Looking for a upgrade from the Yamaha psr E 413. Which one would you choose between the ek50 and the psr E 463in terms of overall quality of the styles and sound ?
Rajtilak Sengupta If you are happy with the E413 by all means go for the E463. It works the same way but has more sounds and styles, the DJ groove creator and DSP effects and you can record your creations on an USB stick.
Korg have certainly got their moneys worth out of the soundchip used in the Ek 50 ,it was used in the Pa50 then used in the microarranger and now years later in the Ek 50 ,not that thats a bad thing but personally i think the Casio ctk x 5000 /3000 are better and fresher sounding ,same can be said about the styles.
That snare drum is over powering. It is quite annoying. Music is subtle. That too loud snare drum hurts my ears. It is like a smack in the face to me. Find a nice style to accompany Til There Was You by Meredith Willson. Too bad you can not teach nice songs on you tube. The censors says it violates copy right and the Jews want to restrict and make more money off of people. We need an alternative to you tube. Freedom of speech! Some of the later styles in the video were more bearable. Rather than a hard hitting snare, have Korg turn the snare off on the snare drum, or better yet, use wire brushes.
