If I’d found this two years sooner I genuinely think it would’ve sucked me right into the deltarune fandom. Even now it has me scrolling through the deltarune wiki and wish listing the game. Brilliant song!
Same, but presently. I have absolutely no context whatsoever as to what is happening or who anyone is. Song still slaps! But like now I want even a smidgen of context so I guess I'm off to play a new old game.
@@CarCrashPHD " Big $@!* " sounds more personified to Spamton or a " Big hyperlink blocked " Also where the heck is those square paraphrases on my keyboard
the fast part of this song (4:18) lasted 26 seconds and had 249 syllables, which means they were rapping at 9.576 syllables per second. Eminem's "Rap God" has a fast part which includes 153 syllables and lasts for 16 seconds. He was rapping at 9.5625 syllables per second. Stupendium, you are officially faster than Eminem
I love how the entire song feels like a build-up. It reinforces the feeling of a salesman trying his absolute best to pull you into his deals, building up so that you accept the deal without reading the fine print.
How did it take me so long to realize the [moist delicious cookies] was literally in reference to the cookies that you find on nearly every page, and that the next bit is cookies seeing your data and force feeding you personalized ads from your data history and anything that could possibly be related to it. So it’s not random I’m just dumb and he’s a genius.
I'm always questioning how people are not getting this during the first watch. Like literally the next line is about getting a list and guessing your habits??
Obsessed with how, when he’s rattling off items to buy, each item is strategically linked to the one before it by the first shared word: ie, “Cat plush, plush toy, toy box.” Like it gets lost so easily in all the chaos but it’s such a COOL fucking structure and I love it
Some of them aren't even words, they're just syllables - "Backgammon, ham n' eggs"; "Dog collar, Colorado, Adderall, ads are all seeping, Ping Pong, ponchos, choke chains" - which is even MORE impressive!
Holy CRAP that was friggen amazing!! It was sensory overload in the best way possible and I cant even IMAGINE all the work that went into this! well done!!
Sensory overload in the best way. I completely agree, and honestly, that's the only way I can describe this song. An absolutely frenetic pace and insanely tonge-twisting lyrics. And it all combines into an incredible song.
I know I’m very late commenting, but I just wanna say how much I love this song. It incapsulates Spamton VERY well, and the amount of research that must’ve been done to pull so many references is amazing. The art too is great, I love how jumpy and fast moving it is, while it’s still game looking. Things like the white outline, and when your head turns into a png really sell that it’s a game world. Also on a more personal note, I know a lot of people have already said this but you made a very specific sound in this song. It’s a good representation of what being over stimulated feels like for some people who struggle with that, but for people like me with ADHD it’s a very comforting song structure wise. It’s fast and constantly throwing something new at you. It doesn’t give me time to get distracted or start losing interest. I have never heard another song be able to do this. I don’t think you necessarily did that on purpose, but thank you for this song. I’ve seen your comments on peoples videos reacting to this song and, you always say it’s not a great one to start on, which it isn’t, some people may not like this, and assume this is what all your music sounds like. However I think this is my favorite one of your songs ever made. It’s amazing in every way, from the art, lyrics, references, music, and over all structure. I think this song is a very good representation of your skill. Keep making more bangers!
Going for a big data angle with searching “cat photos,” and letting that flow into an entire verse of “cat” related wordplay of trying to sell the viewer stuff, might be the most “Stupendium” thing we’ve ever had from you. I LOVE IT.
And just the finisher with "DO YOU WANT A CAT OR NOT?" sent me reeling. The sort of lyrical artistry that can't help but include just a touch if madness.
But of course, because this is spamton we're talking about, the recommendation algorithm goes completely awry and recommends a ton of random products the buyer never expressed interest in at all.
This genuinely feels like Spamton have a mental breakdown trying to keep the only customer he's seen in years, going absolutely insane over the fact that he could finally get profits he hasn't got since 1997
In 1997 free email clients had over 10 million users after hotmails launch in 1996. So in game he says "I USED TO BE NOTHING BUT THE E_MAIL GUY, NOW I'M THE [[It Burns! Ow! Stop! Help Me! It Burns!]] GUY!" All the spam he has seen.
