Very low price keyboard but very quality 😎
This blows the MAR1 and PA50 away!!! I love my MAR1, but the interface was too clumsy for live one man band stuff. It was impossible to use for impromptu sessions, so I used my inferior PSR 453 because it was quicker. I just used my MAR1 as a sound module, Korg has made this keyboard even simpler to use than the PSR and CTK, plus 3 layers on the right. I don't care if they didn't change a thing except the interface. Well done, mine is on pre-order. If you are an armchair musician, you may not appreciate simple interface. I would love for it not to look so dated, but I can navigate 90% without a manual because the layout is so familiar.

So ein Keyboard habe ich auch 😅. Leider hat es nicht viel drauf aber für Anfänger ist dieses Instrument echt gut. Jetzt habe ich mir korg pa 600 geholt. Irgend wann nach paar Jahren hole ich mir pa 700. Aber pa 600 reicht erst mal

Hey Eddie. I had for test this keyboard in my house. I guarantee that this cheap and litle keyboard made me crazy with the factory sound on the own speakers. Than i bought the Korg pa 600, and in the beguining, the ek 50 sound quality on his own speakers for me its much impressve and better. The sounds on ek50 were already mixed and its has more impressive sounds to the ears. But of course, the pa600 has a lot of more features and possibilities. But on terms of sounds, the ek50 sounds better to my ears, to get that point you have to work a lot on mixing with efects and layer.
Fair enough. I presume in your "have to work a lot on" line you were talking about the PA? Anyway, I myself haven't actually been around either of these, so I'll have to take the words of those who have, thanks for your views.

Teclado simples e bom na qualidade de som, pena que não tenha função Arpejador, isso útil hoje em dia em qualquer teclado KORG. O arpejador pode ser usado em qualquer instrumento como Strings, Flute, Piano, vários tipos de Lead.e Bass. E muito mais.
Единственный минус и нет вокодера,за свою стоимость KORG достойный вариант.

if you look at the display it shows the same settings for all those songs, pre programmed i guess !
They are showing a video on the details of the keyboard (buttons, etc) mixed with the video of the man playing... this is the reason for always showing the same style and voice

I play jazz guitar. Will the EK-50 be a good backing band for solo gigs or for just having fun at home? Can I play along with the built-in styles? Is there a better option? Thanks!
Go for roland bk3. This one is a beginner arranger keyboard. Its not bad, but isnt that good when amplified. Bk3 has better sound processor and good for stage/amplified. And the difference is probabky $50.
I went with korg kross 2 because it has drumpads. Would i recommend it over this? Yeah probably. Not because its better. It just suits my need for home studio.
Alpine Jennings if you want to play along maybe the Band In a box Software is better but I you need a really good keyboard check out the PSR S775 or S970.

GREAT DRAW BACK, SET LIST IS ONLY 4 REGISTRATION, COULD HAVE INCREASED TO 8, WE CANT USE THE INSTRUMENTS INSTATNTLY MORE THAN 4 IN LIVE PERFORMANCE. DEAR KORG MANUFACTURERS PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL IN FUTURE VERSIONS.
That's not true. The EK-50 has 40 Registrations. You can also save this Banks to an USB-Stick.

How to upload a single .sty file instead of the whole set to the Korg ek-50 keyboard? When I call a style for a single song user01, it takes up 16 places in the korg's memory and not one?

E pelo que eu vi, ele tem espaço pra ritmos de usuário. Os timbres PCM são muito bons.
