Awesome run dude.
A hint for the swamp mission. If you rhythmically press the forward button instead of holding it down, you can swim without having to worry about being attacked by that fish monster.
Also, in the boulder canyon area with the ghost, when you grab the page in the upper right corner, the one that was #4 for you, the ghost will teleport right to you, but if you are fast, you can make an immediate right turn and barely avoid it, which helps prevent you for being ported out of the canyon.
I dont know if i had a different version than him, but i managed to get all pages without getting teleported except after getting the last one funnily. Though i must say my screen has been way way more dissorted and gray than Speezys at some instances and still didnt get teleported, allthough he Speezy did.
@@phoenixlordx4625 The ghost won't teleport right to you if it's already close enough to affect your vision like that.
It's more for speed runners who will usually leave the ghost far behind them.
Also, if you turn graphics settings down to get better frame rates, the screen doesn't distort as much, so you were probably running at higher graphics settings.

Not really, if u ever get attacked by charles u have like a 7 speed train and a flamethrower and it's really easy to not die
@@Cabo111 there are definitely no other ways to die 🙂 it is also not possible for charles to spawn before you get those upgrades 🙂

@@Cabo111 Depends on if it's a no death run or no death speedrun. For a speedrun no deaths would be great just heavily RNG based, dying is much faster than taking the time to fight off charles if he randomly decides to attack you; also for both you'd have to get good RNG that he won't attack you whilst you're away from your train (if away from your train and not in a building you're a goner)

The 5th ending is completely rng, turns out it's surprisingly difficult to get lawsuits against you when your plaintiffs can't write.

great vid! But just a tip if you want to go faster, there is a glitch called the ghost train where if you open the map while jumping off the train, the train keeps moving on the track while you are running to the next mission. It saves around 2-3 minutes in any% and about 5 minutes in 100%. Hope you find this useful! :]
In a 100 percent that’s not allowed because it’s a glitch, if it’s a trick that’s cool but if it’s not supposed to happen then you can’t do that in the run he’s doing

A terrifying game, instead of explaining, just go play subnautica. It doesnt actively hunt you or kill you, but it induces fear with atmosphere and sound. It creates anticipation and tension. Thats a terrifying game. Choo choo is not one of these like you said

You keep saying cultists but those aren't cultists. Those are paid employees for the mining company whose baron wants to keep Charles alive. It is in the lore pages that you can find throughout the game.
Most call them cultists because the creator of the game called them cultists; also I highly doubt they're "paid employees"...no ones being paid especially as they're legit not earning money (they don't have the budget to pay employees and everyone stuck on the island so it's not like they can do anything about it). Employees yes paid likely not

I mean, he's gone through water, leapt over seemingly unpassable gaps, run for countless miles without slowing down, taken bullets, repaired trains, picked locks, then somehow dealt with the cultists and then planted explosives, constructed weapons and then somehow killed a monster choo choo train. Now, if you're character managed to do ALL THAT while dragging huge amounts of scrap metal with him, don't make him a monster hunter, sign him up to the olympics. That is PHENOMINAL stamina, I take a rest when I carry my shopping home.
U did it with the train, try 100% it without using the train, it took me 2 hours 42 minutes and 34 seconds, try beat that, u can’t use the train once eugene has died but u can use it at the final boss, u can enter the train anytime just to upgrade or change paint, but no movement or weapon use
*That just sounds annoying for the sake of being annoying. It's a RNG challenge so there's not much fun in it*
@@Jahito_EBT You underestimate how much fun speedrunners have with RNG based runs..I mean minecraft is incredibly popular to speedrun but it's entirely RNG based (unless you go with set seed but even then it's still RNG based with drops and mob spawns).
Within the first few days of launch I've seen people trying out beating choo choo charles without using the train

@@testerwulf3357 Yeah, even with Charles constantly on me, I only died twice, now I’m doing an even harder challenge that has basically nothing to do with rng until the final boss, no scrap and no upgrades, that means I can’t heal, all I can really count on is where Charles teleports and the location of where he teleports me, I was on the boss for over 2 hours snd still no success, luckily it only felt like 30 minutes.