Knowing Latharix of all people knows what Deltrune is, is amazing. I'm going to go and revel in this information for a bit. (Love all you do bud keep it up)
The “you're kidding? It's for you” part never fails to hit just right. It's one of the best lines in the entire song, both in delivery and in how inherently aggressive it sounds.
You know it's the real Stupendium touch when you can see the singing sprites' faces briefly change to fear and panic before they finish morphing into Spamton
@@Poseidon23270they're.. both. I would recommend playing Deltarune for yourself first and foremost but to give you the basic rundown: the Addisons are an entire race of darkner (dark reflections of real world items) that represents internet advertisements so they exist purely to advertise whatever businesses are around them, so they are actual people with real opinions and thoughts but they are also AI. Spamton himself used to be one but he made a deal with the Deltarune equivalent of the devil for wealth and recognition. By the time the player character meets him in Deltarune the deal had already gone south leaving him homeless and broke (he literally lives in a dumpster) hated and reviled by all.
This man is perfect for Spamton -> looks similar -> sounds like what spamton would probably sound like -> fast talking -> very very good at being evilly corporate
He did do that “The Fine Print” song for “The Outer Worlds” and put a lot of corporate evil energy in the singing voice, so it’s clear this isn’t his first rodeo
@@ModernAegis really? A song about how replaceable you are with literally any other dead person in the world has evil corporate energy? Everyone knows good corporations have high turn over ratings! Only bad companies keep their employees for longer than a day.
"So how does one write a song to be sung by a character who struggles with complete sentences? The answer? Throw all the lyrical rules out the window and go a little bit insane. Has it paid off? I don't know! I hope so." Has it ever! It feels like your Spamton is reciting fragments from several dozen different songs at once, which is exactly what it SHOULD sound like. Of all the songs I've seen by you, this one feels like the most ambitious and unique. The true unsung hero here is, of course, the creator of the instrumental accompaniment. The almost dubstep like beat seamlessly adapts to the near constant changes in tone and tempo.
Fun fact: the first half or so of the fourth verse's have and have-not section has 158 syllables in about 16.5 seconds. The fast part of Rap God by Eminem has 157. So technically you could say that Stupendium is now a rap god O.o
i mentioned this in a reply to the pinned comment but the whole song is quite literally the same pace as Rap God 1296 words in 5 minutes 1 second here (4.31 wps), compared to 1560 words in 6 minutes 4 seconds (4.29 wps)
The song slaps but we CAN’T ignore these 10/10 visuals. The spritework, rotoscoping, glitchy transitions, background work… SERIOUSLY HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE?!?! I gotta see if I can emulate this elegant yet choppy style somehow. Spamton’s existence has brought us some art that outshines entire movies, and this is up there as one of the greats now in my mind.
For a while now, I've been wondering why he just says "MOIST, DELICIOUS COOKIES" at 1:46, it's so unattached from the rest of the song. And then it hit me. Cookies, as in internet cookies, which is the data websites use to hit you with targeted advertisements. It's absolutely brilliant.
@@scarfshek7073 Well, the Stupendium tends to like most comments (They're _unusually_ responsive in that regard), but I think it's pretty clear from context that this is correct.
I also had the feeling that the moist delicious cookies are there to distract you from the fact he just pointed out he knows what you searched last year. I assume that's why it's right after he said "well that's just fine"
I like how this song makes Spamton both the villain and the victim at the same time. Like at 3:38 we do see him wrapped in chains and clearly suffering but immediately followed by him taking over the other Addisons.
Honestly, this is one of the most lyrically dense, chaotic, and overwhelming songs I’ve ever seen, yet it’s an absolutely masterpiece. Your performance as the Spamton is impeccable and the visuals and references are beyond impressive. I’ve been watching your content for a while, and this is crazy. Keep up the great work [BIG SHOT].
