I was going to say Eric you are one lucky guy to have Arial by your side in regards to the things she can do but then i realised your both lucky to have each other and to have found a partner that shares the same dream. I really enjoyed this video thanks for letting us tag along.
As a child growing up, we canned everything my Dad could get his hands on in the Summer. These times with you brings back some very SPECIAL TIMES. Thank You for you knowledge.
I'm flabbergasted at just how far you have developed your property in just a year. Good old hard work never killed anyone. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I can't tell you how much I love you your videos. I live New Orleans and the idea that a young family like yours are the living their best lives by the work of your hands, gives me hope for our future. May your children's children rise up and call you Blessed!
😂 I was loving that too lol! Focaccia bread will now be forgotcha bread. I just have to make sure I don't actually call it that when talking to a customer.
Sharing: I Liked that you cooked in the garden, My Mother kept a salt shaker hidden just for vine ripened tomatoes once in awhile I would catch her eating one and she would just smile and not say a word .. Thank You for sharing these recipes 😍
One of your videos popped up on my recommendations the other day. I liked it so I watched a bunch more. I'm now hooked on your foraging, harvesting and cooking videos. Your videos are addictive lol.
Going back and watching these summer videos in the dead of winter is what I’m living for right now. Looking forward to the sun coming back. Hello from Fairbanks!
Hello to the two of you, In these years, I believe your families understand your choices. I would hope they did before Covid19. I have been living a permaculture lifestyle in northern Quebec for 18 yrs. I follow your posts and am so delighted to watch your progress. Winters are long but gardening is life. When we began this lifestyle no one understood us. Documenting your journey pleases me, we have VSH tapes, we are in our 50ies now!!
You're not the only one. Same plan as mine. Lived up there for a few months running the Dalton...like a postcard everywhere ya look. 5 years or less is the plan.
Your story gives inspiration to those who are planning to live in rural. We would love to share this with our customers who bought vacant land from us and planning to live away from the city. They will surely get awesome ideas from your videos.
Awesome menu! It is amazing to see how light it is for us living in the lower 48. Thanks so much for sharing your daily lives with us. It gives me hope we can get "back to the land" and have a nice, simple and fulfilling life.

A very healthy way of living. Things must be going extra good Eric because you've been so relaxed the last two videos. Never noticed how tense you were till I saw these recent videos.
I have finally finished binge watching all your Alaska video and now I'm up to date. Great content and editing. Your channel should hit a million subs soon.
You should have a cook book! I forage a lot of my own foods and such. I live in WA State and am constantly teaching myself new things about what Mother Nature has to provide for us. You guys are amazing and such an inspiration. Maybe a list of books you read or some recipes? I would love to know both if you're willing to share
Morels are so good. People here in North Idaho covet their spot munch like their Huckleberry patches. Having fun going to the beginning and catching up to present. You have both come so far. I'm loving seeing places I've been. Thanks and God bless.

Hi guys, finally I found in this video how to cook bagel (sour dough) in water and then bake in the oven, what I asked you. Maybe the recipe is a simple sour doug... I will try it, thank you very much. Anyway, we, my husband and me, continue watch your episodes every evenings and really enjoy what you do all together in the garden and in the wild life too. Keep going!
So much info in one video, holy crap! I love yall, and stay safe. Very inspiring for me, just trying to save all my money to buy some basic land to get a tea garden/food forrest and mini homestead. Knowledge is power.

This is how life is supposed to be lived. In nature caring for yourself and family. Not bothering you self with things that don’t matter.
