About:
creative artificial intelligence networking entity abbreviated as caine is the main antagonist of glitch productions' indie animated series the amazing digital circus. he is voiced by alex rochon, and made his first appearance in the pilot episode. caine is an ai who portrays himself as the ringmaster of the circus, maintaining the simulation and additionally its residents, alongside his loyal assistant bubble.
he is presumed to be the highest artificial intelligence program in the simulation, also given that he can create other a.i. (such as bubble) and is the only one capable of reversing the glitch effect of those attacked by an abstraction, as well as being able to teleport himself and others to anywhere within the simulation, which includes the void. then pomni appears and now they are suddenly having a rap battle all together!
alastor, also known as the radio demon in hazbin hotel released on amazon prime as yall know, is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful overlords of hell. he is one of the main protagonists of the show hazbin hotel of course.
he is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist charlie morningstar in her endeavors, albeit, for his own amusement. alastor now stumbles upon caine and raps against the amazing digital circus

"We all know he's powerless when Caine snaps" is an absolute bodybag of a triple-meaning bar
1) The straightforward meaning - when Caine "snaps" and gets angry, Alastor will be powerless against him in this battle
2) Alastor seems to lose his powers/fighting potential whenever his cane is snapped
3) Caine snaps his fingers a lot throughout TADC, such as deleting Gummigoo at the end of episode 2 - Caine literally overpowers Alastor with a snap of his fingers.
Alastor did well, but I'd definitely give Caine the win, personally.

Caine definitely made a lot of better points and had overall better rhymes. What really sold Caine as the winner for me is how Alastor had to resort to violent threats by the end, just like how Vox had to resort to violent threats at the end of stayed gone.

There's no way this is only Episode 3 of Season 7 and they're cooking THIS HARD. Personally, I'm going for Alastor by a narrow gap. But Caine went so hard with his verses and disses that I won't even be mad if he ends up winning the poll.

As soon as I saw this matchup I was hyped, and this didn't disappoint in any aspect. The voice cast is simply perfect, neither held back in the SLIGHTEST, in fact, let me give a few examples,

Was looking forward to this one for quite some time.
This was a special one for me because I actually knew everything about both of the characters rapping for once lol. Caine had like two or three good lines and didn't do bad, just ok, Alastor really knocked it out of the park with his lines so I'd say he won. But I seriously adored both of their voicework and thought it was absolutely amazing and in character. I really liked this one!!

The wordplay behind things like "He could be Caine, he got sonned by Adam" and "We all know he's powerless when Caine snaps" are better, and he also has direct disses, like the head shot and replacing the cast lines. Of course, your opinions are reasonable and this was really close but yeah that's my opinion

That was...quite the fascinating battle. I just finished watching Hazbin Hotel last month, so I know it very well. And, as such, Alastor absolutely obliterated whoever the hell that other dude was. You simply can't beat Alastor. But, fun battle, Freshy! Quite creative!
Caine is the godly goofball from the Amazing Digital Circus series, he's an AI programmed inside the Digital Circus who's job is to prevent the circus members(humans that got stuck and can't leave his world) from losing their minds, but since he doesn't understand humans all that much he's not very good at it.
I don't know much about either series, but i was hoping for a video killed the radio star reference, and you did not disappoint

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING OFF THE LAST LINE!
The way Alastor sang the last line “Cause everything will become hell if you stayed God” seemed very familiar to me, but I couldn’t place it. But after watching it for a second time, it hit me. It’s supposed to be a reference to “Stayed Gone”, a song that Alastor sings against a character that looks like a computer! Which makes so much sense since Caine is an AI.
Vox is supposed to be representing Television, which is why Caine said "Video killed the radio star and digital killed them both!" (Which is also a reference to the 2nd episode's title if i remember)
I figured the way it was sung was made to reference Stayed Gone, like the line itself was, but I didn't catch the connection with Vox and Caine, very nice.
Helps given what he says, too, since Caine is essentially the god of the TADC, yet in spite of that, he causes a lot of trouble for those in it, y'know, like Hell. On top of that, in the candy kingdom, Caine inserts himself into it like a sort of God or something. Maybe that last bit is a stretch, but I thought it was of note.

Honestly alastor didn’t have much to go off of for insulting Caine. The show only had two episodes and sure there’s the content farm thing that went on but that’s not enough especially considering how Caine has basically infinite ammo for ways to insult Alastor. He could insult how he kinda got worfed, hide away, how he needs to be the centre of attention, how rabid his fanbase is ( I know that the circus doesn’t really have a good reputation either but Hazbin fans are way more cursed) and that’s not even half of it

@@Redacted2525 i know this isn't canon information but it is a common theory for now that Alastor was mistaken for a deer while in the forest hunting or burying one of his victims, and a hunter shot him square between the eyes, and that's how he died. Caine could also diss him on that.

It's ironic because technically Hazbin Hotel is what led to the rise of indie/digital shows.
As much as I enjoyed Caine winning the battle, I feel like "How many times can you glitch as a party trick?" is a completely overlooked line as it's a reference to GLITCH Productions and their plethora of shows and content.

The pilot episode of Hazbin Hotel had a completely different cast of indie voice actors that were replaced by a cast of bigger named actors when the show was announced (I hope I didn’t phrase that in a weird way or anyway that made anyone sound like the villain of that scenario. Show business is show business)
And Michael Kovac, who voiced Angel Dust in the pilot is the voice of Jax, so that’s what made the line hit so much harder

@@YoshimotoZentaro Alastor was decisively beaten/driven off by Adam at the finale of Hazbin Hotel. Adam is, of course, THE first man on Earth, he had multiple sons, one of which was Cain, the first murderer in human history who killed his brother Abel out of jealousy. Cain and Abel (and Seth) aren't explicitly mentioned in the show, though, but because humanity exists it's assumed they are still canon because humans had to come from somewhere/someone.

So many genius lines, but I feel like Caine took it by a small margin. Alastor had a great 1st verse and a KILLER 2nd. But Caine was just back-to-back flames.
Another fire rap freshy! Caine absolutely cooked alastor and the flow at 0:40 was absolutely insane!
Alastor had some decent lines too, some of which being fire with the “digital footprint” one, but Alastor’s last verse where he threatened Caine actually ruined it for him, it almost seemed as a way for Alastor to make his verse longer since he had nothing else to say that wouldn’t literally be him repeating the same thing, in which he essentially already did by saying how he’s a “bad boss” or just saying how everyone in the digital circus wants to leave, which in itself isn’t that much of a roast imo when the show itself is just THAT highly depicted as everyone being trapped and depressed pretty much.
Caine on the other hand kept jumping from point to point, each verse and line just completely cooked Alastor.