There’s actually a reason for it too sales men will do speak quickly and bombard you with information so you can’t process what there saying fully and basically just end up saying sure
@@NiennaFan1 A chroma key basically takes a color in an image or video and masks it out, so you can replace it with whatever you like. This tends to be the color green and is associated with the "green screen"; by filming your face in front of a green screen, you can mask out the green while editing, and this is how a lot of UA-camrs are able to include face cams without a background, leaving just their head overlaying the footage (among other applications in media). However, this line is also a double entendre; that is, it also makes a reference to the KeyGen item that is required in Deltarune in order to access the Spamtom NEO fight in a normal route.
A little bit of Spamton lore, a tiny smidge of pop culture references, and a whole fistful of genuine (and genuinely) concerning marketing practices, topped off with spectacular editing and make-up. Man, even the title of the song is genius. I'm still in awe this even exists.
Yeah not everyone knows that spamtons rant about calculating what you want is exactly what credit companies have don't to us all. Takes us a single year of credit history to know EXACTLY what you want. Even down to the time of year and if it's even you buying it. It's horrifying dude. "We can sell you what you want before you realize what you need" far more powerful line with that knowledge
The name of this song is incredibly clever, it's called "Ad Infinitum" which in Latin means "to infinity" but it also uses "AD" as in "Advertisement" which is what Spamton is all about. Even the title is a [BIG SHOT]
Additionally, since Spamton is all about salesmanship (and thus capitalism), it’s a nice nod to how it, and the businesses within it, function via impractical exponential expansion.
I feel like writing anything for a character like this is twice as hard, like a second personality mixed with spamton's for all the spam bot quotes, seriously great work
Also ‘If you wanna make your screen green’ sets this line up perfectly, the double meaning that those two lines have is great lyricism just like the rest of the video.
I know it’s been said to death, but this is what sensory overload is. Desperately trying to make sense of anything, being so fast, overwhelming, and chaotic. I also can’t imagine how many takes it took to make the song.
Jesus, the “gotta have it” part is nearly unintelligible, but in the best way possible. Like it just flies by and you can’t keep up with it. As always, amazing job on the song Stupendium :)
This feels like a 90's PSA song about the dangers of malware and the internet. Complete with shady character to represent the evil. Not in a bad way, of course. This song is perfect for spamton.
I never even considered Stupendium doing a Spamton song- but just seeing the title I'm already reminded of how well he is at doing creepy showman/salesman voice and I am SO ready for this!
"We can tell you what you want before you realise what you need" That's such a beautiful line to me. It sums up human desire and the internet so well...
@@the-letter_s well no trashbag is referring to characters like the CEO of Ficsit and the dude who sends you to colonize space. Turbocapitalistic greedbags who want to legally own you. You know, like our own """upper class""".
Despite the overwhelmingly dense and immense lyrical performance, can we just appreciate the actual production here? The way the kick hits harder as the song goes on is just brilliant. Absolutely fantastic work by Oxygen.
Nobody’s been talking about how every tiny detail in the MV adds lovely depth the video. Right down the the Papyrus Statue suddenly becoming Spamton, and slowly everything else in the video that isn’t spamton disappeaing
Stupes has surpassed being comprehensively great and gone into “I have no clue what’s happening but it’s awesome” territory. Don’t think I’ll be seeing any covers of this one haha.
Thanks to this song, I was able to get my son to watch The Music Man (1962) and he kept screaming "LOOK HE SAID THE THING!" So you have introduced at least one kid to a classic he wouldn't have been interested in otherwise.
The songs insanity is what truly makes it unnerving, Spamton is so much more than comic relief and this song really proves that, the invasive ads that feel out of THE DATA STREAM, I can feel so many of stupendium’s other songs in this and that’s not an insult, stupendium’s acting in this is so good and insane, here’s to hoping your futures bright man!
