user-ww2rq9dd4q gaster does not actually appear in game in the vast majority of playthroughs, so much that his canonicity could be questionned
Alternatively, almost nothing is known of gaster, and any coherent representation of him is based at least partly in speculation (for example his appearance was never actually confirmed to be the mystery man sprite), so there is currently no known "canon" version of gaster
*HOLY SHIT. YOU GOT JT!*
*THE ART STYLE CHANGES, THE FLOW HE GOT, NO MERCY FROM HIM!*
I almost have no words for this. I'm in genuine awe, favorite battle of yours of all time for me I think, WOW
This is the Bill vs Discord of rap battles. Death Battle fans will get the reference.
Ahh yes i remember that
Because spot won but gaster trapped him?
@@SwagDragonX7 Well kinda…
Imo, Gaster won, but in the second verse, the Spot travels through multiple portals, each with a different type of animation, like that one scene in the Bill vs Discord battle.
@@forillafax2169 yea but still the portals were cool but with the gaster light disses in spots second verse it was kinda a waste of time
Yeah... yeah no, that's my thoughts exactly.
Mentioning how he has a cult of followers and then calling him the "Royal Scientologist" was very funny to me, for some reason- Gaster's lines were also great- Good work!
because it's a great bar, that's why
The Spot traveling through different dimensions has to one of my favorite segments EVER in a rap battle
0:56 seeing the spot doing the club penguin dance was not something i expected to see in 2024 but I’m here for it. ALSO GOD THIS IS AMAZING
love the narrative and the visuals, amazing work!!!
BUENAS KEYBLADE
MONEY HEIST MONEY HEIST MONEY HEIST
“I’m gonna crease your *DETERMINATION* Gaster.”
-Spot (probably)
And still the spot Absolutely Obliterated him
I’m gonna crease your shoes Ohd
-Gaster definitely totally
yooo the animation on the spot is actually clean asf
yeah, it really is spot on

2:24 - 2:36 the art work here is fucking phenomenal and the bars go way too hard here. Great Job on this part, it was fucking amazing!
What an absolute blast to help with this! It came out better than I could’ve imagined
I JUST noticed that 2:51 teased future battles. There's Candyman's hook, the lamp, I'm assuming the thing in the foreground might be for Moonknight but I can't quite make it out. No clue on the phone though.
Phone guy from fnaf perhaps? Who would he fight against though? Navi from Zelda?
That's actually Maui's Hook btw. You can tell from the shape and handle on it.
0:56 WHY IS SPOT DOING THE CLUB PENGUIN DANCE??
☠️
This may be your best looking battle yet. And Spot's second verse is amazing in terms of the animation used and the "found you" is the highlight of the battle
"Since you speak in hands, you can translate what mine say when wrapped around your neck"
2:27
I'm really surprised nobody else payed attention to this line-
He sounded like eminem
It was too fast for me to notice
Oh my..
“Kill a speech” his name is a font.
WHY DID THAT TAKE ME TO LONG TO REALIZE
This is a legitimate work of art, hats off to you. The storytelling and just plain layers there are in this rap battle could fit a two hour theory video.
A NEW EDDIE AND FRESHY RAP ON THE SAME DAY?! LETS FUCKING GOOOO!!!
It wouldn't be a Marvel Rap Battle without the Stan Lee cameo 1:43
Knocked it out of the park, excited to see where this channel goes next!
"IT'S OUT OF THE PARK"
_Wii sports announcer
The last line "my domain remains spotless" was so good.
“You better not be The Spot hitting the Club Penguin on a train when I come over”
My stupid ass: 0:57
Gaster wasn’t even participating in the rap battle tbh, he was on his own mission, and decided to rap while doing it. that non-chalant disrespect got him the dub in my book. It doesn’t matter how much spot put into his lines, he constantly came across as someone who’s trying infinitley too hard against someone who doesn’t care and it fits perfectly
i feel like spot wins because he literally forces respect, just like in the spiderverse movies, he forced gaster to acknowledge him
As much as i liked spots flow, all he really does is threaten him, especially in the 2nd verse. @@weelolol
@@weelolol not respect, just a matter of fact acknowledgement.
