      In this case it proves this employee's leadership purposely tried to destroy his career and livelihood instead of explaining that his actions saved the Demo and sale. Outrageous behavior and companies need to be fined millions or CEOs face jail time for this.

    I have simple words......... that nothing is permanent nor hate or love just one thing is certain that is death. so, why to worry if you have something or you have nothing. it is your will power and courage that changes everything in life. believe in yourself and move on for next assignment. save money for bad time do less expense have no loans on your head and enjoy life simple yet effective way.

    The same thing happened to me in 2019. I was in Wipro Hyderabad. I took leave for 15 days due to Dengue fever. The doctor suggested that to take bed rest for 15 days. But I told my Team Lead to give me 10 days leave and the rest of the 5 days I will do work from home. I got all the approval from my team lead, manager, and from my client. After 15 days I will join. In the middle of my leave, one of my team members told me that you are no longer in the team. Then I checked my mail it was written that "it is a termination due to cost-cutting". They terminated me without prior notice or warning.
    I can see these things have become very common nowadays. Companies are doing a betrayal policy with employees. They don't think twice before taking these types of actions.

      Very sad to know. May I know Rahul did they pay you 3 months salary as there is a corporate rule that company has to pay 3 months salary in case of termination

    Two things that should get changed in this country
    1. Strict Laws to employers and should be in favour to employees.
    2. Law should be changed on gender equality. Men are getting suffered severely now a days due to these unequal laws. 🎉

    There is NO issue with employee per se .It seems someone wanted to get rid of him and they found an excuse .Could be any number of reasons .Happens all the time .I have seen many rubbish employees get promotion and stay in jobs and good ones getting laid off .

    I joined a $hitty Andhra Pradesh (from Velagapudi) owned company ,but located in Hyd. I resigned just in four months due to Nepotistic style of management. The CEO called me up and begged me to withdraw my resignation- just to fire me after six months...

That idiot owner of the company played an emotional card with me during that phase and I thought maybe he was not aware of the actual situations played by the HR. I realized later that was a game plan of both the owner and the HR.

      Same happened in Mysore Wipro backup team. One of person resigned cunning manager made sure he has taken back resignation by fake promises and later made sure he had no dependency in team within 6 months and he was fired and the person now does not have job. If he had gone to previously selected company he would not be in this situation. Hr is just puppet of these kind of evil manager. Manager santhosh s k is poisonous and evil. No trust worthy. Revenge for resignation was taken

    Loyalty to a company is worthless. Here is a case from my current organisation- A senior leader here was delivering excellent results for the function. He delivered a very high value project that was renowned globally across the company and is an absolute benchmark of high quality. Come 2023, there were some pushes and pulls in our department’s global and India organisation, and in order to accommodate the aspirations of another leader here, our global head asked him to relocate to the headquarters country and report into another leader under the global head, who was running an important transformation project. That person and this leader from India did not get along, and just one year later, the company let go of this India leader who moved to HQ country. Performance ratings or anything else is unimportant- a company is a place of transactions and will let you go without a second thought regardless of your past record

    I have faced the consequences of not documenting.. certain % of hike was promised but at the time of giving hike He told he never promised tough it was in my hangout text... Many might have faced similar issues...

    Integrity issues are deliberately created by bosses and then they show it as a reason to fire the employee. This is a typical office politics in all Indian offices.
    The solution to this is to get good at playing political games at office or be a dog of the boss.

    I had this situation before as I used to sit after office hours for work but was fired at a late time. The lesson is that sitting after office hours for work with or without overtime does not mean you are working hard and it will add value to the career. Majority of the employees assume this.

    I got laid off due to Company not doing good business. I was asked to resign with two months notice period. My manager said it was unfortunate and also accomplished my work and sincerity. Anyway I resigned with no reason.

    My Experience: My Last Company
    I worked as an Intern Everyone Said you were working great, Awesome, energetic, etc..,
    I took leave for 2 days due to my sister's marriage before that only 1 day I only took leave and worked on that leave after coming on that leave I immediately went to a job to work the next day It's Friday they called me and ask some question in front of my manager me and my manager clueless while Me, My Manager and HR are talking HR suddenly told that
    "Due to Role Reconciliation, you want to leave the organization"

    Mysore wipro backup team worst manager santhosh s k. Everything is personal. Be in personal relationship with him. Go with him for tour or in car or wherever he calls and whatever he tells to do . Else he threatens that it will effect on job security. And if someone doesnot adjust with him then he make sure to create fake document to get the person removed from company itself. He makes sure person does not get release also.

    When I was working for a company in Bangalore they put me bench stating I requested for relocation to Hyderabad, I may leave the company. Strange. Previous company I worked for 6 years and this company I completed 2 years. Inspite of having stability companies don't values. Simce then moved to couples of companies and I and enjoying 50% Higher salary. Thanks for moving me on bench. 😂😂😂😂.

    You are right that such things happen. But you're wrong that this is one in a million. This happens a lot. Particularly in small companies which have no set morals, rules or regulations. Their livelihood is exploitation. Larger companies have their reputation to consider. So there's a lot more accountability there.

    Never over-work rather focus on work-life balance. If growth is slow and money is less, that's fine. Peace of mind cannot be bought online or in any store. Exploiting organizations should not be considered as safe havens simply because they pay more. A work-place is NOT your family so please don't fall for that emotional rant by your CXOs or top management.