I love the name of this song Ad Infinitum looks like it means “Infinite Ads,” alluding to Spamton’s well spamming nature. Ad Infinitum in Latin means “To Infinity” which could also hint to Spamton’s Spamming but also could refer to Spamton wanting to reach “Heaven” Ad Infinitum also means “Forevermore” which also alludes to Spamton seeing past “Heaven” but could also be a reference to Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” where a man is too attached to his past love, hinting toward Spamton’s obsession with him being the “Big Shot” of Cyber City. Overall a nice little play on words.
@@TheStupendium Alas, as a wise man once said, "It is more possible to imagine the end of the world, than the end of"...consumerism. Yeah. That's what he said.
@@TheStupendium you are the only person making music like this who wouldn't leave a single thing unreferenced, even if it is entirely irrelevant, basically you are the big brain video game rapper.
I love the implications of the line, “we know what you want before you know what you need” it’s so cheery yet sinister once you understand what they mean
It really shows that Stupendium cares about the topics they make songs about, and invests time into properly understanding and depicting them. This song is so dense and chaotic, but there's a method to the madness. It's full of references to Spamton's character, history, and the setting he lives in. Even the chaotic style is perfectly in line with who he is, a manic and confused mess of a salesman who is still trying to be a big shot, and can cause some serious damage in the process. They could have just done a surface level treatment of the next biggest thing for clicks, but instead we received this lyrically dense and rich masterpiece. Not to mention their rapping skills are amazing. Very much a fan.
1:40 This whole speach about cats and catalogs are actually tied to Spamton, because if you don't know, types of enemies have different elements that are weaker to certain items, and Spamton has the CAT element, the same element that Tasque Manager has.
I thought it was a reference to how when you search something up, the internet immediately only shows you stuff about that one specific thing and things related to it.
Fun fact, the reason Spamton has the element of cat is a reference to cat6 cables which are green internet cables just like the cables controlling spamton neo. The element cat is also element number 6 hence even more of a reference to cat6 cables
Especially at 3:09 you can see the nod towards 'The Music Man'! ...but thankfully it's the classic The Music Man, and not the other more recent Music Man.
This song is the definition of sensory overload. It's a terrible feeling and really messes with my brain, and yet I can't stop coming back to it, because it's so accurate of both that familiar feeling and Spamton's character. Not to mention the [[genius genius genius]] lyrics, [TOP QUALITY!] visuals with [[BIG SHOT]] attention to detail and that [sweet hochi mama] costume! What can I say except /HYPERLINK BLOCKED/
Stupendium is stupidly good at capturing capitalism, „the data stream“ „the fine print“ and this one are just examples, I remember there being more as I worked my way through most of their songs.
Two things: 1. Ad Infinitum is probably most clever song title ever. 2. The bit that leads up to "HOOCHIE MAMA WHAT A MOUTHFUL" never fails to make my jaw drop. Awesome as always dude
This cosplay is arguably the best combo of realism and in-universe. Also the way he goes in between the [REDACTED] and normal text is just great and well-done. Stupendous and incredible work once again, good sir.
i am autistic adhd and i used to listen to this song for hours at a time when it first came out because 1. spamton hyperfixation/specil interest and 2. it is so much organized chaos at once which my brain likes a lot
As a song, this probably won't end up on replay for me, little too all over the place for my liking. But as an experience, holy shit I can feel the effort Lyrically and visually. Gets across the whole spam part, literally getting blindsided from 12 direction with 20 different things at once my brain is burning help
I'm currently taking a Creative Writing class and this is the *perfect* song for our "Lyrical Analysis" unit--there's so much symbolism and meaning in these lyrics, not only in relation to Deltarune but also the current state of algorithmic advertising/entertainment/etc., absolutely amazing work all-around!!
