Once again I must pin a comment with a workshop item I forgot to mention - I used Liam's awesome shingle walls for the roof of the Snack Shack. Link in the description with the other workshop bits.
I’ve seen so many great builders on YT, but esthetic wise you’re the best. The detail yet simplicity, the color schemes. It’s not over the top and feels like a waterpark Ive been in the 90’s with my family at a camping.
Vibes. The attention to detail around the water fountains is what I'm here for. I feel like the food is WAY too cheap for somewhere like this that would be basically operating on the profit from overpriced Hot Dogs. I'm surprised the name Wet n' Wild didn't just come from the rather prominent company of waterparks in the US through the 90s and 00s. Orlando had a Wet N' Wild, as did Vegas, a few in Texas. There's one still in Toronto... I just assumed it was from that. I suppose it isn't the most original name, so it shouldn't come as a shock that it's used elsewhere in the world for similar endeavors
@@Geekism actually, Steve’s family fortune allows him to charge reasonable prices for hotdogs. He’s a man of the people. And yeah nah haha never heard of them 😂 I just thought oh that thing my friend takes his kid to has a fun name, I’ll use that.

I was there when Jonti gave you your shout out but missed the channel! Thankfully, the algorithm recommended you! Love this video - subbed after 6 minutes! Thanks for the chill content!
14:20 Take this with a grain of salt as I've not had time to open PC2 and try myself yet, but from watching other peoples' playthroughs, it seems feasible to have a standard path leading right up to the flume and then just an entrance gate onto the platform. So in theory you could have the staircase exactly how you want it. Maybe worth a quick browse at how others have achieved it? Loving the playthrough! Also sorry to burst your bubble even further but there's a Wet n Wild in Orlando too :D
yeah, I had thought about this already, and others have suggested it, but I'm stupidly picky about the standard elevated path having a hulking great concrete spine on it. I might try it on a future slide but it just feels bad in a different way haha. I will experiment with it though for sure...
Mineral man, I think your videos are top notch. the way you build things then present them are the zenith of expertise and charm. Makes me crawl up my own bum a bit to rub ego like this but now you're popping off as the kids say, just wanted to say you do you man. It's refreshing or whatever.
I love this! I used to work as a life guard at a local low-budget waterpark/themepark, it’s called Blue Bayou, from Louisiana! I think there’s a lot of inspo you could take from that park, and I’d love to see some of it replicated- my favorite was the Lazy River. It has *some* theming, but it was still on the low budget side. I’m sure there’s pics and what not on the web you could find :p
