These are really great farms just remember to have your sound on when farming for macro checks. I had my sound off one time and I got macro checked twice beforehand but I responded to them. And then I got macro checked another time and I just forgot because I was watching something with the sound off and I got banned. (that was kind of just unlucky because I've seen people with 1b counter only get macro checked once)
@@Thorpian they move your camera 90 degrees or delete the crops so if you’re not looking at your screen you need sound to respond to it to know you’re being checked or goodbye skills

Really helping me maximize my farming! Going for infinite, very lazy (optimally 2 buttons: very wide farm with TP at end of row) farms and these videos are great. So tempting to think about macroing because it would be so easy and rewarding. Heard a lot of people get away with it. Still not gonna risk it though.
I build the outline of the whole farm from bottom of map to top. Connect each layer with 2 dirt instead of "dirt glowstone dirt glowstone" and then because I have the shape of the farm, I can use the builders wand 100 times instead of 100x how many floors you have. (Use ruler to delete the excess dirt and then add glowstone)
That could definitely be easier! I tried to avoid that for ppl who couldn't afford a builder's wand, but also because I thought it might be too big (which it wouldn't be on garden cuz it's so much smaller than main island). Good point!
So glad you made this! I had just finished making 8 out of 10 farms ln your last setup. I'm thinking when I decide to do mushroom and netherwart I'll start in on this method. I don't see a lot of people using cane in vertical farms so I'll probably leave that one out of the vertical. Melons and pumpkins seem like they would benefit the most from this vertical setup. Also go go for 1k man! You got my sub on the last video!
How many plots would it require to be fully infinite? 5x1 plot layout is the best for AFK but wouldn't allow you to have all types of crops Is there a ratio where it is AFK and you have all types of crops on the farm?
You can actually get most of the farms in here, you just might need to leave out 1-2 crops and add a second or third segment of the ones you want. Because you get so many closer together floors, it's a little easier
Thanks Hypixel! But we'll see. If it's truly a storage issue alone, then just dropping height limit doesn't rly help em long term. I bet they still lower it, but I feel like there are better ways to solve their problem....
@@talegamer1310 true facts! But imo the number of crops is more for making sure the farm is infinite which on garden should be a non-issue. The number in a row will just change the speed limit you set for optimal farming

i suppose you can go with the standardish 290 but my guess is that 327 is for maximum speed vs cane broken since in a 5 plot config its more than infinite anyways so you maximize collection. i could be wrong as i am spending today building the farm and the speeds are just the information ive collected from people who have already built and used the farm. I hope this helps
@@Thorpian 327 works for cane as long as your doing a 45/135/-45/-135 angled farm and only holding S for backwards and only d OR a for forward movement

does anyone know the speed for cacti even so it says it breaks it instantly i have to walk way slower than for anyother crop to break 4 rows at a time aka 2 cacti in one row
400 (or 500 if you can with racing helmet), but after you hit a cactus it takes a second to break so you can't have two rows deep, you gotta have just 2 rows, not 4
Check out my other farm guides, different farms need different sizes. Also for hypixel, you can't build em vertical anymore. For other servers/vanilla, growth speeds are diff so I'm not sure of size

I use a s-shaped semi afk now for pumpkin, mostly because the vertical pumpkin takes up more width space and I wanted to fit more farms in less plots