Hear hear! The seemingly endless layers if lyrical meaning and symbolism is a delight, especially, I've noticed, on tracks that have themes that overlap with ones relating to horrifyingly excessive consumerism/capitalism/etc, as evinced by everything from The Fine Print, The House Always Wins, Rest Employed, The Data Stream, and more besides. He's really got a gift for poetically framing various flavours of capitalist dystopias of one kind or another
could you give this song an analysis? I'm just dumb and I see no symbolism. The song is cool and there's definetely a lot to unpack, but my smooth brain is just "oh, good song, here's the happy chemicals, don't think too much about it"
@@zenmode3125 The easiest symbolism to takeaway from this becomes painfully obvious if you take a moment to remember that Spamton is initially just an other spam-guy. He's essentially spammail and this song embraces the raining of spammails onto you: A lot of sudden changes in the pace at which he rhymes/performs, a lot of sudden changes in the subject -first naming a lot of things to sell, suddenly "PLEASE MIKE JUST CALL ME BACK" inside there, suddenly a catchy headnodding chorus. And not just voice wise he jumps from corner to corner, the imagery as well, multiple Spamton's visible at once, suddenly he jumps from the left corner to the right in the blink of an eye, an other second he moves towards you. It simply rains onto you, your brain gets so much input in such a little time, it perfectly symbolizes the state of ads that you see in every corner if you don't have an adblock or the spammails that many people get hundreds of on a daily basis, there's so many things to focus on at once and it's so hard to concentrate onto the actual substance of a webpage with all the ads left and right and this song embraces that feeling the first few times you hear it. At least I felt completely overwhelmed the first two, three times I listened, especially since I love to focus on lyrics a lot to identify all the clever references it simply made my brain fall out since there was absolutely no stop before a sudden subject change.
For most of the video, the percussion is just aggressively and ravenously trying to tear me apart and i love it This is like a bullet pattern birthday card to the world
This is single handedly one of the coolest things I've ever seen come out of the UTDR community. The lyricism, the accuracy, the direction, the style, the production... what a wonderful piece of creation. This song feels so alive, I can't think of anything like this. You guys did a fantastic job with Spamton. Hoping to see this one on Spotify soon!! EDIT: It's finally on Spotify, I still haven't stopped listening to it on the daily
God, there is so much symbolism in this song, not a single line was thrown in there by chance. Even the monologue about cats was on purpose, as Spamton Neo himself has the Cat element.
@@funtimegamer8733 Yea, all of Spamton NEO's Attacks are the ID 6 element, in which the community has dubbed the Cat Element. It's why the Armors that mentions Spamton NEO also lowers damages from attacks by Tasque and Tasque Manager.
Absolutely! I think the One weird trick (discovered by a mom!) is a reference to the Lemon Demon song "One Weird Tip" which is really similar to Spamton's character! Though I could be wrong about that haha
One thing I love about all of Stupendium's work is that nothing is frivolous. Every single line has a purpose, and every visual element is there for a reason. Even things that seem irrelevant. One thing I haven't seen many people comment on is the "Moist, Delicious Cookies" line, which at first just seems like a random interlude trying to sell another product, but the context at that point in the song is about recording search history, and how do websites store user information for tracking purposes? Cookies. I just can't. It's too good.
If I had a nickel for every time Stupendium played a devious businessman with bars I could buy something ridiculous and that's a great thing I can't believe how amazing this sounds, fantastic job as always! That nose chin glasses combo is absolutely legendary
@@djamtz It would've taken me like a couple minutes to count them all, which I don't think is worth it because the line is less funny the more times something has happened
@@djamtz the Doof line doesn't apply here word for word. Stupendium has played dozens of evil businessmen with bars. I wanted the comment to actually relate to the video, sorry
@@EpicJosh84 Ok dude I was just thinking of that funny line, a lot of memes and funny lines come up in comment sections and a lot of them don`t relate to the subject, sheesh I was just spitballing
Beyond the breadth of their musical and artistic skills, I really appreciate that you can always recognize a Stupendium song by the way they say “Honestly” at the top of a verse.
It helps that he's British. Something about the vowel sounds and the culture make exasperated or condescending (depending on the song) tones fit into certain words quite well.