You guys went above and beyond for this one god damn
"Dude Im Right Here" Followed By "THOSE JOKES ARE OBNOXIOUS" was uncalled for 💀
fan of both fandoms here, absolutely stoked to see this anyway AND jt music plays the spot. amazing work, the references and disses combined are awesome
I swear the last lines for both Gaster and spot in second verse were insane especially Spot’s “You’ll finally have one cannon event!” And Gaster just also just throwing another line to anger him “My domain remains SPOTLESS”
"Since you can speak in hands, You can translate whats mine say when wrapped around your neck" GOES FUCKING HARD
The video for this is absolutely insane
You really went all out with this one
The fact you pull off shit like this with a fraction of ERB's budget amazes me. Bravo, Dustin and the team, Bravo.
The JT Music references, the webdings, the art style changes, this was peak actually.
production value through the roof
What the HECK this was a real trip. I did not expect it to go this wild, excellent job. It's a pleasure seeing you pushing the boundaries for this genre!!!
One of Freshy’s most quality battles, this is why I love this channel
I'm desperately hoping this gets a Spotify release because I want to be able to listen on loop
even though i believe Gaster's victory was Spotless, i gotta admit Spot's line "Since you speak in hands you can translate what mine say when wrapped around your neck" is the HARDEST line in the song
The Spot saying "how was the fall" at the start is so funny because he's voiced by JT Music
According to Snakebite it was an intentional decision
I think this might be one of the best Rap Battle animations I've ever seen, legit Spot's dimensional travel was greatly incorporated, major props to the animators!
And the Gaster Followers were amazing with the follow-up of Spit snapping while Gaster responds with psycological warfare. I'mma have to give it to Gaster in the end but both did amazing!
Great job to all involved!
Astounding job right here! The different dimensions scenes were something else!! Delivering quality as usual
The different art style switches were absolutely fucking awesome, both Spot and Gaster did a killer job on this
Nah that last line was fire: “My domain remains *spotless* ”
New Eddiefrb battle and freshy battle on the same day is wild
its rap battle day, gamingplush fightmarker and like every channel made a battke
The constant switch to different animation styles during Spot's second verse was awesome!
Kudos to everyone who animated that scene!
This animation was incredible, seriously, probably some of the best I’ve seen from you yet.
Undyne and Flowey won thier battles.
@@HB-fq9nn to you they did; that doesn’t mean I have to agree with you. Though I do need to mention that for a while, I didn’t know who, to me, won Knuckles vs. Undyne. I eventually had enough reasoning to side with the former, however.
@@angelicwarrior118 I'm interested, why do you think Knuckles won?
@@Ablonorid I was scrolling through the comment section of Knuckles vs. Undyne and happened to stumble upon a comment that pointed out flaws in some of Undyne’s lines. I stand by the majority of what that user stated. Also, I think Knuckles has some severely under-appreciated disses whose impacts I later realized, particularly the “Knock knock, it’s Knuckles” line, the “You lead Alphys on” couplet, and the “miss him” couplet.
@@angelicwarrior118 I'm impressed, usually people who express opinions that aren't the clear popular one on these get obliterated. I thought Power beat Nezuko and Alastor beat Caine and those comments got annihilated.
This looks so fkn Professional. All these different art styles, I love how you tried to go the extra mile and fkn owned it. Didn't expected that much efford and I'm happy that I got surprised this much!
Thay cast out bar was 1 frame away from a Don Demarco (did you catch my pun?) And saying you're stuck in a whole that you'll never come out of is a bonus. I give the EXTREMELY SLIGHT win to Gaster.
P.S. SHOUTOUT TO SNAKEBITE THE GOAT
Actual top tier visuals, that’s insane. This channel has upped the production quality like crazy. Also the “one canon event” line was so good lmao
2:33 Shattered beyond repair, also as a entry log says that gaster i shattered across all timelines each timeline affected by a little piece of him which is why in undertale hes so rare to see in a full piece
Spot: found you.
What spot actually found: a fragment of him that happens to contain his conciousness and formed a body probably through magic
Seeing The Spot hitting the club penguin dance has made my entire week lmao
When the Spot says "say, how was the fall" & then Gaster makes angry train noises has to be one of the best scenes in a music battle I have ever heard
I don't care what anyone says, gaster won the battle in so many ways
He made spot lose his cool with little effort, treated the whole thing like an experiment, and beat spot at his own game
the animation for Spot is insane! very well done dude. You've come a loong way ❤
