In all honesty, I think BenDrowned won, with slick wordplay and using the regular Sonic’s weakness in his 2nd verse. (Best verse in my opinion was when Bendrowned was doing the backwards talk.)
Fourteen-year-old me is SCREAMING! I love that Ben has a child's voice as a reference to his appearance as a preteen boy, and I love that Sonic's verses are reminiscent of metal music!
This may be one of the closest rap battles I’ve ever listened to… I’m giving the win to Sonic.EXE, but I did really like everything about Ben’s lines and delivery as well.
Ngl, EXE won in my book, and this is mostly the bias for not knowing much of Ben drowned, but my guy was going hard, and honestly feels like he was insulting him the most.
To this day, I don't get why Sonic.exe is the main .exe that's used in battles. And still not too many references to its current community. Those are the only complaints I have about these battles.

Despite not being as knowledgeable with the source material here compared to a lot of other battles, this might already be one of my absolute favorite battles to both watch and listen to, the beat and lyrics and animation and creepypasta influence are all simply immaculate.

I fucking love this batlle, but damn I wish there were more variety within the exes chosen for battles, I always see a depiction based on the original X, yet not the newer official canon of 2011X or one of the vast amounts of other EXEs

Unironically a great Sonic.exe voice, the more corny loud edgy voice i think fits a lot better

Also probably thanks to vinny's performance. very close tho.

Ben was cooking until Sonic.exe’s last verse. The round 2 line and the crazed screaming at “I say you’ve met with a terrible faith” won it for him
In all honesty, I think BenDrowned won, with slick wordplay and using the regular Sonic’s weakness in his 2nd verse. (Best verse in my opinion was when Bendrowned was doing the backwards talk.)
Fourteen-year-old me is SCREAMING! I love that Ben has a child's voice as a reference to his appearance as a preteen boy, and I love that Sonic's verses are reminiscent of metal music!

Ngl, EXE won in my book, and this is mostly the bias for not knowing much of Ben drowned, but my guy was going hard, and honestly feels like he was insulting him the most.
To this day, I don't get why Sonic.exe is the main .exe that's used in battles. And still not too many references to its current community.
Those are the only complaints I have about these battles.

Sonic.exe is a creepypasta character who was created by JC The Hyena (who did awful things) the character is in a cursed sonic game and whoever plays that game gets dragged into the game in the vessel of a sonic character and is killed afterwards.
Despite not being as knowledgeable with the source material here compared to a lot of other battles, this might already be one of my absolute favorite battles to both watch and listen to, the beat and lyrics and animation and creepypasta influence are all simply immaculate.