Okay but no one is calling out the artistry that is the chain of words starting at 2:00. The amount of thought that had to go into that combo, in that exact number of words, in that exact rhythm, and to steer it into the segments of Spamton's story, and back to the word cat had to have taken at least some hours.
The first time I saw Spamton I had gotten no sleep thr night before and was playing all of chapter 2 in one go overnight. At this point I wasn't sure what was real anymore and was convinced it was all a major hallucination. You have somehow perfectly captured this feeling and I love it
@@TheStupendium but the effort is so damn worth it, you guys put shame to million dollar bands of drones that churn out the same thing in a different package, genuenly 11/10
Thanks for sharing that, fc, I did not know that and frankly wouldn’t have believed it. It makes Stupendium’s response frankly even more impressive, not sure I’d have the discipline to pull off such a crammed full schedule just self-motivating.
My experience with this song as someone with no knowledge of Deltarune can be summed up as such: The beginning was pure confusion, I couldn't keep up with the words and had not a clue what was happening. I must admit that I started out not liking the song a whole lot. But in the course of a single listen, the speed grew on me, the chaos grew on me, and I started being able to understand and appreciate the lines. By the end I already wanted to listen to it again. Stupendium, everything you create brings me pure joy, and I very much appreciate your work. I hope all the kind words that your fans post makes you happy, because you deserve it. The world needs more beautifully creative minds like yours.
@@elinquisidorperseverante6835 I agree. I feel like the essence of the character is made very clear in this song, and the lyrics themselves can be understood (besides the specific references to the game, like Kromer, which the comments have been very helpful with explaining) this song is just so wonderfully crafted.
This is, without question, an irresistable banger. The lyrics and crammed in in such a chaotic way that perfectly fits the character and the beat just keeps the energy GOING. Awesome stuff Stupendium, keep it UP!
Really love how you pulled the vibe of modern internet advertising and scams. The verses where spamton lists off any possible thing relating to cats because you searched cat pics ONE time really sells it. Excellent work.
Really cool detail at 3:51. The salesmen turn into Spamton in the order that they left him blue being the last sticking with him nearly until the end and was the first one to find out Spamton had disappeared. That asides I love this song!
Not only that, but the blue Addison and Spamton kinda glitch between each other, as if he's reluctant but doesn't really know where to find him, or what to even say.
I have to say. This song is damn brilliant. It doesn’t even feel like a song, it feels like an assault. With all the drum beats and instruments playing all at once in such a catchy manner, it feels like a huge attack on your ears, especially with the vocals. Everything Spamton says is interrupted by loud, quiet, or fast advertisements and it’s perfect. Not to mention how desperate he sounds in the song, desperately trying to get you to buy something. Stupendium, you’re a god damn musical genius.
Yeah, you are goddamn right, it is overwhelming listening at default speed. Funnily enough, 0.75 mellows song a bit and you can actually understand what happens AND it is still good as a song. Songs like this is the main reason that i like Stupendium more that Dan Bull and others. The effort and quality is incomparable.
The sheer amount of attention to the source material and your command of its transition and evolution into your media format is BEYOND MEASURE. I played Undertale with my kids and now Deltarune, and my younger son has absolutely latched onto Spamton. We love your music, we love gaming, your content is an awesome way to connect, yes, but your talent and persistence to consistently work hard blows me away, I see it in your upload schedule, your content itself, how adroitly you craft your lyrics. My guy, to the moon with you. And beyond, because you are a STAR.
Like I said, ethereal. This song really captures Spamton's essence, even the flow itself being interrupted and going on little tangents (the chiller, more melodic chorus v. the fast paced main verses v. the spoken bits). There's no one who does this better than you
Most of this song is just extreme sensory overload, but I like how the chorus is a small little break from that chaos with actual lyrical sense and a pleasant sound, juxtaposed by the immediate and sudden return to Spamton’s nonsensical lyrics and loud instrumental. But what’s even better is that later on in the song, the chorus starts getting intruded upon by Spamton, making you feel like there’s nowhere to run from these *[GREat Deals!]* anymore.
"the very model of a modern major general store" The amount of references in here, not just to the game itself but in general, is genuinely insane. This man's lyricism is just off the charts.
For those who dont know: its a reference to the song from Pirates of Penzance where a character sings a song "I am the very model of a modern major-general". The double meaning of general. General as in the army rank but also general as in "general store".
Honestly not sure if it was setting up for a sequel or if Neo Spamton was just another metaphorical vehicle for the message of the song. The whole song is a criticism of modern capitalism and consumerism so Neo Spamton could also be seen as the enviable end to the current trend of the world's system to complete corporatism if nothing is changed and we just continue to "feed the cravings and eat"
Every time I listen to this, the verse staring around 2:00 where he makes the last word of the product the first word of the next one just amazes me. The way it flows while communicating the variety of junk spamton sells is just genius. Also, it always make me laugh when he tries to sell the entire state of Colorado.
@jax Warp during the first Spamton battle, he says ‘stop don’t take my furniture.’ This is probably in reference to his eviction from the queen’s palace, as they probably took his furniture as he was being forced to leave.
And he was trying to sell me Adderall which I do need well actually it would be better if he sold concerta cause that's the simulate I take but either I need extra stimulant medication Incase my insurance refuses to pay for it because I have a neurotransmitter defecit
I can't stop listening to this masterpiece, seriously Stupendium is the perfect voice for Spamton, I love this song and seriously the ¨have it¨ part is the best part for me (how can you sing without breathing, man you're a INCREDIBLE

Agreed
Sensory overload in the best way. I completely agree, and honestly, that's the only way I can describe this song. An absolutely frenetic pace and insanely tonge-twisting lyrics. And it all combines into an incredible song.
It's all fun and games until it's so in character it gives you a headache. And then it's just amazing.
I agree 100%!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much! Thank you for the support! :D

Also ad in russian writed as ад which translated to english as hell, "to infinite hell".
Additionally, since Spamton is all about salesmanship (and thus capitalism), it’s a nice nod to how it, and the businesses within it, function via impractical exponential expansion.

I love the name of this song
Ad Infinitum looks like it means “Infinite Ads,” alluding to Spamton’s well spamming nature.
Ad Infinitum in Latin means “To Infinity” which could also hint to Spamton’s Spamming but also could refer to Spamton wanting to reach “Heaven”
Ad Infinitum also means “Forevermore” which also alludes to Spamton seeing past “Heaven” but could also be a reference to Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” where a man is too attached to his past love, hinting toward Spamton’s obsession with him being the “Big Shot” of Cyber City.

1:41 is absolutely packed with great alliteration, assonance, rhyme, and so on, this song is quite frankly a masterpiece
The song is cool and there's definetely a lot to unpack, but my smooth brain is just "oh, good song, here's the happy chemicals, don't think too much about it"
@@zenmode3125
The easiest symbolism to takeaway from this becomes painfully obvious if you take a moment to remember that Spamton is initially just an other spam-guy.
He's essentially spammail and this song embraces the raining of spammails onto you:
A lot of sudden changes in the pace at which he rhymes/performs, a lot of sudden changes in the subject -first naming a lot of things to sell, suddenly "PLEASE MIKE JUST CALL ME BACK" inside there, suddenly a catchy headnodding chorus.
At least I felt completely overwhelmed the first two, three times I listened, especially since I love to focus on lyrics a lot to identify all the clever references it simply made my brain fall out since there was absolutely no stop before a sudden subject change.
for every 3 lines in this, 5 are some flavor of wordplay

Like I said, ethereal. This song really captures Spamton's essence, even the flow itself being interrupted and going on little tangents (the chiller, more melodic chorus v. the fast paced main verses v. the spoken bits). There's no one who does this better than you
Most of this song is just extreme sensory overload, but I like how the chorus is a small little break from that chaos with actual lyrical sense and a pleasant sound, juxtaposed by the immediate and sudden return to Spamton’s nonsensical lyrics and loud instrumental.
